Calling cops on cops

Here is a man that called for the cops because he felt he got assaulted by some other cop.
This is a sad state of affairs, who do you turn to when you are assaulted by the cops ?

I can imagine the confusion about civil rights and law inforcement rights in these modern day's with so many types of government officials and semi officials.

Specialy after watching some of these homeland security checkpoint video's

Here's one of them.

For crying out loud. These are not Homeland Security checkpoints, they are BOARDER check points, which are found all long the south west region along the US/Mexico boarder, as well as along the north boarder with Canada.

They have been there for years people. YEARS!! Long before many of you were even born.

The numbnut who shot that video should think about challenging any law official in the manner he did. Running a boarder check point like that will definately get you in trouble.

And since people want something done about the influx of illegals into the US, this is why they have increased the boarder check points to capture those illegals that the people want to see happen.

Then they gripe about what they want in the end?

Cheers!!!!

In Calif if you have to call cops on cops for city cops or county sheriff's you call the state highway patrol.

For the highway patrol or homeland security(feds) i dont know who you would call.

For the Homeland Security checkpoints away from the border i have a problem with what they ask people they stop.

They should ONLY ask to see your driver license check it and hand it back.

They should not be asking where you are going where you are coming from
or why you are driving on the road.

Only if the find a fake drivers license or other ID should they ask anything else.

They should also not do anything but look inside a vehicle.
no searching under the seats or searching the trunk only looking in it not moving things or opening things that no one could hide in.

Isnt it obvious that in each of this numbnut's videos at these BOARDER check points, he antagonizes the BORDER partol agents! No wonder they want to inspect his vehicle further. All the other people in front of him are waved right on by, no problem. But this idiot has to show his arse and be the very cause of the problem, and get it on video and declare its the officer's faut.

Id say he deserves to be stopped and interrogated and inspected. Pretty soon these BOARDER patrol officers will recognize him after awhile and be most happy to accomodate his wishes if he wants to instigate a problem.

Other drivers seem to not be having any problem at all. Wonder why just this guy making youtube look at me videos?

Cheers!!!!

You cant actually do it though.
If one cop is already dealing with it the protocol is that no other cop can handle it, they can only assist the other cop(s).
Rank does matter, there boss can tell them to stop.
And even tell them to go home.
But they never will because he will lose respect from others under him.
Several times other ranked officers have called the boss and asked him, pleaded with him, to do something.
And they don't.
The protocol states that you must not interfere with decisions made by a fellow officer in the field.
Its a pathetic protocol about undermining there integrity.
You have to take what you get, then go to internal affairs, the media, and the courts.
And get a nice pay day from law abiding citizens tax dollars.
What a scheme they got huh?

From what i could see that officer was being very fair and patient.
If that had been in the uk then he would have been in more bother than that for winding up a cop.

I really like the response of the chief to this guy in video 9 about holding back others because this idiot refuses to answer a simple question that is answered so easily by everyone else, and even states that loud enough to be captured on the video!

This idiot is definately the cause of all his problems, not to mention causing a needless issue just for view points to his videos.

Cheers!!!!

the video shooter is asking for all he gets. Being very unhelpful and the border control guy is very patient. In the UK would have ben different

My nerves got shot just watching that.
That border guy was being really easy about it.Sure its because there was a camera but still.
The guy filming was being a difficult jerk, rights or no rights.
This was annoying to watch.

I completely disagree, the guy shooting the video was in the right. All he wanted was a yes to his question and Id have done the exact same thing.

"Can you make me?"

Period end of story, he was asking if he had to comply. The numbnuts officer never answered his question. I dont comply with law enforcement either. I straight up say that I will not do anything I am not forced to do, non violently of course. The more people give in such as your self the more civil rights we lose.

I dont even care what kinda check point it was, the officer needs to answer the question. As a citizen he has the right to know what his rights are and what he has to do under the law. This video makes me sick to my stomach and shows how officers are trained to psychologically control the public to side step the law.

Same goes for the citizen to answer the question. Why is it so difficult to answer the question, "Are you an American citizen"? What is so intrusive or infringing about that? 1 second of your life to simply say "yes", but you would rather do what this idiot does and hold up everyone's day and these officers from doing their job.

Ya that makes alot of sense there dude. Real patriotic. Real American. Real dumb.

I hope your type is behind me in traffic so you wont infringe on my rights to simply say "yes" and get on with my day.

Cheers!!!!

Not even close, you must be a cop or something. I can see you agreeing with not informing someone of their rights yeah, makes sense. Sorry but no I would do the same thing. The officers job is to be nice theres no "ohh he was being so nice", wtf is that? Its his job. Youre brain washed to believe these guys can snap at any moment and beat you up. Thats not how it works, cops arent allowed to abuse you.

The guy wanted to know if he was forced to comply thats it, all the officer had to say was yeah if you dont comply I can force you to get out and I will. I bet 100 bucks the kid would have gotten out at that point.

I mean most people dont know when you get booked into jail you dont have to give your fingerprints, things like that. Cops use these psychological tactics to force you to do things against your own civil rights.

The more people comply with these requests out of stupidity the further they can go and the faster we will lose our rights. Mainly because it becomes common place and people accept it.

I have a friend who has a masters and specialized in criminal investigation. Completely normal citizen, law abiding, pays her taxes. If she gets pulled over for anything and they want to search the car, she makes them call the dog in she wont submit either.

Maybe you should goto college I dunno but she even understands the more you comply the faster you lose your rights. First its, "everyone whos law abiding lets us search their car, lets pass a law that lets cops search your car without your consent. Then its "everyone whos law abiding lets us search their house, lets pass a law to let cops search houses without their consent".

And it goes on and on. They can as of recently use evidence they find in illegal search and seizure because of the same type of thinking youre using now. The officer isnt the danger, the danger is the way you think and the fact that the majority of the population thinks just like you do.

If everyone questioned them like this kid, youd see a whole other approach to law enforcement. Dont get me wrong, the kid needed to be a little more clear on some of his points, hes clearly not a lawyer. Im a lot clearer then he is and think about what I say to any cop before I say it so Im protected. But over all he had the right idea.

I totaly agree with your post.
Your rights are your rights, period.
No oone stands above the law, specialy not cops.
This mans video series clearly shows the level of intimidation by some of these officers.
In the OP video you can clearly see that the cop is not used to having to answer questions and i think if there where no cams on this car we would have had a much more voilent story.

Mind if I ask you a question. How long have you been in this world?

Why would you want them to answer "Do I have to comply?"?? Let me ask you something else, when an officer pulls you over and asks for your driver's license, do you think that you should smart back and ask "Do I have to comply"??

That my friend is only asking for the officer to hold you even longer. If you put yourself in their position, perhaps you might see how dumb and rediculous it is to be asking "Do I have to comply".

Have you ever served in the military? I doubt it. And if you did, did you ever ask your C.O. "Do I have to comply?"?? Heh...heaven help you if you ever did that in the military service.

Of course you have to comply!! Its called cooprating, its called being responsible, its called being smart, and its called being respectful. Its also called complying with a request made by an offical of the US Boarder Patrol, who have just as much authority as a cop, state cop or federal agent.

Im not a cop, but let me tell you this. If I was and I ran into you or anyone like you who gave me lip just to be an ass, I will be an ass back and stand toe to toe with you till you do something even more stupid and give me reason to take your butt down to the floor and arrest you for interfering with offical business.

That is what this boarder checkpoint video idiot is doing, interfering with offical business. I am surprised that he has not been arrested yet...or perhaps he has and just has not published those specific videos that will prove his stupidity.

I salute all those in public service. To put up with this kind of nonsense from apparenlty educated people and be so patient with them takes guts, takes honor and is admirable. And some wonder why they have such short fuses.

Cheers!!!!

Please show us where in the Bill of Rights it says "And the people have the right to be disrespectful towards authority and not comply with requests".

Intimidation by officers? There is not one video this numbnut is putting out where any of the officers is trying to intimidate him when he pulls up to the stop. It is just the opposite. This guy is intimidating the officers flat out, giving the officers reason to hold him further.

Hardly. Those officers are used to people respecting them and simply answering the question "Are you an American citizen?". They are used to hearing "yes" and waving people to proceed. When they have to stop an entire line of traffic to deal with an idiot like this, things tend to accelerate to a point where they simply wont tolorate the nonsense and deal with the situation accordingly.

Next time you get pulled over for speeding or something, and the officer asks for your DL, give em all the lip you think you have the right to. Lets see how fast you end up on the floor for interfering with official police business.

God help these types if there ever is a martial law declared. It would be enacted because of people like this, and they will be the ones first rounded up and thrown in jail.

Cheers!!!!

Well how do you mean "Of course you have to comply" ?
Is it so by law or because you say so.

I am not a cop and let me tell you something, you just gave the perfect example of a bad cop in your discription of what you would do if you could arrest me or the man in the video.
Do you think that you or some of these cops are above the law for some reason?
Nice discription of a police state cop mentality, thanks i could not have made that one up myself.
