Sorry, I missed a word. My question was meant to be, Why do you think the birds are not UFO's? What about them is not birdlike? Still, in context, didn't you understand what I meant?

Since I originally posted this here, I'd like to follow up. I wasn't even out looking for independent corroboration...but, found it. I posted this artcile about reports from MUFON over the last week and ta-da, there was a report of someone on the ground seeing exactly what I saw! With NASA pulling the wide range replays of this launch it furthers the arguement that NASA is indeed hiding information. If you care to see the reports, visit:

I just said "a better video", a larger, less compressed version would be a better video.

A 720x486 or 1280x720 version (of which free_spirit talked some pages ago) would be a better video.

And I did not said "a NASA video", I think NASA is not the only one filming the landings (but I do not know if that is true).

I hope you give more attention than that to all other searches for better data...

I think the approach & departure of the object shown early in the video is an illusion caused by changes in the light level of the camera. The brightness changes make the object appear to change in size, which can be interpreted incorrectly as changes in the distance of the object from the shuttle.
This also appears to be the case with similar objects later in the video.
I think the objects seen during the shuttle approach are birds.

...at 720 in the video I saw what looked similiar to what I saw from Jacksonville after the shuttle launch yesterday. Just 2 lights floating to Earth but maybe tumbling. I assume the boosters. They were still bright and lit up nicely for a long time.

I didn't see a single thing out of the ordinary during that launch and I picked up visual while it was still burning a nice smoke trail and the seperation and than watched the shuttle "appear" to level off heading up the coast towards New York. No other lights in the sky and of course it wasn't all that dark out yet.

While one can argue the "reason's" for the anomalous activity shown in the clips, we'll never know for sure weather or not these are actual extraterrestrial craft being shown, my opinion still remains the same and unchanged.
