I also get tired of hearing people bash someone on the right for what they "thought" was said, when it wasn't really what was said. I heard Rush said he wanted Obama's policies or programs to fail, not the country to fail. Big difference.
By the way, I'm not a great Rush fan, and I try to read many sources before froming an opinion. It does get sickening listening to some stations give Obama a free pass on the truth. They are obviously overwhealmed by his aura. I don't think Obama would know the truth if it bit him in the a__.

Thank God we have a president who can understand a joke. The last one would have made his monkey face, not understanding.

She is a comedian and the OTs post does not in any way state its anything apart from a comical strip. (despite a HUGE attempt to make it out as so)

Get a grip, shes a comedian not a ;woosh!!; terrorist, or etc. She says jokes to get a laugh. Honestly the seriously believers of 'sinister activity' are going to be severely disappointed...

Ok sure this is ATS and we must all find flaws within everything... But honestly the responses everyone is bringing to state hes some 'evil' man are bordering on pure stupidity.

HONESTLY while he could be some really evil, satanic worshipping dude... From what im seeing he is either;

1. Genuine
2. Genuine, yet controlled like a puppet by the so said evil 'd00ds' who only tell him what he needs to know in order to talk to the populace without fear/etc.

Seriously, at the most, Obama is just a pawn, thinking he is in control, and maybe not at all. But Obama is not evil, maybe the puppeteers controlling him, if any exist, but in no way is he evil. Trust me.

two wrongs don't make a right, Rush said this, and Bush did that, doesn't excuse unacceptable behavior,

I am sorry to say some democrats are some of the most mean spirited people I have ever seen, especially after how they crucified Palin.

of course I guess this shouldn't surprise me when I take into consideration the killing of the unborn is their most important political platform.

Except for his demonic fury with which he denounced everything that seemed to alleviate my dark picture of mankind... That was the hallmark of a true raging Nazi. (Matter of fact, he could be a reincarnation of Herman Goering... no, he is fat enough but Goering reportedly had better humor.)

To the topic of the 'joke' .... eh ... wasn't funny to me, but obviously it was to others. As long as those others also laugh when a commedian tells jokes that include the death of a democrat ... no problem.

Nice joke, just as off-color and funny as Wanda's. I can't believe things like this become split along party lines. I am a registered Republican, very Conservative, yet I voted for Obama, and can't stand to hear Rush Limbaugh speak. Either way, the joke was funny, and I didn't hear her call for his death. She pointed out an obvious drug problem.

I think the joke you just mentioned was far more threatening than Wanda's or that "Abort Obama" bumper sticker that got someone arrested.

The good thing in your joke, is you can plug and play any two celebrities/politicians into that joke and it will still be funny, and you can pick who gets offended!!

Didn't Hillary catch a lot of flack for mentioning the possibility of Obama not making it through the campaign? It was a real concern, the most Secret Service ever used, and yet for her to bring it up that fact was inflammatory to some.
