That's because people are making stuff up. None of it is true. In psychology, this is known as cognitive dissonance with elements of assigning and projecting. What it really tells you is more related to the person posting than the visual object itself.

If I'm currently attending school as an RN major, do you really believe I would be working as one? How did you connect this to the military? To be completely accurate, I'm going to be a Physician's Assistant but my school does not offer undergraduate courses for this field. Instead, the requirements are identical to RN with an added chemistry course. Therefore, RN major. I already showed my squadron patch. This is from the 9th Airlift Squadron. That squadron does not have members in strictly medical roles as you may have seen. Upon completion of my enlistment, I went to college to be an EMT. I thought I would enjoy being a firefighter. As one often does in a lifetime, I changed my mind. I much prefer the medical side of the action.

Does this clear things up?

Long story. Basically my "career" was aviation so when I wasn't out flying a mission, my time at home was... time at home. Fairly cushy in comparison to say, ground troops.

And Jack's life history has what to do with this thread? He's just sharing his perspective from his experience and has even stated that he's open to other perspectives. I've gotten to be pretty good at ferreting out the people that are "professional ATS'ers" from those that just have a more "down to earth" perspective (in other words, the seekers that err on the side of mundane explanations as opposed to the seekers that err on the tin foil hat side.) I like this thread for the most part. Jack is just providing a different perspective, not attacking others perspectives. (end defending diatribe.) I think the space would be better served by an analytic breakdown of the symbols found in the patches as has happened in a number of the posts.

So green door refers to ISR (intel, survalience and Recon) type of projects usually these programs are not "really" military, more like CIA type of affairs . Apparently you have to apply for a position that u have no clue what your going to do, so in a sence there is no telling what types of projects this could account for. They pick you for what you do, know, and how well you do it.

lol now that i think of it, it could just really stand for compartmentalization, different rooms, closed doors, rather simple.

Well I can only say general intelligence for sure. The airborne systems connection is speculation on my part.

But yes, there are rooms within rooms at places. In fact, when Top Secret info is discussed, it's typically in one of these rooms in a general intel office. Those with even secret clearance (would have been me) would be asked to leave the outside room. Even intel troops would have to leave.

Just a thought, we have folks on here from all over the world that may help with the deciphering of them. I have a few obscure patches in my shadow box at home from 1st Desert Storm conflict I will try to post later (although nothing as cool as these) S&F BTW great thread

I think that compartmentalization has very little to do with it.
CIA and intelligence sounds about right.

Hell (lol no pun intended) at the pentagon just a few months ago they were going to spend $600,000 on statue of a fairy woman (fairy queen in magic breastplate on her frog knight/beast? who could that possibly be?) riding on top of a frog.

The intelligence agencies do seem to focus of occult symbolism in their logos.

I would disagree with the experienced military man as they seem to comment very little on these blatant and obvious symbols which leads me to think they are not very familiar with them. I would listen to the departments that they suggest as they seem very credible in that area.

Um, are you saying the patches are fake? Cognitive dissonance has nothing to do with this (Psych grad student here). If you are saying that the patches are real but people are reading evil into those patches (projecting), I suggest you take another look at them.

Yellow is for divinity excellence, highest values, loyalty, magnanimity, supreme wisdom and wisdom.
Blue is for devotion, innocence, planet Jupiter, justice, loyalty, piety, sincerity, sky, thinking, and truth.
Black means dignity, determination, divine doctrine, mighty, night, prudence, regality, planet Saturn, and sophistication.
White is for perfection, purity, truth, and wisdom.

This sounds more like astrology to me. But interesting nonetheless. So, do you believe that Paglens Patches are real or fake ? I'm suspecting they are mostly genuine with some fakes and probably some semi or nonofficals.
I think Paglen said he wanted to publish an updated version of his book.
