relationship in summary: nazism=zionism

Images with gore, i left out for the faint at heart & to meet current ATS T&C policy... but as you can see they are not necessary to show the parallel in humiliation, frustration and pain.

Below are some Adolf Hitler quotes, you'll see a similarity in what Hitler says and Israel does. If the Holocaust taught them anything, it's how to ethnic cleanse people.

*Who says I am not under the special protection of God.
Adolf Hitler

(Translation: Chosen people)

* Germany will either be a world power or will not be at all.
Adolf Hitler

(They have the same attitude. It's all or nothing)

*If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough, it will be believed.
Adolf Hitler

(This one is interesting....it can be applied to a few things)

* The great strength of the totalitarian state is that it forces those who fear it to imitate it.
Adolf Hitler

(Didn't the Jews fear it? Now, they imitate it. )

You just may elect to study history, and find out exactly what caused those land gains.

I assure you, Israel has controlled twice its current land mass, and has given it back.

Victors don't have to be thieves.

All you have to do is when someone attacks you, you just whip their ass. You'll gain land every single time you do that.

There will never be peace in the Middle East. Not until Israel ethnically cleanse the land and wipe Palestine off the Map.

--------------
"If I were an Arab leader, I would never sign an agreement with Israel. It is normal; we have taken their country. It is true God promised it to us, but how could that interest them? Our God is not theirs. There has been Anti - Semitism, the Nazis, Hitler, Auschwitz, but was that their fault ? They see but one thing: we have come and we have stolen their country. Why would they accept that?" -- David Ben Gurion

You may be right, though i think the resentment would still show up elsewhere & from somewhere else. To date there are roughly 5 million Palestinian refugees. Then when you add in the neighboring arab countries record/memory of this injustice, there is a whole lot of anger surrounding Israel. It may take a couple generations to die off well after the zionists have claimed every inch of land, for there to be any resemblance of "peace".

Though i have an idea for a shortcut to peace in the middle east.
Make the Israeli army all women.

Either all Palestinians will voluntarily surrender and/or the women will show some heart/mercy and discard their zionist ideals.

Why doesn't anyone ever post pictures that show the normal daily life in Gaza? Why only show tanks and rubble as if that's all there is? I don't have any issue with showing these images, but the media portrays this as what all people in Gaza and the West Bank experience.

It's the propoganda machine at work. They can't have pictures showing market places full of food and people smiling. They cry out "genocide" and post pictures next to those of the Holocaust.

How many Palestinians have been killed by Israel since 1948? Fewer than 11,000.

What caused Israel's land growth? Victory vs. three other Arab countries.......and they still gave much of the land back.

However, both sides are completely in the wrong. Israel for its inhumane actions towards the Palestinian people and the Palestinians for their inhumane action towards Israel. It a war of extreme ideologies.

It does sicken me that people won't take a middle ground against both Israel and the Palestinians. Rationalizing either side's evil deeds is supporting and extremist ideology, and I used to think most of the people here at ATS were anti-extremists. We are proven wrong everytime a thread likes this pops up. Why?

1. No matter how small, firing rockets into civilian areas is completely and utterly wrong/evil!
2. No matter how righteous the cause, sending suicide bombers that specifically strive to kill as many civilians as possible is completely and utterly wrong/evil!
3. No matter what in war it is wrong/evil to fire weaponry from civilan structures such as schools and hospitals!

But just look at the rationalizing of these actions........you will see people say, "but they are being oppressed!" Sorry, their actions are still evil, still extremist in nature, and still completely and utterly wrong no matter how you look at it. If you support those actions than you too are undeniably an extremist. It is that simple.

We can also look at it from the Israeli perspective.
1. No matter what, it is wrong the use white phosphorus in civilian areas.
2. It is wrong to give litte reguard for civlian lives
3. It is completely wrong to cut off medical and food supplies through blockade. Especially when it is specifically targeted at civilians.

Understand that I support neither Israel or the Palestinians in this conflict. I feel for both sides. I care for the civlians of both sides. I, however, think both sides are doing terrible things to one another.

hey i got a great idea!!! just leave the jews alone!!! sorry...i forgot...that's too simple...you need someone to hate and blame things on, rather then try and improve your own societies. gotta keep that hate and fear level up to maintain control over your own people.

If this is genocide, then it's an odd sort of genocide. A genocide where the population of those being exterminated is growing at a massive rate.

The population of the Gaza Strip increased by almost 40% between 1997 and 2007, according to the results of a Palestinian census.
The survey, taken before Israel's recent offensive, showed the territory has a population of 1.4 million people.

news.bbc.co.uk...

Dang it! Don't you hate it when the facts get in the way of the propaganda? Surely the BBC lies. I mean, aren't the Palestinians being trucked off to cremation centers? The Jews are just like Nazi Germany right?

We can have serious discussion about land grabs and who owns the land that Israel is on, but these silly propaganda stories about Israel committing genocide are pathetic. I don't know how you could call this extermination when the population in Gaza has an annual growth rate of 3.3% a year. The population in Gaza is growing at a rate that is double the world average.

The UN estimates the world's current average population growth at 1.17%.

The Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics estimated the annual growth rate at 3.3% and said the population would double in 21 years at that rate.

Hmmm peaceful areas of Gaza... i'm sure they exist... there are plenty of israeli settlements and security zones i'm sure this "Daily Life in Gaza" video could have been taken from:

And to put this past Xmas season conflict into proper perspective:

As for some of the pro-israel posts... all i can say is that your arrogance is rooted in ignorance. Pull the plug on your ego & US-TVset, so you can get in touch with your humanity/heart&brain.

Those who are squealing over the assumed parallel made with regard to nazi genocide are being silly in an attempt to discredit the validity of the story these pictures tell, these pictures do not lie. Minus the "final solution" (gas chambers, firing squads etc)... and we come very close to a déjà vu.

Dbates, 3rd of December as shown in the video you linked was a full three weeks before the Chanukka Siege of Gaza.

A fortnight before the video, 30 plus Hamas party officials were slaughtered in a Kidon hit by Israel and for 18 months previous there has been a full blockade imposed on Gaza by the Israelis.

All the photos shown above were taken before Cast Lead as well. I was just showing that what is being presented is only a snapshot of Gaza. If you were (Even today) to walk around you would see laughing children, open markets, and normal city life along side of the other issues that are present. Gaza is not a concentration camp. Certainly there are slums and bad areas, but this place is far from being what it's painted as. It is not a concentration camp.

I'll see if I can find a newer video of the area for you.

But this is human nature. Even after your mother, best friend or lover dies, you should eat.
THe children always laugh, pure life energy always laugh.
Open market=eating, basic natural needs etc..

We can only guess what area the video is covering. Some of you are under the impression that Gaza is the size of a city block.

"Gaza" is a city and "Gaza" is the strip of land that encompasses many cities, refugee camps and israeli settlements. Like New York is a city and a state.

As for all of the other videos we see, they are either in or near a refugee camp, a check point, a fence around a settlement or "security zone", at the edge of a palestinian community that is being cleared to make room for israel's interests.

Probably because the thread is in relation to Middle East Issues. So the pictures that are being posted are about "issues" and on topic with the thread title. Unfortuantely the people in Gaza and the West Bank are all expieriencing or at some point have experienced this. People can either go out and try to live a normal life and risk being killed, or stay home and be killed. Luck of the draw.

I guess when everything is going well then there are no issues to discuss. The whole point of this forum and of the news and the media is to discuss issues, and that is why they show the "issues".

Unfortunately not all of the issues are shown, only when they're big enough to get attention. Otherwise they aren't newsworthy and don't make it to the media. For example, in 2006 14,000 rounds of artillary were fired into Gaza by Israel but this didn't make news headlines.
