The SUSPENSION of illicit drugs/mind altering substance topics on ATS (The experiment failed)

Ok, so what is going on then? I saw my name on a list and I have my u2u box flooded with "tallys". Is there a post to vote on? I submitted who i wanted (myself included, of course). But I see nothing today.

Any updates?

Yea i agre, and i think fairness and justice is in every one of the nominees hearts, regardless of what some people espouse....

You can probably ignore all the "tally" u2u's, it was a petition that failed.

94 pages asking why you can't talk about something that is illegal on a public forum at the requests of the people that own it?

Is it REALLY that much of an influence on your life that you HAVE to talk about it everywhere you go.?

This discussion has been about ways to keep the intelligent end of that discussion alive and available here at ATS.

It's an effort to maintain a certain level of "denying ignorance".

I see nothing wrong with that.

I kind of feel like we're just running in circles here at the moment.

There is really nothing more we can do until the votes are revealed around 3 pm EST.

With that in mind, I'm going to try and duck out of this thread until close to that time so as to keep a cool head.

It was never about talking about drugs in my opinion. I also think most people here don't talk about taking drugs, or as many have put it, discuss their "Stoner Stories". That sort of stuff is what got us here in the first place.

And as of right now, it's still banned

Unfortunately, this makes ATS responsible for all posts. Claims that they are not responsible for what people post will be laughed at from a liability standpoint.

This is the beginning of a long decline toward the end of ATS.

I'm pretty sure I could debate the psychological merits of dressing in panties and engaging in lewd acts with an Aberdeen Angus,but if the owners of the board and the T&C required that I don't mention my hobbies,..
