Swine Flu May Be Human Error, Scientist Says; WHO Probes Claim

This article was taken from Bloomberg where once of the scientists who was involved in the research that produced Tamiflu has submitted a report to the WHO suggesting that the so called swine flu was the result of a labratory experiment gone awry.

WHO are current investigating the report and deciding whether to take it further.

The World Health Organization is investigating an Australian researcher’s claim that the swine flu virus circling the globe may have been created as a result of human error. Adrian Gibbs, 75, who collaborated on research that led to the development of Roche Holding AG’s Tamiflu drug, said in an interview today that he intends to publish a report suggesting the new strain may have accidentally evolved in eggs scientists use to grow viruses and drugmakers use to make vaccines. Gibbs said that he came to his conclusion as part of an effort to trace the virus’s origins by analyzing its genetic blueprint. The World Health Organization received the study last weekend and is reviewing it, Keiji Fukuda, the agency’s assistant director-general of health security and environment, said in an interview yesterday. Gibbs, who has studied germ evolution for four decades, is one of the first scientists to analyze the genetic makeup of the virus that was identified three weeks ago in Mexico and threatens to touch off the first flu pandemic since 1968.

Wow... that's a pretty bold public statement to make. How soon until this guy is whacked and/or discredited?

I actually reckon that given his connection to the development of Tamiflu etc he knows a who lot more then he has put in his report.

I also reckon that he actually wants the truth to get out there and given his current age, 75, I don't think he is too bothered about getting whacked anymore.

Very very interesting, and the connection to Tamiflu, the neuroinsanity drug which does little or nothing for the flu, but which whacks you spiritually, compliments of Donald Rumsfeld and pals..

This rings true. That is one very couragious man to produce that report.

Now if only we can get the US Gov't to DUMP all of its reserves of Tamiflu.

You know what's interesting, is how prescient we "CT'ers" can be sometimes. This thing just felt WRONG almost from the very start, and my intuition said "inside job" when the information about it's genetic makeup came out, along with the unrelenting media hype, which someone in power has ordered stopped.

What these dark evil people like Rumsfeld and Cheney and others need to learn, is that they do not serve the world, and would be best to just die and go away, like the H1N1 virus. The world has had quite ENOUGH of their killer nonsense, and we can smell it a mile away when it starts up.
In fact, the more they screw around like this, the more people they awaken, and the faster the tsunami of mass conscious awareness approaches their machivelian machinations.

Not only does this seem like a massive error that will be foisted on us all in the form of an economic free-fall, but obviously the health of the world is less important than unloading a dangerous anti-viral before the stocks expire. I'd be surprised only I think it's impossible anymore.

A friend of mine who works at gene secuencing in Mexicos national University told me tha the H1N1 bug has bio engenieering. So its not a natural ocurrence.

BTW I am still alive with no symptoms after being exposed to teh H1N! 7 days ago!

Could you please provide more information? I would be very interested to know exactly how your friend has made this determination. I'm willing to believe it if I hear a plausible story, but quite frankly, I have a hard time believing any researcher would be able to look at any specimen and state unequivocally that it was the result of genetic engineering.

I'm no expert on the subject, but I seriously doubt that the swine flu germ has little Hoffmann–La Roche logos on its cells.

PTB (powers that be). I believe that their greatest terror is for the mass man to come into full awareness of his power, when "we" become the power that be, and all these psy-ops (psychological operations) have one thing in common, the use of fear as a tool to supress conscious awareness and increase dependancy.

I think a good idea would be to have just ONE DAY when everyone aborts all forms of mainstream media and advertising, starting by turning OFF the TV - just for one day. That would be a start in the right direction.

What would be a good name for that kind of initiative and who could kickstart that and get the butterfly effect going on it..? With the Internet, such movements CAN be started, and unleashed against the P T B. We need to let them know who's in control and who has the real power.

Would be nice except for two things. First thing is only a few have woken up from TPTB program, having there eyes opened. Secound thing would be peoples apathy. Youd have to figure out a way to keep the masses gunho for more than 1 week. If you lost the momentum it would fail after the 1 week period. The Program runs through everything. Apathy is the #1 way TPTB keep the sheeple in line. But good luck to your idea. Sad but I give it 1 in 3 of working. Since not many have woken up yet. Bummer.

Here is an article which goes into more detail. He is saying that there are both too many mutations and some specifically related to growing in eggs.

WHO is taking him seriously. He must have some reputation, because the flame war is on in the scientific circles.

One thing I can tell you is that the argument that he should have waited for peer review is bogus. If who would change their recommended reaction based on the information and it's correctness. Then they needed to know now, not if and when some committee got through with the report. Peoples lives are on the line, lots of them.

Another odd factor, is the sudden and near complete SILENCE about it in the MSM. One day, we're told one third of the whole global population is likely to get it, the next NOTHING, and still nothing, very strange that also.

It is good the degree to which every action and reaction is now under close scruntiny, thanks in no small part to the Internet.

Next time someone sees any abbreviation such TPTB OMG NWO ZOMG and doesn't know what it is or for that matter wants to check for more sources of breaking news article one word... google. use it people. please.

Gee, who could have guessed this? Well, ATS members, that's who. This thing has all the marks of human generated actions. Whether by "accident" or by just plain sloppy actions or intentional actions. The flu, as far back as I remember, doesn't work this way, at least not in the northern hemisphere. I don't recall news of people having the flu in May.
It's past time for a flu outbreak in Kentucky, but this latest outbreak is gaining momentum. Suddenly there's a confirmed case of this flu in my little town. We are not told who this person is who has the flu. It's protected information according to health officials. Meanwhile we have been assured in the local newspaper that anyone who has been in contact with this person has been advised of the contact and have been given anti-viral medicine. The authorities report the infected person is recovering at home and there is not cause for alarm. It's just a mild case of flu. So, then why give people anti-viral medicine if it's nothing to worry about?
It's all very shady feeling to me.

But, I refuse to be limited by fear. I will go out and about on the Memorial Day weekend, gas prices be damned, and have my annual cleaning of my system adventure. But I will still wonder, what is going on? Something is just not right.

I read that article this morning and it says the strain has been around for about 7-8 years so the geneticists are wondering why it's just now showing up in people.

From one side of their mouths they say that it has "bioengineered" written all over it and out of the other side of their mouths they say it just accidentally mutated in eggs and escaped the lab.

It didn't "go wild" in nature...it escaped a LAB!

The article also gives differing statistics for numbers of people infected and amount of those who have died compared to other sources for the same statistics.
