Stalin was really busy working on killing the 20 million he did well before Hitler came in. Here's some info on that:

well lets just think about that for one second....it doesnt have to be communism or a dictatorship, granted, but then i ask who would be president of the world? Would it be a "democracy" like we have here? Global elections, no doubt electronic, would be a farce. We all saw the NWO put king george in power here, EVEN THO HE LOST THE POPULER VOTE. They may call it somthing else, but it would be communism pure and simple. The world working together. If you are familier with scripture you will recall babylonia, that is a story of a one world government. God didnt like it then, he doesnt like it now.

If you don't understand how Bush won with less than Gore, you have no business talking about world politics.

I have actually heard both: Bush won the popular election, Bush lost the popular election. I don't know which to believe, because I've heard both from credible sources.

Just something to think about.

This has nothing to do with the NWO.

Back on topic or to chit-chat. Y'alls choice.

From what I have figured out (this may or may not be accurate).

Before all the recounts, Gore had more popular votes, Bush had more electoral votes (No conspiracy here, the forefathers just never expected there to be such #ty candidates that it would actually occur).

Had we recounted the votes the way Gore wanted, Bush would have won.

Had we recounted the votes the way Bush wanted, Gore would have won.

The court said "# it, Bush has more electoral votes, he wins".

But what does bush have to do with the NWO????

He seems humble enough..I meen he went down to california or wherever to visit the victims of this big hurricane.

I heard though that someone messed with the voting thing, and he was elected although he lost...

Maybe HE plans on being world leader????

It was a wee sidetrack, tends to happen when politics come up

Howver, I don't think Bush could be the world leader. Right now, the US is a democratic republic, and the population doesn't want us to become an imperial force. We can't take over the world.

That could, however, change given the right situation. We'll just have to wait and see, but I really don't see it happening.

On a pseudo-side note, what style of government do y'all think would work best for a new world order? I don't think democracy would work out too well. Too many groups hate eachother, and it could get messy, if say in the sub-nation of syria, they legalize shooting jews, or in the sub state of ISrael, they legalize shooting arabs. I think it would have to be some kind of dictatorship or a group of people who control everything, and would have to do it through fear. At least for the state the world is in today. Maybe one day it could become like the Federation in Star Trek, but no time soon

I know Ill be killed for this, but maybe a religious free NWO???

From what I see, religions cause war, because one group believes something, yet another group believes something else.

Anyhow, I think religions are all right as long as you dont hurt people while you practice/worship it.

Maybe we'd all have to invent some new kind of political system?

Nah, you couldn't have a religious free NOW, although they might try. God would be upset, and do something about it

Well, the Idea of a religious free NWO is pretty far off ANYHOW, because of the fact that people Have been so glued to their beliefs.

Heck, in the east, some arab kids dream of becoming suicide bombers for their country....

Its rather sad also. They tie pretend bombs to themselves and pretend to be martyrs.

with this kind of devotion, Im thinking youre right...

It will be a TEENSY bitty little while before we see any sort of religious free world. And like I said earlier, I respect peoples religions. but its not justified to hurt others with your beliefs.

With the Bush Administration in power? - absoultely !

I think I'd use a stronger word than 'bad' to describe a NWO with those degenerates in power.

It seems to be a common opinion that any large government is automatically corrupt. I'm not sure thats absolutely true under all circumstances but that maybe is a different topic. I would think that almost every political ideaology would imagine itself as the NWO if you think about it. The term NWO really has taken on some blackhat neferious connotations, hasn't it? Even the forum symbol for it is kind of sinister. hehe.

I've said before that we and the technology we create will bring about the NWO eventually. We'll get the implants (well, no one here will I'm sure) because eventually it will easier go through everyday life with them than it will without them (I bet GWB already has one). We'll get jacked in to the net as soon as it becomes possible because the games are cool. We watch the media even though some say it's controled. We know that and don't care because the special effects are good and its funny to see people cut each other down on sitcoms. Even the funky old white men who like to party in their wood paneled rooms are us. We're all the NWO and it's happening. Technology is forcing it on us. It's coming and the big question is, what form will it take and can it be directed into something positive instead of the negative that everyone is so afraid of.

There are countries that are 100 times worse than the US. And whoever says communism is dead is out of his/her mind.

We had Venezuela turn socialist and is converting communist fast, and now Spain turned socialist. Socialism is the first stage for communism.

People are not realizing that the worse forms of government are taking control, everybody wants to blame the US and every administration, while the real assholes are taking over.

well that was my initial point.

How do we know if the NWO is bad?

I just think itll be bad if someone like bush is in command of everything.

But personally, I dont want a chip in my stomach or arm..

I wouldnt feel human anymore.

Id feel like some kind of tool..

hell, were all basicly tools..

We work so hard for money, and the government dumps a load of bs taxes on us. BAM. 10000000$ income from the whole country. But its not enough. They keep going, raising taxes.

If the NWO comes into power during my life.

Dam, it had better be friggin good. Not some slave driving republic.

A benevolent one-world government would be as likely to succeed in the real world as communism did. It is a utopianistic ideal, which cannot exist other than on paper.
The danger of a global government, lies in the undeniable fact that humans are greedy. That is the reason power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. If people were benevolent by nature then communism would not be just idealistic, it would be the norm. Communism, in it's purest form, relies on the premise that people are more concerned about the good of the whole, than their own personal gain. If that were the case, we would not need to form a "world government" because we would already be working together for the common good.

People are instinctively greedy and manipulative, especially when they are placed in a position of power over other people. Who in their right mind would not fight to stay on top, once they made it up there? Would you want to be one of the "governed", knowing that you could be the one "governing"? History has demonstrated man's inability to avoid corruption. If people cannot prevent power from going to their heads in a single state or country, why would we think it possible that they could do it, once in control of the entire world? We have got to work out the problems in each of our own countries before we should even think about uniting them all under one power!

Another issue is the amount of diversity that exists in the world. I would not want the Queen of England telling me what to do, because she is not familiar with my way a life. France would not want Japan telling them how they should do things, for the same reason. The further away from the working class the governing class is, the more out of touch and unconcerned they become with the issues facing those in the real world.

That was the whole reason why the US was set up as a representative republic. The idea was that the states had the most power over domestic affairs, since they were closer to the people and were more familiar with their needs. They new the danger of a central, omnipotent government and warned us over and over to not let those in the federal government usurp the powers given to the states. It was a great idea, partly because it gave people living in one state the ability to move to another, if it's policies were more in line with their principles. It made it possible for us to live as we felt was best for us, rather than just assimilating everyone so that they reflect everyone else. What do you think would happen if someone tried to make the whole world politically correct? Do you think it would benefit mankind or turn the world into a bunch of mindless drones? My money is on mindless drones, personally. Where would you go if you wanted to live in a under a different form of government?

In a one world government, there can be no alternate perspectives to inspire debate and discussion. It literally, would become "either you're with us or with the enemy", since any opposition to the powers-that-be, would be considered defiance of their absolute authority.

While it would be great if the world could become all gummy bears and rainbows simply by uniting all of our countries under a single benevolent government; the fact is, people are selfish and power-hungry. Until we, as an entire species become enlightened/evolved enough to realize that happiness and peace will only come as a result of our selfless, concern for others, no form of centralized global rule stands a chance of ever being anything more than a corrupt dictatorship.

well now....I never really thought of world variety.. I geuss you're all right then. The NWO would probably cause chaos.

But then what would happen if finally the US/whatever country who wanted world power? would everyone just side against them???
