Please if you have time, can you have a think about the top three threats to your current way of life and post them, I would be fascinated to see what you englightened people have used your wisdom on.

My three are

1 Global Reccession causing social collapse
2 Islamic expansion and western appeasement of Islam
3 Food and fuel shortages caused by Russia and the Middle East.

Kinda like yours .. but expanded a bit

1 Global Reccession engineered purposely by the NWO
- this includes your food and fuel shortages which WILL happen.
- this includes massive lay offs.
- this includes 'nationalization' of private industry. (ATLAS WILL SHRUG)
- this includes upcoming 'wealth redistribution' and UN poverty tax.
(wealth redistribution - which Obama just looooooooves)
- etc

2- Obamas policies destroying our economics and our soverignty,
- which will put us at the mercy of the Chinese who are buying our debt
- which put us at the mercy of his NWO puppet masters who want the one global currency, etc

3 - Lack of Border Security.
- None of our elected officials - (be they Obama, Bush43, Clinton, Bush41, Reagan, Carter, Ford, Nixon ... etc) have secured our borders. Criminals come across the border in droves. Illegals cost our economy BILLIONS.

2. Islamic Terrorism and far-right British racist groups (really, they are two sides of the same coin, and they will both affect my life for the worse).

Disease, a pandemic, perhaps a virulant flu that humans have no resistance to and that jumps species. A scientific experiment that goes askew, The supercollider starts a fire that can't be put out, the oceans solidify because of scientific tampering. Societal collapse because of senseless greed of people who already have more than they and their families can ever spend. Terrorism is and always has been way down on the list, probably wouldn't make the top 100.

1. Religious fundamentalism of any type that divides the world into good and evil.

2. Materialism and acquisition of wealth as core value of any society.

3. Single women desperately looking for husbands.

Okay, so #3 is just a personal threat, not a general one.

1) living in a society with ignorant fools
2) government paid truthers, cannot stand them, even if they know or do not know they work for the government
3) People running or trying to run your life, with mind control and herd control

(1) Depression which will result in further: food shortages, mass unemployment, civil unrest and brown smelly stuff hitting the fan which in return will lead to (2)
(2) Major conflict/war (in addition to the current conflicts) and subsequent attacks by "terrorists" against our country.
(3) UK essential services, water, gas, fuel etc being severly disrupted.

As always, you are astute and insightful.

Right now, I have few worries for the short term. We live in the country and are both still gainfully employed (hopefully this will last). We have stocked up pretty well, and are going with a big garden this year.

So, the problems that I can see that would wreck my life, would pretty much wreck most of society first.

1.) Some sort of general societal collapse. I don't see this as a sudden event with headlines in the news, I see this as a slow descent into a sever depression. Of course if we head down that path, I'll expand my efforts both in stockpiling more food and necessities and also in my experiments in being self sufficient.

2.) Pandemic. Always, in the way back of my mind, is the fear of a global pandemic. We have huge crowded cities. I worry that some disease will either sneak out of some third world county or get out of a military lab with disastrous results. I try to be prepared both for myself but also family and friends, but who is your friend if there is a killer bug on the lose.

3.) People. I think that the vast majority of people are decent and that a minority of people are amoral. However, it seems to me that the percentage of amoral people is increasing. I think that our society exist because most people are moral. What happens if we get too many people without respect for others? Do we have more police? Do we use the military? Right now, our cities would be overwhelmed if the scumbags all decided to confront the police in force. This could lead to the general societal collapse.


So, for all those who frequent the survival thread, keep preparing.

1. Individual Freedom and common law rights being severly curtailed.
1a The police state that pervades the UK now.
1b The potential for a NWO control over everyday life etc

2. Socialism, dumbed down populace and ignorance shown by them.
2a The lack of self sufficiency in general.
2b Mob-mentality present in the UK.

3. The high level of Current Gun Control in the certain countries. Namely the UK, Australia and so on.

1-EMP attack. In my opinion this is the most dangerous thing that could happen. It would cause instant total collapse, 90% of the population would be dead within 1 month of it happening.

2-The Global Elite Bankers. These guys have enslaved us, and pose a huge threat to freedom the world over.

3-Nuclear War. We are closer to it now than ever before sans the cuban missile crisis.

1, The colapse of life as we know it. Not as much as i'm worried about me and my family as i am about all the nut jobs that are asleep and will suddenly all awake at once and be in a panic state.

2. The coming food shortage, due to the drouts and farm aid cuts around the globe. We will be ok, but that means i will have to defend our food supply and crop from poachers or risk total looting and not have enough for our family and friends.

Close tie with 3). Yellowstone caldera eruption or similar super-geological event. Not sudden pole-shifts, credible events.

Erm EMP only affects electromagnetic circuitry and electronics, and EMP attack would only kill people with pace makers or people flying in unshielded air craft.
