New fear trend? Perhaps, but I think you're way off....

Yes, fish and birds die in groups, but not like this... there are no recorded instances of this many masses of animals dying off in such a short period other than the last ice age, which they suspect took place in a few years, not a few thousand. In any case, I completely disagree with you that it happened before or that it isn't serious.

As far as TW theory, this would be novel for most people on the planet right now, and a glance at the ATS forums confirms that without a doubt.

Fact is, mass deaths are NOT increasing and they are very common...
The only novel thing is that now the media is talking about it...
Imagine what people would do if the news channel suddenly started to talk about how many people actually die every day...
I don't know why the media is picking up this stories now on their news channels, probably to establish a fear trend.
Now, I don't really know what's building up to happen on January 17.
It will probably be a sudden thing.

Today I was walking around on the campus I'm working, and guess what?! There where a lot of students talking about the ufo's they are seeing, the 2012 prophecy and the things I am reading here on this forum. We carry a lot of christian students also, I was wondering if it is fear to give them a change to talk about this experience in maybe an education way., for example a Guest College or a class debate. We also have a note on this school that moslim-students ca get a day off on Ramadan.

What do you think about it?

I've got Wubbo Ockels maybe on a Guest college next week.
Love to hear your feedback!

The same thing happened to me when I saw a bunch of little kids not even 9 years old talking about 2012 and aliens with a book about the world's mysteries...
I love when kids in mass go read a book that one kid brought to school, whatever book it is...

Die offs happen often. It's just that animal die offs are the latest fad in reporting. Normally, they don't make the news. Sometimes the fad is reporting shark attacks, sometimes not. Sometimes the fad is reporting invasive species, sometimes not. Sometimes the fad is reporting killer bees, sometimes not.

These types of events are reported when they occur over land and during migration times when birds flock in large numbers. These events tend to happen at night when most birds migrate. Flocks that are wiped out over large bodies of water are not reported. Flocks that are wiped out over areas where few people live are not reported.

You are missing the point...

To most people, this is "new", something they've never seen or heard of on a scale like this before, regardless of the cause being the media or your neighbor or a kid at school. To the everyday person, this is not something they have experienced often, if at all.

I don't disagree that die offs happen, and that they happen with some frequency. What I do disagree with is that with the media, and the internet with facebook and twitter having been around for a few years now... if this had happened 6 months ago, the reaction would be the same. The reason nobody reacted?

It didn't happen on a scale like this with this many people bearing witness to it. People hear on the news every now and then that a bunch of dead fish or birds turn up. People don't hear about it from across 7 different states and/or 5 different countries in the same week across 3 different species (birds, fish and crabs).

You can explain it away in any number of ways, but that is moot from the discussion of it being a novel event, which this is.

On January 6 I discovered that I have cousins I previously didn't know about...
My mother discovered she has a sister she didn't know about...

January 6 is the epiphany...means sudden revelation...Discovering the truth...

The surprise is...They live in my same town...And one of the cousins was my aquaintance since 2008...

This sounds very novel.

On this day 2 years ago I started writing a movie script in English where two people that already know each other discover they are cousins...

The day before the discover, I was starting reading a book called " The Answer - Every question will be answered " and the night after the discovery I've seen a episode of a tv show where a father decides to take care of a girl that will be discovered being already related to their family...

The massacre in Tucson on the 8th of January seems to have been picked up by the timewave. First, lets look at the entire month of January:

As you can see we are quickly approaching the 01/17/11 date that has been marked as the lowest valley thus far for novelty experience. This will be the time period which will be considered the most novel for the collective consciousness of our species, for the time being that is. Now take a look at the second largest dip for this month, which happened to be the 8th, 18:33:52 UTC specifically.

18:33:52 converts to roughly 5:33 UTC-7, which is the timezone Tucson, Arizona resides in. In other words, the novelty valley flatlines just in time for people all across the nation to turn on their local news stations and probably first hear about the tragic events of that day.

The graph continues along its flat line for the next two days, which could be deciphered as all the habitual mudslinging, blaming and political baiting that has gone on since this event occurred. After the 10th (today) the novelty graph begins its slip downwards once again.

Red flags we must be aware of is the exact nature of this news story, and how much coverage it gets internationally. We cannot limit events that take place only inside the United States as being the marking points for the Timewave. Nevertheless I will continue to keep a close eye on this event as it unfolds.

What a bunch of hogwash...it's like shooting a barn door and then painting a bullseye around the area where you hit most. You can ALWAYS find some crazy event somewhere in the world on any given day, which means, this ridiculous timewave stuff can never be wrong

Speaking of novelty, what a novel event it is to hear yet another person come here with no knowledge on the subject and start spouting off about it like he's the authoritative source on the subject.

I seriously doubt you have read anything on Terrence McKenna or any of the related reading material to understand nor appreciate this thread and it's subject matter. Nothing you've said is any different than any other uneducated debunker who comes here unarmed for a battle of wits. Do some fact-checking and reading on the subject first unless your intention is only to come here and aggravate others who have.

We'll continue to observe, you can keep shooting at barn doors. If the target is as big as your ego, maybe you'll score a few points.

No matter what you believe, it should be evident that this single shooting is NOTHING compared to so many other things that happened that day. For crying out loud, innocent women get raped in parts of Africa every single day during civil war, yet people really claim this one crazy dude is more significant?? And it's obviously proves that silly timewave theory because of its incredible significance.

This is LUDICROUS!!

People need to stop looking out and start looking in. Look at your life personally. The world news is HOGWASH. It's lies, entertainment, nonsense to waste your time. I can tell you my life personally has never been as filled with the level of novelty as it is now...ever. This is the most exciting time of my life. What is our reality anyway? It's not the news, it's not movies, it's not magazines or newspapers. It's our relationships. It's our mentality, our worldview. That's what is changing. Each one is of us. Each one of us is changing completely and irreversibly. This is awesome, be thankful you're here to witness this.

Good for you, but what does that have to do with timewave zero...and if you claim it does, what's your evidence to support this claim?

You are on a conspiracy site demanding evidence for my anecdotal story about a pseudoscience novelty theory generated by a crazy hippie that used consciousness expanding drugs in a jungle to invent said theory? I hope someone is paying you for your internet tenacity, oh discoverer of truths!
