I really welcome you to ATS - I cant imagine that you have just joined in, but very nice postings from beginning, and use of your signature too... When I came back to follow situation today, I had some problem to find you at first, which really was first task - to get latest Gaza links!

I set you as my friend - more easy to find now...

Thanks - Keep up the good work!

I have no idea, I don't speak Arabic...
He's a doctor, maybe one of their crew got hit?

Could that two guys be our cameramen or is this just wild thinking?
I guess they aren't but would be kinda fun.. The doctor must be some kind of spokesperson for the hospitals wouldn't you think so? Shame we aren't borne to speak all languages

I should have started on arabic instead of spanish yesterday

And now it's over.. hm.. I hope we find out what it was about.

I understand a little Arabic.. it is a doctor.. he was saying the same things all the doctors say.. Stuff you don't need to be a doctor to know..

war is bad 7 out of 10 doctors say...

he said something about a mosgue and a school... but i couldn't understand whether or not they were hit or not

hope not

Anyway Aljazeera or Presstv will likely get this translated sometime today

I think it was just a 'regular' press conference. After searching on the net, it looks like Ramattan is holding them regularly to give updates to journalists in Gaza.

For anyone interested here is the time and weather for Gaza city showing sunrise/sunset and other useful info.. Wind direction is a useful one because with the smoke going in that direction we can get an idea what direction we are facing...

It's at the border of Gaza and Egypt, the first areas Israel hit. So you might see something, but most of it seems to be in and around Gaza City.

Hi guys, just getting a message saying the feed hes reached its customer limit or something like that. Any chance of some other links? Also i think the interest in the live feeds has risen quite quickly so if links to the cams can be posted regularly then it will help more people get to see what is really going down in gaza. Obviously i will post links up reg myself to.
cheers...cmr

Thank you very much for the warm welcome!

As for the poster above, as always the live Gaza feeds are in my signature (updated as often as I can). Has anyone else noticed the lack of drones/UAVs today? Before it was a continuous drone like WW2 planes as several circled the city but now you only hear one once in a while.

Yup, I haven't heard a drone yet. Maybe that's because the wind appears to be stronger and is blowing in the mic.
I've also noticed that there's been less machine gun activity compared to yesterday.

i guess they wait til tonight like last night... i do believe it's gonna be a rough night on those poor ppl again...

i wonder how the west would have reacted if it would have been the other way around. i dont think we would have waited with going in with peacekeeping forces anyway. AND after the wat there wouls surely have been war tribunals for any warcrimes. i really hope there will be something like that after this war.
