Every time the screen goes black is it possible the live feed is being hacked or overridden to make it black out? Maybe there's something they don't want us to see. I dunno, probably not but ever since the other day when we saw those diggers knocking down buildings and then all of a sudden Israeli news cut in instead I've been suspicious.

I doubt Israel is doing this. If Israel wanted to block the feed, they would have taken it offline all together. The feeds are coming to us through Israeli servers.

Hi rs, im not sure about this - i would have thought that they are being transmitted via satallite but i suppose it depends on whether israel is using these feeds for some sort of terror tactic or wether they have no control over them in which case im suprised they havnt tried to take them out.
Personnaly i doubt they have any control over them.

Ramattan is broadcasting it's feed through microwave, most likely to a substation in Israel or in Egypt, which then beams it upto satellite.

I don't think Israel is letting this feed through to shock the people in Gaza, because they are without electricity. Well 90% of them anyway.

I think Israel is allowing this to show it's people what the IDF are doing and also for their tv stations to grab footage for newsreports.

Sofar I've seen apache's and cobra's. But it looks to me that they use the cobra's more often than the apache's.

I'm the opposite, so far I've only seen apaches, only seen them about 3 or 4 times though.

That building nearby, to the south, what started it's fire? Did anyone see any fighting that close? I didn't.

I think it might have been cause by WP shells. They have been dropped in that area earlier on.

With all of this going on, I can see no way the Gaza fire crews could possibly attend to even an eighth of the fires in the city. Nor would they want to with Israeli forces constantly firing on emergency crews... even the Red Cross have been deliberately targeted by Israeli soldiers.

I do hope everyone made it out of that building. Likelihood is there's nobody equipped to help them if they're still trapped in there.

I wouldn't be surprised. The Israelis already bombed a UN school a few days back.

One really needs a stiff drink in hand to continue looking deeper into this conflict. I was just reading reports (and there's many of them) of the Israelis broadcasting over loudspeaker "This is the Israeli Defence Forces, we are asking all the people to leave their homes and go to the school. Ladies first, then men." (Translated)
But once the first people try to leave their house with a white flag indicating civilian/surrender, they are fired upon.

The BBC had an article on it. Here.

Of course, Israel is denying everything, just like the Phosphor bombs (of which we've watched them drop ourselves. Many times.)

How convenient for them that they're denying access to international human rights groups.

That building really is burning quite heavily now.

Again, I really hope everyone got out... and doesn't get shot by Israeli forces as they leave.

Hey folks, new to the thread and I haven't read the whole thing so sorry if this has been asked before.

I'm looking at the usstream/ramattan feed.

Why does the feed keep getting interrupted by what seems like a Michelle Obama interview?
