Yeah, I've heard gun ownership is a big fat no-no there. I've got a friend that used to be a Territorial Ranger, or something like that, in the southwest part of OZ, and he said that a lot of the guns never came out of the outback, and are still in use there. I couldn't say, just going on what he told me. I've also heard, and don't know if it's true or not, that you folks can't even import BB guns. Is that for real, or was my leg just getting pulled?

That is fact you can not even own one unless your a member of a club and you have a firearms licence, and no way can you import one with out being an owner of a gun shop with a special permit to import.

To have a firearm in Chicago is against the law, yes thanks in part to Obama, our former senator, i'm clueless on most bullet related matters. Maybe some of you "gun nuts/connesseurs" could share your collective wisdom on the subject at my thread The Great Gun Rush? Pictures of your babies would also be a nice touch, along with commentary of course. Most appreciated and many thanks in advance.

See if i told you that... i'd have to kill ya

With all of this talk about a complete financial collapse, it's crossed my mind on a couple occasions, that having a gun could come in handy, especially in a city. Last week i came across a very interesting 60 Minutes segment on gun sales/regulations that i prepped, uploaded and created a thread for. Though it would be a great opportunity for me to get some insights from behind the gun.
