The Bible and aliens...

Interesting post m8, yet, this is about as controversial as you could get...(which I guess is your point).

What if aliens are just a myth nothing more

What if God and the Son of God is nothing more than a myth?

What truth, real hard facts are there to say they can believe in such a devine entity? Yes that meens disregarding people whom have had there so called spirtual encouters. We all have those feelings of "total euproria" from time to time, without the aid of drugs, but it dosnt meen youve been touched by the Holy Spirit.

I look around My World and see, War, Famine, Poverty, Children being abused by some sicko for his personal pleasure, I hear women being raped, Murder, Pain, Suffering, Theft from the elderly....the list goes on.

I don't know anyone thats had a life full of happiness, without one day of rain.

If God exists, and is sitting there watching this, then he/she/it is the most perverted being I know.

I could not sit back and watch the things above, if I felt I had a chance of stopping something, yet with me, being nothing more than a mortal wanting to challenge the persons commiting the terrible crimes, how can the one we are supposed to worship and love sit there and watch.

The first answer is, he will return, perhaps that in the form of a women. When the day of reckoning is upon us.
OH marvellous....were all about to die, apart from some lucky few whom go to church on Sundays and say there bed time prayers. Why wait until the end of the world? It would be more humane to end the creation now, and let the paine of so many, dissapere.

Only recently was a child stabbed, I say a child, as he was no more than 16yrs old in my local town. A friend stood there helpless as he watched his friend die before his eyes. The poor kid was in so much paine before he died, his friend went virtually insane as he stood there. 2 days later he commited suicide by jumping off a bridge in front of a train, just two minutes from my house. His body, what was left was found 2 miles up track. Neither deserved to die, not at that age, yet our God, whom some belive and worship in, sit there and watch?

How could a God, that rules us, be so reluctant to help those that need it most?

I do not dismiss the fact, that Yes, there probably was a man named Jesus, whom proclaimed himself the son of God. Yet, in Todays world, anyone doing so is treated as insane. 2000yrs ago, it may have been possible for anyone to encourage 12 persons to follow and love him.

Hitler managed a whole nation, and yet he did not need to call himself the son of God.

Fact:- Theres too many accounts of unusal occurances both on the planet, in the skies, and around our space to be claimed as "made up" or myth.

Fact:- None of these can be 100% Identified as being true. Yet, theres video proof, witness accounts (my own included), to shed some light on either A) Were simply not alone. B) Superpowers are more "Super" than there letting on. C) We know zero about our own world, and all these things a common nature.

Fact:- Has anyone photographed God recently? No I dont think so, or for that matter the son of God.

Could it be so impossible to believe, that perhaps religion is simply one of two things.

A) Something man made, in order to solve mans own mysteries. Ask a priest why people die younge, and the answer is "God works in mysterious ways". Its an answer you could use for almost any question poised, that defies the churches beliefs.
You could ask, "Why am I poor, when others are rich", the answer "You will be rewarded in the afterlife". DO we know there is one...yes I hope so, but the fact remains, we do not. I'd like to be rich now, living with babes on an island without a care.
Floating around in a cloud feeling happy all the time when Im dead isnt something that really inspires me to look forward to retirement. Hell, I could float around in a cloud now If I bought some heorine, but it dosnt solve the after death issue.

B) Another being, from another world or dimension, used religion as a way of misinterperating what were basic people, what they are really were, and perhaps still are doing here.
A light in the sky, a being with somewhat devine abilities....it must be an angel?!?

Ok, I will undoubtably get flamed by those whom belive in God. For those that do, all the best, hope it brings you some hapiness. For Myself, and the rest of the people, I'd rather believe that in a Galaxy where there are more solar systems then that of grains of sand on every beach in the world, and that there are more Galaxies than than there grains of sand, that, yes, just maybe, there life, thats more intelligent than our own.

Could it not be so impossible to believe that there world, was given an early start with out more than one astronimical disaster that caused 90% of all living animals to become extinct. Could it therefore not be impossible to believe, that if this indeed did happen, that that culture has at least 30million years more advancement than that of our own?

Man has only made his greatest strides over the last couple of hundred years in terms of technology. In just another 200hundred, where could we be? In 30million where will we be?
If by that time we have only just put a man on Pluto, then, I take all the comments back. Yet I feel in some of your great, great, great, great grandchildrens lives, something remarkable will be found. A technology that allows us to move through our solar system, as if taking a plane to another country. In a thousand, or maybe two, something so incredible, that we can only wish we were alive to witness it.

There my own thoughts, poored out, sorry if its long (I type quick ), but the topic was interesting, and I felt it needed the other side answering.

God can�t intervene because god is not a rapist he doesn�t force us to love him or follow his words. God gives his children free will, which means we have a choice to love him or to deny him to follow his teachings or ignore them.

God allowed for the possibility of evil so that we could genuinely have �free will� and choose whether we wanted to serve Him or not. With �free will� comes responsibility for our actions. Some people and groups of people use their �free will� for evil purposes while some others choose to do Gods will. Ultimately God needs to allow everything, good and bad so that we continue to be free. That is true love. If God interfered by not allowing bad things to occur, he would effectively be taking away our �free will� because it would no longer be our choice.

Even Satan had free will. He was described as the most beautiful Angel of all. The devil and the other demons were indeed created naturally �good� by God, but they became evil by their own doing." These angels irrevocably chose through their free will to rebel against God and not to serve Him.

If a race of giants built the Egyptian Pyramids I wonder why they used man sized tools. Ancient wood tools used on the pyramids, all currently located in the Cairo museum.

If you believe that you are dumb!And I don't know how else I can explain it.Scientists sometimes try to make some of the feets of the ancients simple, when they are far from it.The Egyptians themselves left NO info on how they constructed the Great Pyramids, and any "scientist" who says they know exactly how is lying or merely speculating!Try again!Oh, you haven't dealt with the other issues I posted.I'm waiting... anybody?????And.. how did they move the 70+ton stones anyway??

I don�t believe I�m dumb in any way. But I�m positive that there are many people more intelligent than myself. So I listen to their discoveries and findings and don�t dismiss them because they don�t fit into my personal belief system. These tools were found at the foot of the great pyramids in Egypt, they are from antiquity. How can you dismiss this physical evidence so easily?

Well, first of all, those tools could be used to make many things,and not necessarily to shape 70+ ton blocks almost perfectly, and I believe that a group of archeaologists tried to recreate a 10 ft pyramid using the tools that the ancient egyptians would have access to and they failed miserably!!They could only get 30% finished.And even if you have slaves out of the wazzou, you stiil have to move the stones, and place them precisley on top of each other.

I must agree with you on this one, I have never seen any hard proof myself, how they built the great pyramid only theories that fails, thats why it's a Mystery. If you travel down there an look for yourself it's Amazing!

jhova, giants didn't build the pyramids. The Nephilim were giants, people probably nine or ten feet tall. This same Hebrew term was used to name people of similar appearance in Numbers 13:33. Goliath, who was nine feet tall, appears in 1 Samuel 17. The Nephilim used their physical advantage to oppress the people around them, not to help in the construction of monuments. So we aren�t talking about fifty foot human like beings that could lift seventy ton blocks.


1 Samuel 17:4-7

4 A champion named Goliath, who was from Gath, came out of the Philistine camp. He was over nine feet tall. 5 He had a bronze helmet on his head and wore a coat of scale armor of bronze weighing five thousand shekels ; 6 on his legs he wore bronze greaves, and a bronze javelin was slung on his back. 7 His spear shaft was like a weaver's rod, and its iron point weighed six hundred shekels.


The Shekel is from biblical Hebrew. One Shekel weighs about 0.025 pound, so a 600 sheckel iron point would weigh about 15 pounds. This would be more in line with a 10 foot being and not a 50 foot being.

Also the Bible says the Nephilim procreated with human women, a giant of such large proportions would be unable to impregnate a woman, his genitals would be too large. But a nine or ten foot giant could certainly perform the task.

Genesis 6:4

The Nephilim were on the earth in those days-and also afterward-when the sons of God went to the daughters of men and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.
