Just on Nasa TV! STS119 Discovery encounters UFO!

I've heard people call these things "disc shaped objects."

But why is it that they always appear to be laying completely flat in the camera's perspective? There is no up or down in space, so I think it's a stretch to say that every time these space cameras catch a disc-shaped craft they always see it from right on top of it or right underneath it. If it were a disc-shaped spaceship of some sort then chances are the camera would see it at some sort of angle, or maybe even from the side which would make it look like a small sliver.

I think these ETs are reading about all the shuttle space footage we have been discussing here in the last month or two - and basically they are letting themselves been seen by us Terrans, as if to say

"warmer ... warmer ...oh colder ...oh warmer ...hotter ...hotter.."

These ETs seem like good fun!

This thread was started 30 minutes earlier than the one you are referencing. What's the difference? Your thread should have the link to this one.

Anyhow, many videos from Shuttle missions have shown these things. I personally think they are biological, and they seem to be attracted to power sources. I.e: shuttles, bosster rockets, thunderstorms, tehers that get broken off, etc.

I just wish we could capture one of them and study it.

I forgot to mention, I have been watching this dock sequence since NASA tv started broadcasting it. I also saw this event. There have been many camera shots of anomylous objects throughout the afternoon. It appears, from my vantage point, that NASA is attempting to cut away to other shots when they see something, but sometimes they are not quick enough.

If I could only figure out how to capture recordings from my Direct TV Tivo unit, I would be glad to post all of them, but I don't have the equipment set up for it.

Wait wait , let me get that right .Or at least try to.

NASA are the only guys that are supposed to be flying any kind of space flying objects in that part of the woods .. right ? So umm if they say they have a UFO (As in an unidentified flying object) in vision what does that mean?

Well there are a few possibilities:

-There is another US space program and a highly advanced one to produce such crafts , that they they are not aware of.(Also pretty interesting but why would those guys reveal themselves in such a sloppy way?)
-Those sneaky Chinese or Russians managed to put together a highly advanced spacecraft that looks umm well weird (Hmm they must have brilliant scientist , just why haven't they bragged about it yet
-It is a UFO as in alien space craft.
-It is a biological entity living in space which we have not classified yet.

The key here for me is that they identified it as a flying object and not drifting debris .

anyway Just like the ones behind the tether minus the notch. I beive a full light spectrum overlay would reveal the true nature of what this craft looks like. I think we are seeing an type of "x-ray" so to speak, and that this is the working frame of it.

Does anyone know about what was shown after what we see on this video?

From what I see I cannot understand what we are looking at, maybe some minutes (or seconds) before or after could help explain this, or at least give us more information about what we see.

I would like DoF to look this over , but i think it is behind the cross hairs, so no telling how big, you can clearly see the crosshairs as it passes through, if it was in front , with that brightness, no way you would see the hairs

I also believe the object passes behind the cross hairs. Just as it did in the tether incident, when it measured almost a mile wide.

tell us it was ice particles, or fuel, or a balloon, or swamp gas.....

This video was captured from the Shuttle's docking boot camera. The lines are the cross hairs the pilots use to line up with the Space station's docking pod. NASA was flipping back and forth from different views when this took place. I think that once they realize something is going on, they intentionally break away to other views.

ArMaP.. what are your initial thoughts?.. don't tell me you think it's an airy disc?.. although that is possible, but there is only one object there.. you should read the news about what the Indian Space Research Organisation(ISRO) discovered..

The view is from the centerline camera of the Docking system.
It seems pretty obvious that the object is between the camera and the crosshairs used to help with the docking. The upper image is from just prior to the docking today. The ISS is visible.

I'm wondering why the commentator waited until the object was a split second before going out of view of the camera before starting to add her commentary?...To me nothing is coinsodence,there was a reason for it..

What ever it is,it is a replicable object as that ''type'' of object has been filmed before..
