As there have been no fatalities outside of Mexico, it seems that the majority of those deaths were due to failed treatment or late diagnosis. Is that what everyone else is thinking?

Obviously this can be successfully treated, and as there have been no deaths beyond Mexico, it's either due to poor or late treatment, or sheer numbers of those infected in Mexico.

I want to share with you once again the information about the trucks supposed to carry the flu on board. here it is and I think it starts to make sense now:

www.abovetopsecret.com...

we have already the FEMA camps and coffins ready. we had Biden and others predicting some troubles ahead. we have Panasonic workers called home. we could hear the Alex warnings. we have financial crises and it can be easly linked as well (epidemia can be a response to it or as well can be a cause of it) and we have a NWO which needs a HUGE 911 again to kick off.

I am waiting only to hear that the epidemia was caused by the "man made" global warming and than we will make all of THEM completly happy.

frankly, if it is not a planned action I belive that it will not hit us badly. I would even say that not as badly as a common flu hits us every year. but if all above is a evidence for something else... than help us God.

from Australia

www.aussmc.org...

some highlights

Professor Mark Von Itzstein is director of the Centre for Glycomics at Griffith University in Queensland.
In the context of how it can be transmitted it’s obvious now to us that human to human transmission appears to be a significant pathway, that is this virus has acquired the right machinery to transmit human to human.

Lvl4 then at least

Professor Raina (pronounced “r-i-nah”) MacIntyre is Professor of Infectious Diseases Epidemiology and Head of the School of Public Health and Community Medicine at the University of NSW. She sits on the Scientific Influenza Advisory Group to the Chief Medical Officer of Australia and is an expert in influenza and emerging infectious diseases.

“The outbreak of swine flu in humans has come as a bit of a surprise because everyone has been concerned about avian influenza being the source of the next pandemic.

???????

Professor Beverley Raphael from the University of Western Sydney’s School of Medicine, heads a specialist research unit which tackles the mental health issues associated with adversities such as disasters, terrorism and pandemic influenza.

"Studies have shown that the majority of people will respond positively and well should any health threat occur such as a new form of influenza. Numerous studies of human behaviour in the face of such threats have shown that people are altruistic, respond positively to health requirements, and even though they may be concerned for themselves and loved ones, do not panic."

Really ! I expect panic buying any time soon.

My company deals with many hospitals including Monklands, and in a phone call this morning from the hospital they told us it had been confirmed as swine flu.
I dont know why it took that long for the hospital to issue a statement just now after the 6 o'clock news?

The issue is if health services become overwhelmed, then people won't get treated, that is the danger - and of course the fact that it is all over the news and frankly sounding very damn scary will cause people to overwhelm medical services. I know the government knows this, which is why I am surprised that it's being reported as it is in the msm. This COULD turn into a panic, which would be worse then the flu itself - imagine thousands going to ER because they have the sniffles.

Again, this is a news and updates thread. Can you not take your wild NWO accusations into one of the hundred other threads linking this to everything from the NWO to terrorism?
Apart from there being absolutely no evidence for anything other than a natural occurrence of a pandemic (which we are overdue for), this thread isn't about the conspiracies people are coming up with. Not everything is about the bloody NWO!

Sorry to be harsh, but it does become incredibly annoying when you can't have a decent discussion without some NWO fanatic jumping in.

BACK ON TOPIC...

This is all moving very quickly, it'll be interesting to see what the WHO says after their meeting. I'd be surprised if they don't knock this up to a level 4 scenario.

the cdc is more or less saying we should not feel assured their have been no deaths or fatalities. This their fore tells me they are foreseeing fatalities. I would try to keep my opinion out of the news we are getting on this illness yet I would not in charector cancel out fatalities from this illness that is what the cdc is trying to convey from what I can perceive. Won't call it dire, but I think... they are waiting to see, if something happens, they are expecting to happen. I know this topic is almost at 900 replies or what not so I wanna try to stay on topic and not get the moderators riled up but this is scary stuff, and I hope we keep this news thread up for awhile, I appreciate everyones feed back, whether we agree its a big deal or not, it is just growing and blowing up!! Into one heck of a story.. What I mean, is if and when we get a reported fatality outside of Mexico, the story will change, Quickly.. I don't wanna be the guy that gets it outside Mexico and dies...

"MEXICO CITY (AP) — Mexico's government is ordering closed schools nationwide as the suspected death toll from swine flu climbed to 149.

Health Secretary Jose Angel Cordova says only 20 of the deaths have been confirmed to be from swine flu and the government was awaiting tests results on the rest.

He says 1,995 people have been hospitalized with serious cases of pneumonia since the first case of swine flu was reported on April 13. The government does not yet know how many were swine flu.

Of those hospitalized, 1,070 have been released.

Cordova says school at all levels nationwide are suspended until May 6"

I have to agree. Something is not being said.

The other thing that is quite noticeable -
and something that I have been tracking and mentioned on another thread -
Is the mere number of people with symptoms suffering from "respiratory" -
"allergy" issues - coughs and colds - itchy watery eyes - heavy mucus -
that are not part of the "flu".

This kind of low-grade yet continuous illness has been going around
the planet for a very long time - in a very large portion of the population.
These symptoms are also showing up in many species of wildlife.
Many people unable to get rid of symptoms for up to a year or more.
I think this is of major importance.

I am not buying that this is a "new" flu.
I am leaning more toward the idea that it is a continuation
of something that our bodies have already been subjected to.
These very symptoms have been present in many of our bodies in a
low grade way for a very long time.

Just saying. Not buying it - at least not in the way it is being presented.

Just stay in your homes and it will blow over, then a earthquake! This is so unfair, what better way to get you out of your home and talking to neighbors than this.

From what I can tell there has been no deaths outside of Mexico, this has to be a encouraging sign, or is it too early to call yet.

I still think we are in trouble starting next Oct. going into winter. This will spread worldwide, it just remains to see how deadly it will be.

Germany have found three suspected cases of swine flu, local health authorities confirmed on Monday.

Two men from the western German city of Bielefeld, both just returning from Mexico, have shown swine flu symptoms and have been in quarantine in a local hospital, said Peter Schmid, deputy director of the Bielefeld Health Bureau. A nurse who has taken care of one of them may have also been infected.

Google live map

Nurses and doctors are starting to become infected now in Europe. A worrying sign.

Oh I absolutely understand that. I just wanted to shed some light on why people are dieing in Mexico and not in other countries.

I'll admit that some of the rhetoric on Sky is becoming a little alarmist. They're banging on about "Britain now infected!!!!!" which isn't helpful.

But, I think we'd manage a panic on that front quite well. They'd set up local clinics to sift through genuine cases. A lot of it can be done over the phone accurately. Primarily, right now, only those returning from Mexico and those in direct contact with them are affected, so discounting all others is quite easy right now.

As soon as there is transference from a hospital into the wider population, then it will become a more dangerous panic situation.
