Timewave Zero - Countdown to Transition

I'll fill in for Evasius until he gets back ,with my findings on a particular resonance..

I've been tracking it for a good while nows and it holds both some significance
to me personally and for the whole world.

I would guess that (to him) the Atom bomb was a very novel event, but he may be quite wrong to use that date. Afterall the atom bomb was an evolution of us creating fire (and othet energy related inventions).

Maybe using the date that we invented/built the first silicon chip or transistor may be a better date. This would also fit in with moores law en.wikipedia.org... and that particular resonating timewave, plus moores law is very 'human' related and doesnt include natural disasters which seem a fave of the timewave crew.

I believe the end of April through May is when things will get really interesting.
According to my notes, we'll be experiencing the period of 1840's - 1850's,
where some notable events took place-

1839 - The Concept of Manifest Destiny
1842 - Sewing Machine first patented in the US.
1843 - First Facsimile Machine invented
1845 - Rubberband invented
1845-1852 - Great Irish Famine
1846 - Liberty Bell cracks (..again, and for the last time)
1846 - Neptune discovered
1846-1848 - The Mexican-American War
1847-1869 - Mormon Migration
1854 - "Walden" published

Those are just a few events that caught my eye, I'm going to
keep those in mind during the upcoming couple of months.

Apparently you are using the same period, 2008-2012, as your zeroth period as I did, as the first resonance appears, using a base of 64, at 2012-256, or 1756: I too noticed the climb to the last plateau of stability, corresponding to the 2010 US election season, resonated with the period of the 19th Century you mentioned...interestingly enough, that plateau of "stability" itself corresponds to both the US Civil War, and to the Franco-Prussian War, which resulted in the Paris Commune being established, then overthrown, as well as to the foundation of the Third French Republic (the one which lasted until the Nazi invasion) and Second German Reich in 1871.

So a "plateau of stability" can still correspond to quite a lot of entropy, in the form of wars, revolutions, etc.: the point is that important, relatively stable states were consolidated through those wars.

Of more interest to me is the peak, without a plateau, of stability we see in 2011, which corresponds roughly to 1900: that climb to stability was choked off abruptly with the assassination of Archduke Ferdinand in Sarajevo in 1914, touching off the First World War.

Will a similar assassination in 2011 touch off a similarly tragic period in the runup to 2012? What else could be as destabilising? We shall see...

...We shall also see if anything corresponds, in 2012, to the last major peak of stability corresponding to roughly 1968: this was a seminal year of upheaval, followed by the stagflation which set the stage for the fall in real wages which sent us into the world of debt in which we now find ourselves ensnared.

So: kudos for your efforts, and stay tuned!

Time to correct my mistakes!

The period 1/08 to 12/12 is actually a five-year period, so at the next level up, this gives the following resonances:

2008: 1692-1756

2009: 1756-1820

2010: 1820-1884

2011: 1884-1948

2012: 1948-2012

This correction highlights even more strongly the similarity between 2009 (resonating with the American Revolution, Industrial Revolution, French Revolution, and Napoleonic Wars) and 2011 (resonating with the First World War, Mexican Revolution, Irish Independence, Arab Revolt, Russian Revolution, Roaring 20s, Great Depression, Second World War, and ending with the beginning of the Cold War).

Again my take on this is that 2009 witnessed an economic revolution, in the form of state-capitalism replacing market-driven capitalism; 2011 may well see the rise of fascism in response to further economic chaos; 2012 therefore marks, in my interpretation, the overthrow of both capitalism and fascism, ushering in of the Age of Permanent Revolution (socialism, understood as economic democracy, replacing capitalism, developing from immediate, crude post-capitalist forms into the more advanced communism, as increases in productivity result in a continual shortening of the working day and week, without the crises arising from the inescapable contradictions of capitalism).

Again, we have but a couple of years to see whether my, or any other interpretation, of the timewave is borne out...or if Terence McKenna's work was but an interesting mathematical exercise.

I tell you, since October 6 2009 my life is becoming surreal...Really I wouldn't recognize my own life before October 6 2009...

Now my life is made of constant sinchronicity and coincidences and extreme amazing deja vu when meeting new people...

I keep dreaming people years ago that I don't know and meeting them now, right now, since I dreamt them in 2007-2008...Its quite amazing...

I feel the amount of change in my life since June 2009 is becoming huge and COMPLETE...

Really, my life has changed in a astounding way...The only thing I know now is change...

I feel like I 'm already in the inifinte novelty zone...

LOL, welcome to the club

IMO the timewave is more about syncroncities than matching up 'novel' events, Robert Anton Wilson spoke about it (all be it tongue in cheek....but hey, if the shoe fits !) in his book 'Cosmic trigger' and once you become aware of these syncronicities, whether they are triggered by the timewave or the number 23 or whatever, they increase expotentially (until they become 'normal' then its just a matter of waiting for the next ramp up, the next octave.....etc)

Its an eye opener is'nt it !

today morning I did , I played with timewave correction replacing novelty points with other dates and such...

The timewave as it stands is quite obviously not predicting events accurately (although it is possible tht there are some 'behind the scenes' novelty events occuring which we dont see)

It would be nice to see the whole wave shifted so that it does align more harmonically with the events that have been unfolding recently. It might be a week out, it might be a year out, but i'm pretty sure it is out of sync.

To me too seems out of sync, I just feel novelty is TOO HIGH since a few weeks...Every single day blows my mind with unexpected sinchronicities and weird events...

It seems to me that we are already experiencing November 14 2010 point or we are going to by the 19th April or 4 May or 13 May...

Time rapidity perception: mech velocity, really super fast...

The end of the graph might also be on August 13 2010...

We can only watch and see if we want to give validity to corrections.

I'm writing on other forums to wait a colossal event next week or in May 2010...

I'm starting to think that 2012 or end of the timewave, will come and go and its all false. I've been researching a ton lately, and I believed, and maybe still consider, that 2012 will be a huge year. But as time goes on, I'm beginning to think its all false. 2012 will be just another year and we'll keep on living in the same way we always have. I mean it is already 2010, and it certainly doesn't look like there are any major changes happening, and you'd think we would be able to see it now, if it was coming in full force in 2012. So I don't know, I'm on the fence.

I know what you mean, but one thing's for sure: the hypothesis that the end of the Mayan Fifth Age/zero point of Terence McKenna's Timewave corresponds to anything or not will be tested fairly soon: in about three years!

I noticed that the time series graphed in this thread, 2008-2012, stops just short of what was predicted in 2007 by Tony Smith; look at this link: www.valdostamuseum.org... and compare it with this Wikipedia entry for the Great Recession: en.wikipedia.org... . So we do have a prediction of a major event.

What I found of interest wasn't only the historical references accessed via the next level of resonance up from the interval presented in this thread; I also noticed the similarity between the election years 2008 and 2010, as well as the years following those.

As I write this, President Obama is going to fly to the funeral of the Polish President and Cabinet...who died in a bad-weather plane crash...during an eruption of a volcano off the coast of Iceland which is producing so much ash that it has paralysed air traffic between North America and Europe.

If President Obama also goes down in a plane crash, that would be a profoundly destabilising event, no? Yet the timewave graph presented here shows not a bump...so maybe it augers well for Barak Obama.

Or maybe not! Notice that, at the next level, the same upcoming "plateau of stability" is ushered in by profound events: the Franco-Prussian War, the rise and fall of the Paris Commune, etc.

So, if President Obama ends up on the losing side of the flight risk, the "plateau of stability" we see in the graph might be the result of a fascist and/or military takeover in his absence: "stability" enforced at gunpoint, as it was in France and Germany in 1871 (or, to take another example from the same era, "stability" enforced at gunpoint in 1865 as the Confederate States were forcibly reincorporated into the United States).

So, to reiterate my original point: we shall soon have a chance to test the hypothesis that Terence McKenna was onto something with his Timewave...won't we?

1) According to (London) Times Online ( url www.timesonline.co.uk... ):

The Prince of Wales, Barack Obama and David Miliband, the foreign secretary, have had to abandon plans to travel to the funeral of Lech Kaczynski, the Polish president, today.

So that potentially destabilising event is no longer in the air.

2) Unlike Surtsey, this volcano isn't off the coast of Iceland: according, for example, to MSNBC (please see url www.msnbc.msn.com... )

Southern Iceland's Eyjafjallajokull glacier began erupting for the second time in a month on Wednesday

So once again my apologies for my errors...and once again note that a prediction has...this time by omission...been borne out.

If some massive event is going to happen next week or from May 4 to May 13 we will know the oiginal graph is out of sync...

According to my calculations, the most likely dates of massive novelty are coming now, next month or we are already in it since April 10-14...

The other two are in March and by July 6 2008 ( this may mean end date is in August 2010 )...

We have simply to wait to determine...I like the original graph too...

Repetition of Ecuador eruption with flood was repeated now instead of this Fall, repetition of Chicago fire was New York fire on April 12 and such other things...
