I followed the link and it only led to an error page. The address is

www.businessweek.com...

The maximum amount of the address that led to a page of the site was

www.businessweek.com...

This seems likely to have been a hack that someone noticed and corrected.

Well i saw what other sites this story was put up on and ATS was the first one to get it. If an investigation s being held we will see how well ATS protects its members (i do not think ATS should protect its' members if they ar doing somthing illegal, im just interested if they will hand over the information with just a request).

I was thinking the hacker was from the inside of Business week or McGraw Hill not ATS.

All I did was google what publisher was attached to both Business week and Boom! Studios and found they were both associated with McGraw Hill. That is just too coincidental also because "Unthinkable" comes out today and the topic is think tank conspiracy.

I don't know exactly what you are insinuating. ?

If you look real closely at the audience you can see a couple of people with cotton candy, a couple with corn dogs and I think I see a pineapple whip.

So that should clue people in that the next time they run off to see aliens land, it would probably better to swing into a Quizno's or something and get some real food, so you don't end up paying too much for that carnival crap.

I cannot believe it! I am looking at the site to see whether or not it is a hoax. What? Speechless if it is true.

Yeah this seems really weird. LOL. I wouldn't be surprised if the site was hacked. This would be ALL OVER mainstream news. It just happens to be in the innovation section of business week?

Too good to be true is what I would say. I see no such article there now. Does anyone else still see it?

Nope, it appears to be gone.

Not one line.

From John A Byrne the editor in chief of businessweek said on twitter

"The wonders of technology: Someone hacked into one of our blogs and published a post on a purported alien landing. We're investigating."

I am jumping ahead a bit here but maybe the EIC of Business Week has no clue one of his employees duped his readers or they are trying to cover it up.

Or I am completely wrong with my theory.

Well that certainly explains alot. Its a known fact that pineapple whips are a favorite of the greys. Now we can believe it!

This seems to be a classic scene from "The day the earth stood still"
I have to be skeptical about this one!

NORAD monitor's everything in the skies if a ship was attempting a landing I would think our Military would be there lickety-split.

Only thing I can think is this would be good to see how people would handle such a situation.

It seems more people panicked over hearing of the Swine Flu then Aliens

I am just trying to solve the puzzle of where and why...

I guess nobody else cares.

I never thought it was an alien landing.

Well i know it's a hoax you know it is a hoax it is just some people refuse to scroll up before posting. This is now on the main front page on ATS and it does not say HOAX in the title so it's kind of misleading.

Isn't anyone of you interesting inthe reason behind the hoax?

This site is here to uncover and to solve conspiracies, is it not?

I am, this whole thing is a real mystery. Even that this happened on a site like that should be explained in full. This isn't your average thing.

Thank you mystiq. I hope people see that just finding out that there was not a landing does not answer the q of why conspiracy theorists like us were targeted as well and not just Business Week site. We are part of thie game/think tank project.
