.....liberal media. They have deceived so many people into truly believing Bush is an idiot when he is far from it. No he was not the most eloquent speaker or honest person, but he was not dumb.

Liberal media -

Do you think some people decided on their own about BUSH.

????

Maybe its the way Bush speaks???

I guess I don't remember this, as I was worried at the time how I was going to pay my electric bill during the Enron scam.

Ya me 2 --

And when people tried to raise questions about the price of electricity??

I like the white house response then.

OR

$5.50 gas -

I was awesome to see BUSH and MCCIAN try to REGULATE when we were getting killed at the pump.

I'm sorry - perhaps I am missing something here.
You go to war and spend billions or more dollars on ... what?
Capturing who?
For what?
All the while -
Haliburton makes out like a bandit - as does countless other no-bidders.
Knowing full well the economy is in the crapper?

These guys were thieves - and we all know it.

You're trying to make him look like a prophet who 'saw' this coming and warned us about it. I'll say this for the 1 millionth time (following in the footsteps of all other Americans).......OF COURSE HE KNEW THIS WAS COMING, IT'S EASY TO SEE SOMETHING COMING WHEN YOU AND YOUR CRONIES MAKE IT HAPPEN! I could say that on any given street that there will be a bad car wreck. (Go get a shovel, dig a hole in the street and put a thin layer of asphalt over that) cars will then come and run right into the hole I dug...........OHHHHHHH, I'm a prophet now, I warned you guys there was going to be a crash on this street. Doesn't even take a prophet to forsee someone out there trying to make this monkey look like a caring man, even the devil comes in the form of an angel when he's trying to deceive. At least Bush could have shown us the courtesy of coming in the form of 'something' decent. These guys crack me up trying to sweep up anything good at all to relate to Bush so he doesn't have to admit Nixon's superiority as President. This guy couldn't even foresee the success of any of his businesses and then was given a try at the wheel of the largest political vehicle on earth and drove that into the ditch just like his businesses. Yeah, real prophet here.

a pre-election video that, with almost 2 million hits, seems drearily lost in the new retoric of hope.
www.youtube.com...

Almost surreal the way things are out of control.

I would suggest that our Senate and Congress are one big prostitution ring.

I would suggest it goes further to include the rest of your country.

The people give the prostitutes the money and in return they do what prostitutes do best.

I'm not laughing at you; U.K. is due a whole world of hurt too.

Stuck between 'tick' and 'tock'. Tick, the detonators are blown; tock, the buildings fall.

Dont buy into political propaganda the market deregulation that supposedly happened under bush was a blanket euphemism for a reshuffling or increase in regulations and market controls designed to impose favortism for their politically connected allies. The Democrats regulation is going to be more of the same.
As for the housing collapse it was caused by the war on terror gov defecit spending that funneled loans from the fed into fannie/freddie creating a housing bubble. Bush then had to change to rules for how they work so they could actually find some way to invest his spending into the market. The housing financiers thus started risker lending practices mandated by democratic socialist housing regulations. The influx of fed money also created a low interest morgage bubble that started the housing craze and artificially drove the market up and up and up until people starting getting morgages for housing they only intended to flip. The bubble burst and it came down like a house of cards. Now they want to blame each other like they saw the problem they caused coming. What great foresight.

BS. HE pushed through a $1.4 Trillion dollar tax plan in 2001. The same one that bankrupted the country the last 8 years and instituted socialism for the rich. Congress's agenda is set by who controls the White House, it's called power in case you've never heard of that.

But did anyone realize the the GOP were in control of Congress and the White House in 2001 and all the way up till 2006.

Their could have been plenty done in the time frame, but nothing.

So no pass for Bush.

You know I gotta admit... I despise the path of destruction the Republicans and Cheney/Bush have taken us down, but that video is a jaw dropper for me.
When I saw Fox News did it I thought, "oh please, Fox doesn't do news."
But there it was.

Republicans calling for government regulation on private industry?!
REALLY?!!

I'm not sure how to react here.

It's called editing and context gapping -

Please refer to the first of the two videos above your last post.

I am not a Bush fan but just how did he create it? He is the executive Branch. Only Congress has the power to rail in companies and regulate monopolies, ECT. It starts in the banking and finance committes in congress. It is sickening looking at video of Barney Franks from barely a year ago saying "there is nothing wrong with Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac." If the chairman of the finance service commitee is not to blame then no one is.

How about Chris Dod, the chairman of the banking, housing and urban affairs. You would think he to shares the blame. However, he took more campaign donations from Fannie May and Freddy Mac then anyone else. Obama took the second most. Those who were paying attention know who is really to blame. Something smells and Bush is not to blame for this one. BTW, I am a registered Democrat but I am not to proud to acknowlege that this stinks and who's to blame.
