Just went to check it out for the first time. WONDERFUL! Honestly, I had no interest in this feature until another member urged me to try it out. It's a good thing they encouraged me because I'm loving it so far. Incredible stuff.

Hey Ash....you can create a GROUP for that! Then people can join that group! As far as media upload categories....maybe SO will do it

Go to "my groups" and there is a link for "create new group"

I cannot change my avatar picture and i REALLY want too.It wont let me upload another one or upload a pic in to an album.

Yes, I believe so So far there are NO groups! I checked

The best part is a female member who says "hi" has the most # of views, 5 stars, and the most comments.

Yep, sounds like you've gone brokered it good.

I wish I knew the answer, I'm sure a MATS help and issues thread will be forthcoming at some point. Or maybe someone with some expertise can offer you some help here.

That media portal site is growing fast, and I mean fast.

Does this mean the ATS forum site will start losing viewership because everyone is at the media portal site???

Maybe make your image smaller. The image size is 124x94. Though Im not positive that is your issue.

I had to resize mine, because it had stretched it out and made it all wonky.

I think it's actually 120x90. If anyone needs me to, just fire me off a u2u and I will crop/resize your avatar or another default image you'd like to use to those dimensions in Photoshop so it doesn't skew. I've done two so far for other members and have no problem doing it for anyone else. It's very quick and easy.
