Yeesh, my currency there would mean nothing at all.

Still though, I think I need to look at those other programs, I mean, it can't hurt can it? Just won't be something I'm used to!

I am still fighting with the technical issues here and time is scarce. However, I want to be part of it, and if it is only for the Olympic thought!

I completely agree... I find that you play around for a while with several different apps and then one just sits right for you. I've tried cubase and logic and reason too, but it's funny how ableton just worked well for me. There's some big names that use Reason and for good (heh heh) reason... The prodigy worked with reason almost solely for their last album (not sure about their latest album though).

Yes, I too have a mountain of VST's, so many cool people working to build lovely free VST's that I can download! for those that don't use too many VST instruments or effects (apologies for off topic) or are just getting into the topic, check out Free Music Software for all the software (LEGAL AND FREE) that you'll EVER need!!! then get a nice cool drink, and put those headphones on!

Hey y'all...this thread has really inspired me to put some of my tracks up on the media page, basically all the music I write is generally listenend to when i'm browsing ATS so i thought you guys might enjoy listening to some while you browse too...

It's all chilled electronic ambient tracks really. anyway, have a listen and comment if you do check it out, if you tell me you do/don't like please tell me WHY!!!

Anyway, they are on my media page or i've linked them here. so far i've uploaded 2 tracks, I'm saving one that I made in the last couple weeks for my final music competition upload tonight!!!!

Thanks to all of the members who submitted entries to the ATS Music Contest. It's clear there is amazing talent on ATS. You have all greatly enhanced our community by your efforts.

The judges are now reviewing all of the submissions and the contest results will be announced as soon as a decision has been reached, likely by Monday evening, as it's a holiday weekend in the States.

Contestants will receive a u2u notification with a link to the ATS Music Contest results post in this thread.

Thanks to everyone for your enthusiastic participation and fantastic entries.

Well done everyone, can't wait for the next one, so what's the topic going to be? Spacey is my thing man, it's too bad I can't sing well or play anything other then guitar.

If staff does have another music competition it will be a different venue.

I'm quit pleased and surprised by the talent we have here. I know the old guys from there podcast's, so I know there style. Having newer members join in is a bonus all round.

A tip for you newer members who have your own music, you can up load them to BTS Music in the Podcast link. They pay out 2500 points.

Just wanted to say good luck to my fellow entrants. There's some great stuff in the contest, may the rockin'-est tune prevail

It has been a pleasure listening to most of the material that's been uploaded. I wish you all the best not only in the competition but for those of you that want to pursue a career in music. It's a hard road.

Scratch that. It just didn't open completely the first time I opened the page. Probably my connection...thanks AT&T for such wonderful service. For the record: the song should be about 4 minutes, 30 seconds.
