I'd bet my house that the figure is much higher, if not, triple.

Highly likely.. I mean, they (the MSM) are telling people to "stay home" if they are experiencing symptoms...

This is exactly what I mean about overkill.... The headline is " Swine flu: twenty-five possible cases reported in Britain"
The bullitin text is as follows.......... In a statement to the Commons, Alan Johnson said that three patients were undergoing specialist testing and another 14 were being monitored at home. None has yet been confirmed as suffering from the virus.
Eight people who came forward with swine flu-like symptoms have been shown not to have the condition, which has now killed more than 100 people in Mexico.
Question?...what are they playing at. This is scaremongering in the extreme !

Maybe I am unaware of viruses 'mating' in the manner that would require the sharing of genetic information.
en.wikipedia.org...
The new strain appears to be a recombinant between two older strains. Preliminary genetic characterization found that the hemagglutinin (HA) gene was similar to that of swine flu viruses present in U.S. pigs since 1999, but the neuraminidase (NA) and matrix protein (M) genes resembled versions present in European swine flu isolates. Viruses with this genetic makeup had not previously been found to be circulating in humans or pigs, but there is no formal national surveillance system to determine what viruses are circulating in pigs in the U.S.[29]
The '29' in the wikipedia page links to this article from the CDC:
www.cdc.gov...
On April 17, 2009, CDC determined that two cases of febrile respiratory illness occurring in children who resided in adjacent counties in southern California were caused by infection with a swine influenza A (H1N1) virus. The viruses from the two cases are closely related genetically, resistant to amantadine and rimantadine, and contain a unique combination of gene segments that previously has not been reported among swine or human influenza viruses in the United States or elsewhere. Neither child had contact with pigs; the source of the infection is unknown.
I am feeling a bit perturbed that this looks like some sort of bio-terrorism....

Edit to Add: I reread my post, and I don't make it clear that I am in support of the OP. I didn't mean to make it seem like I was the only one. I guess what I should say is 'I Agree, and this is why'
Also, I think looking at how Tamiflu resistant strains are running rampant:
www.cdc.gov...
On December 19, 2008, CDC issued interim guidance for health care professionals on the use of influenza antiviral medications this flu season. The guidance was issued in response to early data from a limited number of states indicating that a high proportion of influenza A (H1N1) viruses are resistant to the influenza antiviral medication oseltamivir (Tamiflu®). Worldwide, the proportion of H1N1 viruses that are resistant to oseltamivir has been increasing so this development is not surprising.
