Which is exactly what I was thinking.

I think if you find "amazing" footage these days that there is no way to truly rule out CGI, it's just absurd. The only footage I'd say is of any real credibility (genuine or not) is NASA footage. I can't see it any other way.

As with other videos of this kind this one smells fishy. At first it looks legit but the tell tale to these fakes is the way the ufo shoots off at the end. I have seen countless fake videos that use the very same effect or technique if you like. It just doesn't look realistic in my eyes. I have seen some fantastic videos and can smell the good from the bad.

This one is bad.....

Here's another approach to the departure

(click to open player in new window)

What so many people don't seem to realize is how easy it is to make a hoax UFO video.

In this one there is NO discrepancies between surroundings, camera movement and UFO movements.

The video is done in two stages where stage one is a tripod HD footage where I overlay the UFO. Keyframing and masking makes the UFO seem the right size.
Another layer takes care of the "behind the sign and branch" part.

Add sound, narration, exitement and a parting sonic boom. Yeah.

Then you make stage two where you crop the image and add movement key frames as well as linear blur and other goodies.

This took three hours to make.

I purposely left in tell tale signs because I don't want this to end up on a UFO site as genuine.

Whenever there is no sound in a UFO, it is probably fake. Cutting the audio makes it much easier to fake obviously as you don't have to worry about creating a separate audio line with your video.

100% fake. Sorry. Nice tho.

I'm tired.. so maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me. But it looks like it comes slowly closer to him/her so he/she starts to zoom out, then the object zips back a little and then shoots off to the left. If you look closely when it "zips back" it looks like some kinda shock wave comes off the craft. Then again when it makes it exit.. looks just like some kinda shock wave. It is hard to see.. or again my eyes are playing tricks on me. Maybe its a effect of the zooming? Very interesting video too bad its so hard to fake these things now.

Do they make these videos for a CGI class or whatever and get graded on views?

OP i noticed the first picture on the article is the same as your avatar, which you have had for some time, so i can't help but wonder, are you responsible for that web page? is that why your saying its absolutely real and couldn't be CGI or anything else besides aliens? sorry but this video was no more impressive then the 20,000 other videos almost identical to it.

This is CGI, I'm sure I'll be flammed for that, but that's expected, the truth hurts.

All days fade and change as part of the great ancient, stay patient and let go of your complacent face. The nascent sleeper has vacant features. All to gather now. Under stand, band to gather.

I think it is a very good shot myself, clear with background stuff so we can judge distance, etc.
Not exactly, we can only know that it was farther than the building, there is no way of knowing at what distance it was.

Those who believe will just continue to, and those that are on a mission to destroy will keep doing that.
You forgot those that just want to separate the wheat from the chaff.

the fact is when we have a video of ufo not good we doubt and when we have a good one we doubt
we turn around !!! and when i watch the exemple video of holgerthedane i have no doubt that's a fake one, this ufo piloted by a drunken alien

the good exemple it's this video

most of comments on youtube talk about a cgi ufo but the only expert an italian one i think who made an analysis of this video say that not a fake one , but it's so incredible to see it so clearly people keep going to say it's a fake.

Absence of first and last name of the cameraman ... [x] checked
Absence of eyewitnesses .......................................[x] checked
YouTube member joined right before uploading the video, then mysteriously vanished............................................[x] checked
One line, nebulous description of the video...............[x] checked
FLAT appearance of the UFO, clear sign that the kid is still FAR from learning the basics of 3d imageering and their implementation in techniques like post production ...............................[x] checked
Lack of media coverage..........................................[x] checked
Convenient position of the UFO at the start of the video so its vanishing is easier to create because all you have to do is to create a mask with the same shape of the building and send the UFO behind it (just three frames, we have a LAZY hoaxter this time)...........................[x] checked

Professional analysis on THIS? I HOPE that no one of those i know will spend even just one minute on this; this type of CGI was already in use much time ago with software that today is called primitive: so basically some kid craving attention spends his time to create an animation and some serious people have to WASTE their time on this crap? Gimme a break.
Here, same category:

FLAT, do you see that what you are looking at is FLAT?
This happens whenever one is unable to use maya or alternative 3d modelling software.

What they would get if the only would spend their time in studying would be something like this:

NO, there is no time to "analyze" this crap. Let's wait and see what the youtube kid will be able to provide corroborating the sighting, ok?

It doesn't bother the believers of this fake video that the building is very clear yet the ufo is blurry. When he closes in, the building blurs yet the ufo stays the same, blurry. Also he is catching this supposed great find on camera but at the end decides to veer away from the supposed craft?
and people wonder why hoaxers do what they do.

the twin tower ufo was an admitted fake. boy you did your research there huh?
As much as I would love for a video to surface that is real and clear, this is not it in my opinion.
Everything is focused but the object. even when they "try" to focus on the object it does not have the detail as the rest of the video. Nothing about it seems real. I could be wrong, but this screams fake to me.

I guess I feel I should post this to either the OP or anyone seriously interested in Ufology.

Why Do People Do This?

OP,I am not saying you intentionally knew this,or your other video(from the other thread) was a hoax, but at least do some research before posting stuff here.

Maybe you are very eager to believe,I don't know,I too sometimes get to eager, like just now in your thread.I have been waiting for something new to come about in Ufology and saw the video(which is obviously fake) and just acted and for a second thought it was legit.Thats my fault, maybe I need to step back a little bit myself..........Should you do the same?

Anyone see the old TV series "V"?
Looks similar to the OPs craft.

They're remaking a new version, maybe its connected?
Test footage?
Google V remake.
Throwing in my two cents...

Well It does look convincing but lets look at some facts we got here. The man is in an empty shopping mall with a camera. He starts of the camera pointing at the ground so he is not filming for any other reason but for the capture of the UFO. If he did notice the UFO it would be unlikely to have a camera with such quality on the spot. Although he could have brought it from home, came to the mall and then captured it. For a quality camera not to much detail is visible on the UFO, making this less credible. It makes me wonder even more if this is real because its coming from the least credible news source (--).
