I used the one with the dog as an avatar until I quit that job. That's probably where you've seen it before. I also used to use the one in the Pakistani mufti as an avatar for a while.

Lower left corner has part of a live toy poodle. The poodles belong to my wife... HONEST! My dogs are he-man dogs... Wolf hybrid german shepherds running at around 125 lbs (female) and 140 lbs (male)... and of course there's a little 3 pound maltese foo foo dog that has for some odd reason attached herself to me... I know not why. Come to think of it, one of the missuses standard poodles sleeps on the floor on MY side of the bed... probably stays there to protect me, knowing I'm incapable of protecting myself...

Oh, and the picture with the American Bulldog - that was taken when I went out to eastern North Carolina on hurricane duty after hurricane Isabelle blew through and tore the place up. A lot of folks just turned their critters loose to fend for themselves, and that dog was a stray that just came up to my post and took up with me. He was pretty well taken care of, but had no collar. I called him 'Beggar'. I talked some of the folks around there into putting him on the radio before I left, and he was adopted within 6 hours. Otherwise, I guess he'd be here with me now too.

Great pic! Is that a Burmese Python? Whatever he is, he's lovely.....


And so are you! *cheesy grin for looking at the 'nake first!*


I have a red tailed boa, but he's not as big as that. About 6 feet. I hope he's never as big as that, to tell the truth....

Spot on!

The older Pythons get the less aggresive they become, also I do a bit of venomous relocations for the National Parks & Wildlife here in Oz in my spare time and was a volunteer for Wildlife Rescue as well.

Also I have a few native Diamond Pythons and Lizards etc.

I called him THOR once. I'm still limping. The little one, in the lower left... now she'd really hurt ya. She just died a couple months ago, at 14 years old. Age did NOT improve her temperament. I should never have trained her in ninjitsu...

I had to modify that AK, starting with a Romanian SAR2, in 5.45x39mm Russian, then reworked all the furniture, installed the muzzle brake and mount for it, and put a genuine AK74 buttplate on it. It just wasn't RIGHT for a 5.45 AK74 clone to LOOK like a 7.62 AKM. Since genuine Russian 45 round mags were so hard to come by here, and astronomically priced, I cut down 2 East German 30 rounders and put 'em together into one 45 rounder. No bayonet lug, though. I haven't yet figured out how to finesse that.

Your Lucky to even own that!

The Oz Goverment took all our semi's away from us serious target shooters and collectors back in the early 90s.

I had a SKS, Browning SLR 7.62 Ex British issue & a M1 Garand still boxed up and in its packing grease.

All because some nut went crazy with a semi auto in Port Arthur.

Yeah, I've heard gun ownership is a big fat no-no there. I've got a friend that used to be a Territorial Ranger, or something like that, in the southwest part of OZ, and he said that a lot of the guns never came out of the outback, and are still in use there. I couldn't say, just going on what he told me. I've also heard, and don't know if it's true or not, that you folks can't even import BB guns. Is that for real, or was my leg just getting pulled?
