Again, more Jibberish for the biblically brainwashed, trying to rationalize ancient text and ancient generalizations into the fulfillment of prophecy for the modern day Christian addict.
When are you people going to realize that the bible alone cannot logically explain or fortify any argument- one needs different sources from the same period; to be objective. And ......stop-press; not all of us follow your religion.

St. Marks feast day is April 25. It's a CATHOLIC feast day to honor the author of the gospel of St. Mark. There are thousands of God's saints that the Catholic Church honors in this manner.

That's not a pagan feast day.
That's not a satanic feast day.

This list is bogus.

Something I came across with a similar feel in some ways.

At the end of March Mexico begun a campaign which has destroyed a number of public shrines to La Santa Muerte (Saint Death) who seems to be a syncretic form of the Aztec goddess Mictecacihuatl.

Sorry if this is off topic, I don't tend to look at things from this point of few as to superstitions or religious ways so if this is off topic I am again sorry.

The word "pagan" (lowercase p) has traditionally been used, for centuries, to mean anyone who is not Christian, Jewish, or Muslim -- and, yes, the word "pagan" in this sense does include Satanists It also includes atheists.

You guys are soooooo critical. Don't shoot the messenger.

The original meaning of Pagan is not as you mention above. It means something like "hill billy" / "lower end of society people", was originally used by the Catholics to insult the people that believed in Egyptian / Greek gods, etc to try to make them look bad or stupid.
That's what i have read anyway in "the Secret Teaching of all Ages" by Manly P Hall.
Is an awesome book by the way, still trying to get through it.

yes Catholicism/Christianity has always had a history of political control, also ridicule and denial of other faiths and religious practice.....after-all its was part-designed and approved by Emperor Constantine; as an attempt to preserve the already declining roman empire.
Anything that opposed or took power from the church was (and still is) labeled, with negative connotations ie Pagan, infidel, satanic, witch-craft etc..

Here is the revelation of the prophet Esdras, it is from the pseudepigraphia which date roughly from the same period and concerning the same imformation. The discription of the antichrist is somewhat at a variance to that found in such cult films as "The Omen" movies. And I asked: Who is this? And he said to me: This is he who said, I am the Son of God, that made stones bread, and water wine. And the prophet said: My lord, let me know what is his form, and I shall tell the race of men, that they may not believe in him. And he said to me: The form of his countenance is like that of a wild beast; his right eye like the star that rises in the morning, and the other without motion; his mouth one cubit; his teeth span long; his fingers like scythes; the track of his feet of two spans; and in his face an inscription, Antichrist. He has been exalted to heaven; he shall go down to Hades. 22 At one time he shall become a child; at another, an old man. And the prophet said: Lord, and how dost Thou permit him, and he deceives the race of men? And God said: Listen, my prophet. He becomes both child and old man, and no one believes him that he is my beloved Son. And after this a trumpet, and the tombs shall be opened, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible. 23 Then the adversary, hearing the dreadful threatening, shall be hidden in outer darkness. Then the heaven, and the earth, and the sea shall be destroyed. Then shall I burn the heaven eighty cubits, and the earth eight hundred cubits.

Why do they associate paganism with satanism?

Obviously this was taken from the mind of a complete and utter, not to mention ignorant, nut case

Mayday indeed

I'm Pagan, and was appalled when I read this! No wonder we get a bad reputation, from people like you!! Do not associate Satanism with my Goddess! I do not believe in Satan nor Christianity, making the two religions worlds apart! Do your research from more than one website or read a book. Beltane is today...May 1st....not April 30th. Don't associate their days with my sabbats...

Well people I am not a follower of any religion, I tend to read about ALL religions. Before you flame me, I suggest you read up on what these days mean to other religions besides yours. Yours is not the only one you know. These days have different meanings for different people. I did not write the info just passing along. I am sorry if it offends your faith, this was not the intent.

April 19 is the first day of the 13-day Satanic ritual day relating to fire — the fire god, Baal, or Moloch/Nimrod (the Sun God), also known as the Roman god, Saturn (Satan/Devil). This day is a major human sacrifice day, demanding fire sacrifice with an emphasis on children. This day is one of the most important human sacrifice days, and as such, has had some very important historic events occur on this day.

April 26 - May 1: Corpus De Baal (body of Baal)

* "DATE: Apr. 21-26, CELEBRATION: Preparation for the sacrifice. DATE: Apr. 26-May 1, CELEBRATION: Grand Climax, TYPE: Da Muer, USAGE: Corpus De Baahl, AGE: 1-25 (female)".

NOTE: This is an attempt on the part of Frattarola to associate the Pagan celebration of Beltaine to Satanic ritual activities. One of the reasons that Frattarola probably has created a week long Satanic festival around this date is that April 30 is also Walpurgisnacht.

There is that term "Da Muer" again. "Corpus De Baahl" is a Latin phrase meaning "body of Baahl". This is probably a reference to the mythical entity Baal that you frequently encounter in literature by people like this. It is probably meant as a corruption of "Corpus Christi" ("body of Christ").

EVE of Beltane

April 30th - Walpurgisnacht - High Satanic Sabbat Eve of Beltane. Propitious for pacts, initiations and high satanic magick. For the Temple of Baphomet initiation/dedication ritual format click here. For a solitary version of La Messe Noire or the Black Mass click here. Founding date of Church of Satan.

Historically Walpurgisnacht (or Hexennacht, meaning Witches' Night) is derived from Pagan spring customs, where the arrival of spring was celebrated with bonfires at night. Traditionally the date of the sabbat is the evening of April 30 running to the morning of May 1st, or Beltane and is when witches would hold a large sabbat on the Blocksberg and await the arrival of

Beltane begins at sundown on the evening of, April 30. This custom originates with the Celts who always figured their days from sundown to sundown. Sundown was the time when Druid priests lit the Baal-fires on the tops of hills.

May 1: May Day Satanic New Year's Day

May 1st - Beltane Fire Festival The old Celtic name for May Day is Beltane, in its most popular neo-pagan form, which is derived from the Irish Gaelic Bealtaine or the Scottish Gaelic Bealtuinn, meaning “Bel-fire”, the fire of the Celtic God Bel. He, in turn, may be traced to the Middle Eastern God Ba'al.

The truth is that from Baal and Bel is derived the English word "Bull". The Beltane Festival is the Bull Festival. Ba'al as a possible focus of this ritual or festival could be suggested. Fire is still the most important element of most Beltane celebrations and there are many traditions associated with it. It is seen to have purifying qualities which cleanse and revitalise. People leap over the Beltane fire to bring good fortune, fertility and happiness through the coming year.

Beltane is the most overtly sexual pagan festival. The tradition of dancing round the maypole contains sexual imagary and is still very popular with modern Pagans.

You should read more carefully. It says EVE of Beltane. This is why I don't follow ANY religion. All of you are so defensive about it, no matter which one you follow. Open your eyes. I do not look down on anyone because of the faith they believe in and am not trying to put you down. So relax. One of my best friends is Wiccan.

edit to add: my mistake the OP says Beltane not Eve of Beltane. That said, the Eve of Beltane is a satanic ritual date. Flynn messed that one up.

Excuse me but Beltane isn't satanic and May 1st is a celebration to Freya. If the world ends it ends, but I am sick of Christians posting about crap they know nothing about.

Instead of worrying about the anti christ, maybe you should think about how to appease your God instead.

Christians spend too much time calling other religions Satanic and wishing for their own destruction.

I am so sick of defending myself. Maybe you should read the entire thread before to throw titles around. All religion is the downfall of the Human race. This thread just proves it. Don't you see what your "faith" does, it makes you a "faithist" to anything you do not believe in.

I don't thats what their religion tells them to do. Jesus is coming to kill everyone and the chosen will be reborn. Everything that isn't God is satan.

I'm not saying they are doing it wrong. i just hate the fact that it has to be that way.

Pagan =/= Satanic

Easy to understand.
Beltane (incorrect spelling btw) is simply pagan celebration of begining of summer.

If pagan celebrations are satanic we'd better quit Christmas and Easter.

Thank God (other than the christian god (whatever that is)), someone actually sees the screen!!
Yes, I wonder how many Christians realize; when decorating their "Christmas" trees, they are little known engaging in a PAGAN ritual. LMFAO.
I'm sure that will be rationalized in some way- if not the usual method is ridicule/denial.
Keep decorating your trees and paying homage to the GREEN-MAN; an ancient Anglo God of fertility- may your crops yield for the following year!
This is always a great lead-up to Yule-tide!!!

I hope you really don't think this is the "event that sets the NWO/Antichrist into motion"........do you?

I mean I guess it is worth mentioning, but it is not compelling, nor serious enough for me.
