All I can keep saying over and over again is.................. All these people calling for a revolution.......... all republicans............. where were they during the Bush administration??

They were calling for revolution, just as they are now. I'm no Republican, and I sure as hell am not a Democrat, and I've been calling for Americans to stand up and fight the central government since the late 1980s.

You probably didn't hear the call to Revolution over the last 8 years because it was drowned out by crybaby liberals blubbering about global warming and how big bad George W had ingeniously tricked Congressional Dems into supporting the invasion of Iraq. Nonstop coverage in the press, but it was all a smokescreen to conceal the utter failure of Congress to heed the will of the People.

George W. Bush was a moron, but even at his worst he still had better job performance ratings than Congress. And we just elected a member of that sub-moron Congress to the presidency. You get what you pay for.

Where were they? They were watching Dubya pound his chest and talk about "patriots" while sacrificing American lives for big oil and his own personal pride. Iraq-Nam was not worth one American life, much less 5,000. This is the same rich-boy patriot who was too busy to fly around Texas in a plush ANG billet while the common man was humping ruck in the jungle. The same patriot who wanted, from day 1, to "get Saddam" for planning to whack DaddyBush. DaddyBush, much smarter than Dubya, told him not to do it. Dubya is stubborn, if nothing else. Now, when all of the Bush-Cheney policies have rotted out the underpinnings of the country, the blame is being shifted to a President who has been in office all of three months.
For Michele, it's all about power. Her ploy is to act out a role that she hopes will give her some juice in 2012, especially now that the bloom is off Palin and she is far from the public's view and wading through snowdrifts again. Michele has an eye toward higher office and figures that shooting off her mouth this way will get her a lot more interest than shooting a moose or two. She really doesn't want anything drastic to happen, she just needs the big dogs to believe that she fills their needs for an election and wants to stay in the public eye. The problem is that some people will take her literally [as we have seen] and she plays a dangerous game whether she knows it or not. We should survey the politics boards for "Patriots for Bachmann" who would consider voting for her as President or VP to see how effective her scheme has been.
Of course, part of the antagonism driving the Tea Party/March on DC concept is the way Pelosi and crew have been treating the GOP... which is exactly how the GOP treated the Dems during Billary's second term.

What goes around comes around.

By the Creator, I feel as if I'm surrounded by children who know no better than what they've been told. *Sighs*

To Jay, and the others, who believe that peaceful protest will solve anything, allow me to illuminate to you how much of a joke this is;

They'll let you protest and gather in your chosen place (Which is not the steps of the whitehouse, and which is not disrupting anything.... because you've been trained not to DISRUPT things).

They'll patiently let you assemble, with your signs and your screams and your "USA! USA! USA!" nonsense. And quietly, they will laugh to themselves, and discuss how stupid all you protesters are. Why? Because all that they will do is wait. They will wait, then send some police forces out to gas you and "Disperse you non-violently" using tear gas and other tools at their disposal. They already have, and they will again.

And if they don't? They'll wait for the protest to fall apart. "I've got to get home to my kids, I can't afford to pay the babysitter."

"We've really made a difference, but I'm out of vacation time for work and they'll fire me if I don't get back, and with the economy how it is, I can't afford to get fired".

"I've spent enough time here, I've got classes I should be studying for."

They'll wait for the rabble to break apart because nothing unifies them and they have no interest beyond having their meager little, meaningless voices heard to those in power. Oh, they hear you. THEY HEAR YOU AND THEY LAUGH.

Because they know you are all a bunch of cowards. They know you are such godawful cowards that when they tell you not to send teabags in the mail "For National Security Purposes", you all roll over and do it, because GOD FORBID you do something ILLEGAL and get ARRESTED.

Cowards. Braver men fought and died for this country, braver men willingly laid out out on the killing fields choking, gasping and clutching at wounds in their gut as they endured misery before their eyes went cold. Braver men whose names you will never know, because they are the nameless dead.

They were willing to die rather than live in a society where their lives were dictated any longer. They saw the promise of the new lands stretched out before them; the promise of freedom, of individuality. Of personal sovereignty coming before country.

The real truth is that most of you here are not for armed revolt, even as an option... because you are cowards and don't want to be the first to die. You don't want you and yours to suffer, so you'll wait for EVERYBODY ELSE to make your decisions for you.... just as the brainwashed, self-defeating human beings that you are.

And those who can, those who CAN muster the courage to take their own destiny in their own hands, come death or freedom.... I only wish that you are the kind of person who would look at a convicted killer, or a transvestite, or a gay person or a liberal or a democract as brethren and clasp their hands should you meet them out there, on the killing fields.

Until there is action. Until someone actually does something, you will all remain cowards to the last.

I am not normally so venomous in my commentary, or outright hostile. I apologize, but I see no hope in this country anymore. I see no promise. I only see side-taking, selfish indifference and carefully cultivated hatreds breeding amok. There are so few people who have any sort of enlightened point of view that their essential existence is worthless.

My parents, after that meeting I mentioned in my prior post, asked me why if I was so wise didn't I decide to teach all the people. My response is thousands of years old, yet still holds true to this day.

"The teacher does not seek the students."

Agreed, its only a symbolic gesture, but it does have a message and it does carry some weight. You can't ignore a thing that clogs up whole post office branches with mail that all pose the same idea. Our Congress Critters are very interested in numbers, specialy if its tailored to one issue, and its their own constituents sending the message.
Its a pointed attack on their jobs. It might take alot to have them feel the slap up side their heads, but it does get through, after a fashion!!

Zindo
I hear what you are saying. I am just afraid the only weight it carries is in the back of a garbage truck headed to a landfill. But maybe the revenue boost to the Post Office will help them with their financial woes.lol!I have been calling, emailing and mailing my representatives forever it seems to no avail. It just gets discouraging after awhile, which is what they want.I am just ready for action now in some way. We have to unite and march on DC in mass now ,in this Texans humble opinion.Gods Speed!

My urging for people to use caution in these matters comes directly from the founding document of this nation itself.

I've got news for you, Private Jay, we exhausted our caution and our patience about 20 years ago, when the government made it federal policy to infiltrate militia groups, to entrap suspected militia members, and to murder their families. See Ruby Ridge for more on that, if you need a refresher.

Seems that every time the central government oversteps the law, trampling the Constitution and even killing American citizens in the process, there arises a contingent of questionably patriotic clowns urging caution and patience — "Oh, let's just wait and see, let's exhaust all the bureaucratic avenues of inaction, before we actually concede that the government is broken. God forbid that we prematurely act on our Constitutional rights!"

Let's just conveniently forget that "big oil" wasn't rewarded at all by the invasion of Iraq. And the Americans who volunteered to fight and die in Iraq served a much higher purpose than the anti-war activists who disgracefully mocked soldiers and their families at military funerals.

But I'm not taking this socialist, anti-war bait. Let's try to stay on topic.

*Attention* major incoming flames!!!

@ Doc & Dragon:

Luv'd yer input on this!!!

TPTB have counted on this division in the "Stater's"...
(My new "American" descriptor...being as the Corp "America" is now our major obstacle)

What was said earlier? Divide and Conquer?

...Once again...

The Bankers' Manifesto of 1892
circleof13.blogspot.com...

People without homes will not quarrel with their leaders. History repeats itself in regular cycles. This truth is well known among our principal men who are engaged in forming an imperialism of the world. While they are doing this, the people must be kept in a state of political antagonism.

The question of tariff reform must be urged through the organization known as the Democratic Party, and the question of protection with the reciprocity must be forced to view through the Republican Party.

By thus dividing voters, we can get them to expend their energies in fighting over questions of no importance to us, except as teachers to the common herd. Thus, by discrete actions, we can secure all that has been so generously planned and successfully accomplished.
Call it what you will...

Corportism...Socialism...Fascism...

...it matters not to TPTB....

To them...the end justifys the means...

...And their means, mean our ends...

...And once again, I'm reminded by BHO on the news...

...Sacrifice...

I'm amazed he can keep calling for this, from us...

Our Country and Citizens have been doing this for over 2 centurys...

At first to establish this Country, then to defend it, our Freedoms...

Seems now we're asked again for Sacrifice...

To fill the "Black Hole" created by "Weapons of Financial Destruction"

..When is enough, enough...???

Dear Mr. Velocity,
I wasn't attempting to bait you. I was answering another post. I have no quarrel with you other than that your inflammatory rhetoric and incitement to revolution may make the situation worse for those who think you have a clue about what you are saying. The fact that you denigrate other posters with bombastic pablum and pretend to be a military leader of some sort casts doubt on your true experience and abilities. You even shifted my comments about Iraq-Nam not being worth the life of one brave American serviceman to war protesters mocking the military at funerals. Do you believe I am a person who would do such a thing or is this part of your usual tactics? You have no idea who I am and what uniform I wear but you assume that when someone disagrees with you that they are a traitor/commie/socialist un-American and that you must be the only "Patriot." That is unsat.

Cong. Bachmann is not crazy; she is looking for PR because she could get unelected the next time around. She is playing to her audience, locally and on the national stage. I believe that she is doing this because she sees a vacuum at the top of the GOP and is looking to be a part of it. If she can appear to be important, she stands a better chance of getting reelected or going after the Governorship.

Jake,
Thank you for your erudite comments. I appreciate you returning from space to make them and I will try to hold myself back in the future, if you promise to work on grammar and syntax.
It's not that I disagree with everything that is being said it is just that it seems like such a convention of whiners and blowhards. Some have talked themselves into revolution and the going hasn't even gotten tough yet. What will they do when it does? Head for Canada? I can't tell if they are non-hackers or are sore losers wanting the new president to fail.
Bachmann can't believe that anyone will take her literally but she has underestimated the gullibility of one fraction of the populus. Those true patriots that everyone is blathering about will be the ones that keep things together when things get tough, not tear them apart. Destruction is easy, construction and maintenance are hard. Failure to maintain the Union will result in a situation far worse than any facing us now.

It never ceases to amaze me as to the attempts at shifting the discussion away from the underlying premise of any topic that deals with evil that has entwined itself into both political parties; the “where were you’s” and the “now you object’s” with the outright blatant attempts to disrupt thoughtful exchange by causing the discussion to descend into a emotional hyperbolic political finger pointing fest of abject stupidity; exemplify the ‘divide and conquer’ stratagem of our collective enemy. As seemingly brain dead zombies, we continue to argue the immaterial faultfinding petulant mantras of the already enslaved; the whining ‘if only’s’ and ‘why didn’t’s’ of those too ignorant to realize that these were exactly the mind sets that have led us to THIS point.

Please grow UP; this is not the time for finger pointing, name-calling or blame setting! You will not be able to tell WHO voted for Bush, Clinton or Obama when they are wearing FEMA Detention Center clothing! Our Republic is dying and you want to score political points? Can you not forget that which divides us to save our beloved nation? Are you that self interested and obsessed as to allow our freedom to die so that you can win a political finger pointing argument?

I have been trying to point out the evil that our government was committing since Iran/Contra. I have been laughed at, marginalized and been made an outcast by Republicans AND Democrats. Derided and scorned when I mailed my medals back for shame of Nicaragua, where all trust in my government died. Screaming at the top of my voice what was in store for America when the 3rd Rangers were ordered to train Russians who were wearing black US army uniforms – did ANYBODY listen? Alternatively, did you laugh when many at great risk leaked the horrors OUR government was planning? Now you want to point fingers?

Let me tell you clearly that the US Government has been planning all of this for some time. If you even care to KNOW the truth look up The Report From Iron Mountain, the Army Field Manual for how to handle civil unrest in the “Coming Economic Collapse” and all the information on FEMA Detention Centers. Look up the information on Mena Arkansas Airport and the Clinton Suicides which point out the ruthlessness of black ops specialist (I mean HOW do you shoot yourself 9 times in the head with a Berretta or hang yourself from a chandelier 19 ft up with no ladder and it be ruled a suicide?)

As for ‘first shot’s, many of those have already been fired; false court cases, ‘suicides’ or a 7.62 NATO from a FBI M26 sniper riffle all take life. Evenstill, for us to maintain the moral high ground we must be seen to have not perpetrated any violence. To be sure, the preverbal knock on the door at midnight is where most will be faced with the choice of a nameless stand against evil, but there will be an out in the open attempt to cow the masses; you need only study the psychology of Waco. Moreover, consider that the powers that be are running out of time to force us to comply with the United Nations Human Rights Act that we agreed to enforce during Clinton 2; bureaucrats always overreach when they are making a power grab.

Now, let us lay aside all else – NONE of us are saints, but we ARE AMERICANS! Let us stand together and defend this nation as men and women who will NOT be enslaved! I’ll take point!

You're certainly not on my list. It isn't that big, in fact, usually after awhile, I take the person off, unless they continue meaningless discussion. I just don't like to take time to respond to someone who uses no logic, but resorts to name-calling as their defense.

Try it...I've not received a reply to 5 sent messages, but, maybe you'll have more luck than I...

Actually, I got several responses from the Bush White House, but all of my emails to the Obama White House have received no response. All of the emails were respectful, but were asking why different promises were not kept.
I didn't expect them to be, but thought at least they would give an excuse, which would have given me some comic relief, but I guess the Obama staff has no sense of humor.

Flagged. Great post.
Yes, you are right, this is not, or should not, be a partisan issue. In fact, I believe that it trulyshould be "us versus them", with the "them" being our "elected" government. I put the "elected" in quotes, because the entire process of nominations really gives us no say, other than to pick from the candidates that were chosen in smoke filled rooms, so to speak.
I believe that as soon as a candidate is elected, they get a frontal lobotomy, because they seem to ignore the American public, and immediately bow to their corporate masters.
Of course, there is no question that the illusion of the two-party system keeps Americans from concentrating on the real problem, namely the whole lot of them.As long as we play their Dem vs. Rep, conservative versus liberal, game, we lose and they win.
As SGTChas said, wake up America. It is our fight to win.

Sir, I neither know you, nor you me, however I hear the tinny ring of hopelessness. Let me tell you I have stood when others ran, and suffered much for the resolute resolve to defend my core principles; I bled to maintain “Duty and Courage”. I have stood with homosexuals, Democrats, Republicans and Americans of all colors who stood with a white boy from Virginia – we stood together and were not DEFEATED because we remained UNITED by our commitment to each other and our duty. We lived, ate and cried together with one all encompassing emblem of our unity: Army Camo.

While I make no claim at being some fearless military superman, I have proved I can shoot straight and hit what I aim at when needed. I will stand with any to defend this Union, ANY, period. I will NOT stand by and watch those I swore to defend be enslaved! If I die alone, so be it; I will have kept the faith and will die with honor; death is an old friend and I have cheated him many times.

As has been stated, “a coward dies many deaths, a brave man but once.” Long Live This Republic!

Yes, my American brother, it is time for us to awake. For years I have stood to point out the lies and evil of both Republicans and Democrats while family and former friends laughed. Loosing a wife and disowned by my father and sister I stood to warn of EXACTLY what is happening now. A lonely stand of one (among those I knew of) for truth when all else were flying the flag and surrendering their rights for security, but I stood. I watched as all three of my sons put on uniforms and went off to serve in wars for the freedom of multinational corporations. I have been jailed and warned to remain silent, spit on, and have no friends left alive or free; still I stand and call for a united American front to evil. I will not kneel (sort of hard on one knee anyway).

I know that I am for certain on every government dissident enemies list and care not a wit. My only hope and care is that not all the blood shed from the Lexington Green until now was shed in vain; for this, I will fight.
