This has nothing to do with democratic rights or impartiality, it has to do with decency and morality.
And i for one applaud these workers for standing up for what they know to be right.

This is in breach of the “conscience clause” agreed in 2005 that allows postal workers not to deliver material that they find offensive or believe their customers may find offensive.
And I'm glad they're using it to make a point.

They were threatened with the sack a few days ago for refusing to deliver.... now the Post office have reversed their decision.

They would stop every "foreigner" coming intop the UK for whatever reason.
Whether we needed them or not.

At the moment there are special rules and exceptions for things like nurses and doctors, to allow more from overseas to come and work in the UK.
because we have a shortage of these skills.

The BNP would stop all immigration and even force people out of the UK.
Not good.

Not at all.

This has always been the case, you used to have to get a special "permit" to do it... i had this arise in one of my old jobs.

An elderly white woman only wanted a white carer to come into her home and look after her, as she was old and had "issues" with non-whites..so we had to apply for said approval and it was allowed that we advertise for such.

Same for women and same for any ethnic group.

Not just anybody can advertise for specific races or genders.... you have to get permission and it is only in certain cases.

Er...it's extremely relevant...that's the point.

There are certain cases that require this to be used.

As i said, if it were only one race or ethnic group that were allowed to use it...then yes, it would be racist.

As EVERYBODY, irrespective of race, is allowed to use it...then it is NOT racist.

I understand your point, that in itself it is racist, and i am neither against or for it...but as i said.... every race or sex can can use it.

It was mainly used for women (or men) so they could be cared for by other women (or men) and save them embarrassment.
I guess it spreads to race too.
