Ive always wondered- why do zombies not eat eachother? This has always bugged me. Instead of standing around (and eventualy starving to death) waiting for fresh meat, why dont they eat eachother???
as a comparison, it would be like me waiting for a lobster to walk by while in a room of... umm... steak/chicken. Geez, some things even like their meat rotten (bears) WHY NOT ZOMBIES?!>!

Hollywood doesn't think logically.

LOL at trying to find realism at/in the movies.

So basically, if these "zombies" were real, the Nazis would have needed some way to revive the brain again and have it send signals to the body once more. So first the heart would need to be revived and the body would need blood that still had oxygen in it, so the lungs would have to be working too. Then oxygen could get to the brain, but there would already be extremely severe brain damage, so most of the brain wouldn't work right anyway. And for some reason they want to eat people...r i g h t.

Plus, the reanimated bodies would be constantly decaying. You have a relatively narrow window after the time of death until the body decomposes to the point of no longer being able to support its own weight. This window is even narrower if the body is being subjected to direct sunlight and/or heat. A combination of the two can yield some pretty disgusting results after a week or two.

I think for the zombie premise to be feasible, you have to suspend your disbelief and just go what you believe is possible, regardless of what practicality may tell you.

if the zombie body somehow was able to gain the same nutrients from human flesh as a human would through its regular meals, then that is damn near the only way it would be able to stand on it's own two feet- within a week without proper nutrition it wouldn't be able to stand on it's own.

and let's not even get on the topic of smell- I've been around more dead bodies that have been laying in the sun for a week then i'd care to mention.

they stink like hell.
