As I ponder this topic a bit more and look at some of the responses, I am reminded of Thomas Jefferson's famous quote that "the price of freedom is eternal vigilance." Although we live in a "free society," each and every generation (indeed, each and every individual) must constantly work to protect that freedom and to exercise it, or else it will be lost. USE IT OR LOSE IT! It may be written in our laws that we have the freedom to believe what we want, but unless we constantly stand up fro that freedom every day in ways big and small, it will gradually be taken from us in reality, no matter what the law happens to say.

If people sit back and say stuff like "I've got nothing to hide, so why worry," well, this may be true in a literal sense, but on a deeper level you are capitulating in the constant and necessary daily battle to secure and earn your freedom from this kind of intrusion. The more people express such attitudes, the more incidents like the one the original poster describes will proliferate.

If we dont speak the truth than everything we are, everything this nation represents was a waste and they win.

I'm a victim also... about 6 years ago, advertising for my small business, I put some very funny/slightly derrogatory commercials about Bush/Cheney on AirAmerica in order to support Franken and crew... since... I've been reduced to nothing ... long story .. but ... at my last job at a call center (where I was promoted supervisor) on my shift .. we were inundated with FAX machines from an area code in Texas (which would bring down my sale pct)... I would answer calls and more than once a caller would say my childs name which is very unique and then hang up.... those are just the minor examples/// gangstalking is very real.

Good grief. Do you thimk other people are being watched? My views aren't exactly mainstream either. I mean, I love my Country, but aren't too thrilled with the way things are being run lately. For example, the US Goverment could have given each Citizen a million dollars and still have money left over to bail out the banks. 850 BILLION! Come on, if we are to borrow, let us all have a share in it. Why should these crooks take all the money and then hoard it all. You still can't get a loan for a car or whatever, unless you have perfect credit score. Who do you know that has a score of 700 or more? I can't think of one person.

Well about a month and a half ago I as well as my friends thought I was being watched for about 3 days. There was a civilian tagged vehicle in my parking lot at my shop that had a man in it in plain clothes. This vehicle would be in my lot till I left and would move around the lot through out the day. Some people thought I was kind of crazy for thinking I was being watched but then the truth came out yesterday.

Yesterday about an hour after I opened my shop the OSBI or Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation came and payed me a visit. The guy showed me his credentials and then said he needed to ask me some questions.

1. What are your political views?

2. What is your view on our government?

3. Are you anti-government?

4. What are your views on the military?

5. What do you think of other races?

6. Do you consider yourself a patriot?

With these questions there were several sub-questions but you get the point. I answered all of them with my true feelings on the subject. Turns out that back in the end of October I was turned in by some one for my radical views of what needs to be done to fix our government.

I told the agent that I do feel change is needed. I feel that those who have done this to our country need to be held accountable. I want them arrested and put on trial for their crimes. I am not racist at all. I support our military. I am a true patriot wanting us to go back to the original form of the constitution and start from there of course with the needed amendments to womens rights and black rights to stay in place. I want the corruption and greed taken out of the government. I want anyone to be able to run for office if they don't have a criminal history. I want less government involement in our lives.

So I guess my views are now subject to investigation. I find humor in it knowing that even as I write this and post it they will be reading it. Guess its a good thing that I don't do anything illegal knowing now that that they have been watching everything I have done for the last couple of months.

Now what do ya'll think of that.

It's good you are popular and feel safer because of it. Still, watch your back. Remember: Kennedy was popular too!

Both Obama and HIllary used "Rules for Radicals" as their political playbook. They both attended a meeting of the Bilderbergers on June 6, 2008, and Hillary announced her campaign withdrawal on June 7, 2008.
Gee, was that a coincidence?
What with you being interrogated just at the beginning of Obama being sworn in, is this a portent of things to come? Is Big Brother here?

You can guarantee that more and more of these stories will come to light in time to come with 1 million Obama troopers (cattle prodders) being trained in "home defence", against who...everyday people that don't follow suit.

In the face of it, being patriotic IS the crime, when was it wrong to want a non-corrupt government......since they became corrupt, of course there has always been corruption, the difference now is that its harder to see as we are constantly bombarded and hence have become desensitised to it, we have also lost (been programmed to lose) our belief in our fellow man/woman (pc).

Information = POWER. Go find their offices, go in there and ask them nicely WTF they were doing and why. Hell, why not take a few days off and tail them!

For the non-believers, don't forget to post on ATS from your new life in one of the many giant prisons being built in Texas when one of those "imaginary" home guards arrest you for having views...of any kind. That is of course unless they use their NWO powers of "on the spot" sentencing, how much fun will it be to be told by some brainwashed oik that couldn't get a job in KFC tell you that you have been found guilty by him of having a view that doesn't suit the dictator and the sentence is termination...bang bang.

Of course this will never happen, we are soo civilised now, right? Sounds a bit Khmer Rouge, or perhaps that didn't happen....
On April 17, 1975, Phnom Penh fell under the control of the Khmer Rouge, the communist guerrilla group led by Pol Pot. They forced all city residents into the countryside and to labour camps. During the three years, eight months, and 20 days of Pol Pot’s rule, Cambodia faced its darkest days, an estimated 2 million Cambodians or 30% of the country’s population died by starvation, torture or execution. Almost every Cambodian family has lost at least one relative during this most gruesome holocaust.

Sorry!...not intending to go off topic there, although its important to remember.....even a countries people are at risk from its "leaders". In fact, in the case of the US, the people are the MOST at risk from its leaders.

DIVIDED WE FALL......

This guy is a crack pot, thats all that there is to it.

He says he showed him verification and he lists this up front to distract attention from it possibly not being legit, which it wasnt. The Government would not have watched him, it already shows you one thing about the writer, he is talking about how he noticed the people being in different cars and different locations, and yadda yadda... Hes Paranoid.

I am willing to bet that you couldnt verify a real ID badge vs a fake one, not to mention other means of verification.

Also like i was saying the Government wouldn't just sit there and watch him in that way, it costs them too much money to just sit there and watch him, they have the patriot act, they will wire tap him, they will bug him and track him via GPS over cell phone or Specially Designed Sattellite systems.

People like him is why ATS and its paranoid flock of Anti Government Conspirators Exist. And just so you all know... Everyone on ATS has been checked out by the Government
I bet you never noticed them sitting in there unmarked cars either.

Isn't the government supposed to be a voice of the people for the people?

Depends on which government you are talking about. Just because the sticker says "American" on it, it doesn't mean anything unless you know whats inside of it.

I would think that with this premise that I have the right to voice my opinion of a currently tyranical government without having to fear being investigated.

Orders: Detain the subject for further questioning.

Following orders: Subject detained for further questioning.

Questioning detainment: Why am i being detained?

Following orders: For further questioning.

Questioning detainment: What did i do?

Following orders: Dunno. I'm just following orders.

Questioning detainment: Why am i the one asking the questions?

How can a government of the people for the people be intimidated enough by one of the people to begin investigating them with no cause? I'm just one person a vocal one at that but still just one person.

All it takes is one person.

I am far from a crack pot. I am not saying that there is some clandestine operation against me nor a plot to frame me for some crime I didn't commit. All I am doing is stating the facts of what happened. To describe his credentials he had a blue jacket that on the back said OSBI, he was wearing a polo style shirt that was a mid grey color that had OSBI stitched into it, his side arm was a glock, he wore a metal badge on his belt and had a separate ID that was in a 2 part wallet thing that flipped open, the top ID was some credentials the bottom one was his picture ID with more credentials. Why would you doubt me? I am not making some claim to fame or some far fetched story that involves secret operations to frame citizens. All I am doing is relaying the truth to you. Because I respect opinions I will not ask the MODs to pull your post, next time a little less with the name calling. And it wasn't different vehicles it was just one for 3 days but yes it moved to differnt spots in my parking lot.

I've often wondered if they monitored sites like this for possible information on anti-government activilties.

1. the government is the reason why you live so comfortably. So when you COMPLAIN about them you are not observing reality.

2. WHo needs to be held acountable for WHAT? How are BUsh or clinton or any of their cabinet members at fault for anything? no one can explain this coz it makes no sense.
THink about you...YOU HAVE A BUSINESS. You are safe. you go to sleep in a cozy bed. you get to work.

3. you are saying that you are not appreciating what they are doing.

lastly.
I think that people, like you, forget that planet earth is not a UTOPIA....meaning that there is lots of crazy things out there.. the government DOES protect you and your loved ones from these crazy things.
and when you dont show your appreciation for them..it bothers me.

its not about republic or democrat or what not..its about showing respect.
coz those people up there WORKED hard to get up there.
that is WHY THEY are up there.

Hahahaha! Come on!!! Like they count the pennies, its your money they are spending, if I was spending your tax dollars I wouldn't give a monkey's either. Who do you work for? Do you think about the cost implications when "entertaining" on company funds?

So very, very quick to disbelieve, I'm sure the guy has nowt better to do than make up stories about the incident. Who needs corrupt leaders to break down social unity when your doing so well al by yourself!

If you don't like it, don't read it, don't sign on, I'm sure there must be a www.narrowminded.com site that you can sign up for instead. What next...Bush was reading a kids book (MY PET GOAT...PAN) "upside down" when he was told about 9/11!!

Live long and prosper......get out of the US now. Perhaps you also think the Mexiacn wall is to keep the Mexicans out, and not the US in!!

One more thing to consider besides your person or internet being tracked. You should consider checking your vehicle for a magnetic device attached to your car tracked via GPS. These devices are very inexpensive and can be very small as well.

I had been followed while in another country and checked my vehicle and sure enough, I had one attached to the roof of my truck. I disposed of it properly in the river. It was round in shape and only half an inch in diameter.

Anyone can buy one of these devices to track a high value item in case it is stolen. If your house is ever robbed, having one of these devices attached to a high value item such as a plasma TV would greatly increase your chances of recovering the stolen items.

If you would read my posts in this thread you would realise that I am by no means anti-government. I by no means think that all government is bad. I can say that with the occupation I have I am very sought after in many other countries. I have full respect for law enforcement and the military. I protect my family first and foremost though. They only get a chance if they can make it to the problem before my involment becomes nessary. I do show respect for the government when it isn't being corrupt. So what your saying is be a sheeple and don't stand up for the injustices that are being commited on the american people on a daily basis just to line an already rich persons pocket? To say that they worked hard to get there is laughable at best, it is not honest hard work that gets you involved in politics otherwise there would be more minorities and low income people in congress.

Dude, they're just doing their job: checking you to make sure you're not a nutjob. If they thought you were a nutjob, they would have taken the investigation further, and probably hauled you off for a better inspection.
It sucks that privacy is invaded like that, but they wouldn't have to investigate if there wasn't any crackpots about.
There is probably a (post 9/11) policy in place from higher up, that dictates they have to investigate all claims, no matter how trivial they may seem.

You very well may be right in what you are saying. No where in this thread have I said that wasn't the case. It is interesting that my politcal views caused the investigation, no matter how small or big the investigation is. It is more the thought that you don't have the ability to freely speak or be outspoken on or about the government without being investigated.
