This goes to the point, actually, of my post at least. You and Alex could be as wrong as you think others are. And there's no way to know right now. Alex is putting the information out there for others to see, and that's cool. But to think that you're "awake" and others who disagree with you are "asleep" speaks to the ego thing I think jimmy was talking about.

I know Alex is right in my heart and soul. But in addition to that:

Alex has devoted his life to exposing the NWO, and lives and breathes it, knows more about this movement than probably anybody alive, and his documentary films speak for themselves. He has a heart of courage and love and a mind as sharp as a razor. There is a saying in the Bible, Where evil doth abound, grace doth much more abound." Alex Jones is part of that grace. Where would the world be without Alex?

Alex's documentary films are seen around the world, and have held back the Fourth Reich I'm certain. A whole movement of awakened people has been spawned by his work, millions of people, taking a stand where they live, working to wake up their communities wherever they are, and to resist the tyranny.

If we are wrong as you say, then we're wrong. Do you think nobody should try to advocate for their beliefs, that we should all just not give a care? Doesn't that mean we are living like the animals, living for the moment, for our own pleasure, putting little value on our own lives or the lives of others as we ignore the stormclouds of peril that threaten the human race?

Those who love the truth, which I do love it, search for it. And when these find it, they are compelled to share it. If you see danger and do not warn, what kind of person are you? And self-interest and self-preservation demands that people be salt and light, to stand for what is true and right, lest we all be sucked down into a whirlpool of misery and death.

Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty, the pen is mightier than the sword, when good men do nothing evil triumphs, the old cliche's that are true that cannot be mocked away because history does repeat itself to those who ignore history. People like Alex Jones make it their business to study history from every angle, original documents, and to study the writings of the enemy, the things they have said themselves revealing their plans. Alex isn't guessing. He has spent his entire life researching and investigating and studying, and documenting. His videos are all documentation of what he has learned. He works 17 hours a day, stays up half the night reading and studying, and has done so since he was a teenager. He is only 35 years old but looks like he's in his 50s. If you look at the 9/11 Road to Tyranny film of Alex's, compare the way he looked 7 years ago to how he looks today. He has sacrificed his health for his work.

A picture is worth a thousand words, another cliche that is true, and candid videos are worth even more than a picture.

He's a great orator, but a partisan Repug and also a Zionist.

It was fine to torture people, attack nations, and impose a police state, trash the Constitution, as long as it was the Repugs doing it. Now that Obama is in power, suddenly we are in great danger of losing our liberties?

And Keyes is an Israel firster, a warmongering neocon, one of those phony conservatives.

These people are great at posturing and the rhetoric. But underneath, they are pure evil. The very fact that he's putting the whole thing on Obama, save the country by getting rid of Obama, as though Obama had anyhting to say about anything.

In other words, Keys is just furthering the false left/right paradigm, the myth that there are two separate political parties who truly stand for different things. In actuality, both parties are owned by the samea people and are both working to the same goals. Oh, you'll get zero argument from me there. Anybody who can't see that "choice" of "representation" is nothing more than an ILLUSION is still sleep-walking. There are no differences between "parties" at all, these people all serve the same special interests and ruling class / M.I.C...It has been glaringly apparent for the past several decades, all one has to do is really examine what takes place, and who reaps the benefits. Each admin and congressional run is an exact repeat of the previous one.

Your math is probably off. $400 billion to all working Americans would only be $4000. That would only postpone the problem one month. There are about 138 million employed, and about 1 million farmers and farm managers. Together, about 140 million people are employed today in the US. To give $20,000 each would cost the taxpayers $2.8 trillion. Still, that would not be enough. 5 to 10 times that would be needed to replace the lost equity in most homes. That would not restore jobs. That would only catch up some homes. What about lending needed for commerce to survive? Businesses require capital for large inventory purchases that drive the economy.

The system needs fixing, so lending can restart. The banks have the well, the President is just priming the pump.

As for questioning Obama's citizenship, that's just stupid propaganda. He was born of an American citizen, that makes him an American citizen. It doesn't matter if he was born on the moon.

Put your guns away, roll up your sleeves and let's go to work on solving the problem. You're wasting precious time going in the wrong direction. Even if you had a beef, it would take years to clear it up in impeachment, and we don't have the luxury of everyone fighting the President. If you didn't vote for him, grow up and get behind him. He's leading us out of the dark woods, he has the people to do it, and we need to get in line.

That being said, I'm sure there are personalities that don't trust anyone, any elected President, or any of the PTB. That's unfortunate for all of us. Our communities need to rally behind our leadership, with some friendly critics as we go.

Think of it like Habitat for Humanity. It's ok to criticize the blueprints and the foreman of the job, but keep hammering. The house won't get built if you spend all your time complaining. Call your congressmen and tell them you want to volunteer to help. Get together with your neighbors and take a load off local government. Participate in church and school. Make a better life for your community. Stop starting the War Corps.

I've always admired Mr Keyes for his passion and courage to stand up for his principles and beliefs. I may not always agree with his politics, ideology or his stand on the issues, but I certainly would not stoop to calling him a moron.

Surely his ideas & beliefs can be discussed without resorting to attacks on his intellect & character. If he were a poster here on ATS we would not resort to personal attacks and name calling in order to debate his ideas, well at least most of us wouldn't.

He has a PHD from Harvard after-all. And you can read about the rest of his accomplishments on Wiki if you want.

You may not agree with his political views, but that does not automatically make him a moron.

I just know that we here at ATS can do better than to resort to name calling & mud slinging.

Having said that; I do not agree that America is doomed or that Obama is not qualified to be President. I believe that the doomed "America" Keyes is referring to is not the nation as an sovereign entity, but rather the " America " he hoped this nation to become, one that reflects his ideology.

So, by your rationale: 850,000,000,000/20,000 = 42.5million taxpayers...um, there's a few more than that in this country.

And even so: If you give EVERY person $20,000, then exactly how much will $20,000 be worth in the end??? If everyone has that much money, what exactly will the cost of everything be? Will bread cost its normal price or will it inflate to way more than it's currently "worth"?

I don't see how making more money solves the problem. Listen, you got three subsequent generations in this country that don't know how to live correctly. Their lifestyles have been artificially inflated with cheap, mass-produced products, false money (i.e. credit) and unreasonable expectations about sustainability. I've been to third world countries. Does it suck? (Well, I wasn't in Africa - so not "suck" in the worst of senses). People know the stuff they gotta get done, they know their limitations, and they have basically learned understanding of what they can and can't do on their income. Americans these days (baby-boomer to present) have lost all touch with reality and unfortunately our parents' (and, for some, grand-parents') parents are already in their 80s and 90s (or deceased) and cannot help us fix this. They are arguably the last generation in touch with basic living and a knowledge of how to manage that lifestyle. They are too old now - or long gone - to pass on their wisdom that fell on deaf ears while we were all too 'high on the hog' to care about the "simple life".

In my opinion, the only way this crisis will get resolved is if the following happens:

Local-focus in all spheres: commercial/industry, food-production, banking/investment

Public transport: There is no reason in the world that Europe should have a better train system, Brazil and Mexico a better bus system, etc. We need more public transit routes (light-rail, trams, busses, high-speed trains, innercity trolley-cars, ferries, taxis, etc.). Get people to work in transit: production/maintenance, driving/operating, ticketing. Get the car factories employing people to make these vehicles. Get people to stop driving as much, providing viable options for public transit will help - less use of oil = good for the environment, public health, domestic self-sufficience.

Food: encourage personal production - why should home gardens only contain pretty flowers and shade trees? Why not something utilitarian like beans or citrus trees, etc.?

Demand FAIR MEDIA: Who ever said News had to have a catchy-edge or duelling characters playing off of each other for light comedy. The news is information and that's it. WE change this by selecting what we watch and buy (see my first point about local support - Corporations can't get so high and mighty if they don't have the sum of their consumers at their base).

Personal responsibility: TAKE IT! If you complain and complain that gov't is not working then do something. It's not daunting if everyone pitches in. After all, who is gov't? It's supposedly you and me, but we've apparently outsourced it to special interests. Tisk, tisk. The big corporations control everything because we let them...let's change that starting today - STOP BUYING THINGS FROM MAJOR CORPORATIONS, they don't deserve your money.

I'll stop there, it's not like anyone'll read this in its entirety anyway. Call me a dreamer, cause I don't see a 'Meircan consensus coming through on this one - too long with the Weltanshauung of ME-ME-ME!!! Gimme, Gimme, Gimme...too bad.

very dramatic I'm sure. what is it you're going to cash in and where are you going to go? most of us don't have those options. we are entangled through debt on our homes and elsewhere, involved with family and friends, worth far more than the money involved. where ya gonna go with your gun? honestly, it's not that simple.

obama is the latest conductor of this symphony and although he seems to think he's fixing things by funneling money to campaign supporters (many of whom support both parties) he might have the honor of crashing the system because it is totally invaded by debt at every level. Like cancer that keeps multiplying without function, just taking up space and soaking up funds, it's killing us.

We don't know anything but this system. How will we people manage without the current monetary system? Will it be by guns or can we learn to cooperate without the incentive of getting more money than the next guy? I hope we can learn to cooperate in some new way with new incentives. We're about to find out.

When I used to watch TV (which I no longer do since almost 3 years now), I used to see Alan Keyes on Fox sometimes, and he'd let loose with a stream of firey rhetoric. When he got all done he'd give a sheepish grin and be all obsequious. Disgusting.

I heard his spiel on Obama. The world is not going to come to an end because Obama is not a citizen, although I agree it is a serious matter, but notice that Keyes doesn't mention the things that are really destroying the country, the war, the torture, the trashing of the Constitution, the end of posse comitatus, things like that. Why? Because Keyes is a partisan Repug and these things were brought in full force under them.

Obama is continuing where Bush left off. Keyes won't say on thing to criticize the Repugs. His job, as an Illuminati stooge, is to play the prolife tune, preach against abortion and "big taxes" and "big spending." Keyes criticizes the big spending because Obama seems extravagent at this point, but he's got a good ways to go to beat Bush.

Keyes is a charlatan, an illusionist, a magician, a liar, paid liar, playing the same fiddle, just another tune, deceiving another group of American citizens.
