no watch the one i posted a page or teo ago, if it is one just found showing the police using a batton hitting him very hard once, before the shove. It also shows before the batton hit, the man was just walking, doing nothing.

go back a page or two and you can see a link i put from channel4

you will see them doing him for nothing

Not to say the officer was correct in what he did, obviously. But that's for the inquiry & CPS to decide and not the professional victims inhabiting this thread.

Those are very cold, heartless and callous things to say. People with your attitude is why this world is such an uncaring dog eat dog place.

He's a coward because:

1. The guy had his hands in his pockets.
2. The guy was moving slowly out of the way.
3. The guy looked a bit confused as to which direction the officers wanted him to go.
4. The guy was not physically well built or muscular....kind of wimpy looking in fact.
5. He did nothing to provoke the cop.
6. The crowd is not interfering with the police in that video when the attack took place.
7. The crowd is not a threat in that video, even after the guy received the cowardly death blow the crowd was still not a threat.
8. The cop attacked the man from behind for no reason at all.

1 to 8 above (not necessarily a complete list) makes that cop, a coward.

hhhhmm my point still stands we have no idea what happened 30 seconds before the vid started, now think of the press they like to see violent stuff, agree or disagree??? it sells papers gets in viewers, so why was the camera pointed in his direction?? we still dont know what happened BEFOREthis very short clip, for all we know he could have been hurling abuse brick etc at the cops. All i am saying is we cant label that officer a coward or a killer unless we have ALL the facts, if it turns out he was a guy just walking past then fair enough the officer should do jail time but not for murder(come on i have been hit harder and pushed to the ground on a saturday night and survived) but we dont have all the facts!!! lets just leave it to the CPS.

I got all the facts I need. That guy was no threat. The cop went out of his way to lay the smack down on him from behind. He's a coward where I come from.

Ok mate you obviously have a blinkered view on life and refused to see outside the box. i have one question for you, if i showed you one video of the d day landings would you say that was a unprovoked attack on europe by the US and allied forces? coz all you can see is allied troops storming the beaches and killing germans..but i am pretty sure you would as you have the benefit of knowledge gained by history and further evidence...its to sonn to judge and label. just lets wait and see and not judge someone by one short clip.

peace and respect.

I've been posting, and thinking about this for a while, and I'm actually going to jump in and DEFEND the police involved at the G20 here.

Yes, they were out of line, and yes, I am all for being prepared for when (not if) it happens again. But, you must understand that they all take orders from someone. And it is that person who should be held responsible.
We get fed all sorts of propaganda, yet we assume the Police are free-willed and act as murderers because they want to. Most likely they are brainwashed to believe we are out to get them, using the minority that are, as an example.

So, to summarise, while we must defend ourselves, we must;
A) not become them, and
B) hold those in charge responsible for the actions of those below them. (The exception being the copper who IS responsible of manslaughter.)

There is something strange about this whole issue going on in Britain. British cops traditionally don't even carry guns unless they work in a high crime area, when did this pattern start?

The weekend just gone, my mates son (about 18) was spending Saturday night on the xbox playing a war game.

At some point in the evening he saw flashlights outside and the next minute armed police burst into his home pointing their weapons at him.

Needless to say he shat his pants, apparently one of the neighbors had heard gunfire (presumably the xbox) and phoned the bill.

There is a funny side to the tale however, when I asked the kid what went through his mind at the time they burst in waving their weapons, he dryly replied -
"Well it's not the sort of thing you'd expect of a Saturday night" priceless !

Oh Andy, please go and seek help.

You rant and rave about the Police being murderers because they "ruined your life" (begs the question how you manage to post on a forum if you're dead, but hey ho...), but provide no detail or evidence to back up your wild claims. Last week you claimed the police secretly video tape our kids in the bath as they're all peodophiles, this week they're all murderer's.

You just come across as someone who is unstable. I've told you before (last year?) that if the police harrassed you for no reason, then a complaint to the IPCC would have sorted it quickly, but you obviously haven't complained to them. Could this be because you're either making it up or are actually guilty of what they accused you of?

Bottom line is that the IPCC are investigating this as a criminal case, have identified and suspended the officer in question and have ordered a fresh autopsy. What more do you want? Allow justice to take it's course.

If your claims are anything to be believed, then you should understand the damage that can be caused by not following the correct path to Justice...

Your rants and raves about the Police being "evil scum" and how they ruined your life, backed up with nothing and with no detail provided to try and convince us, are growing quite wearisome.

The police officer who pushed the innocent bystander to the floor should face trial for manslaughter - thats just standard. If any member of the public carried out the same action, they would be straight in jail ... its not fair and it is double standards.

I would be surprised if that action is taken against the officer however. When such an incident occurs the police tend to close ranks, and so will make it hard for a fellow officer to be prosecuted, thats how they work. I know several officers who have left the police on moral grounds after seeing truly what it is like working for the MET. I also know a serving police officer who has told me similiar things.

I think this incident - however tragic - has brought to light exactly what the police can be like. I personally have had far more negative dealings with the police than positive. And no im not a criminal by any stretch of the imagination, but for example when attending football matches, the police are VERY heavy handed and often get their "intelligence" so very wrong, and being overly oppressive.
