Ok, Im sorry if this has been posted before, But im curious....

What is the new world order?

and also, why is it bad????


I always thought up the idea of the world under a single flag.

I thought it would be good to see the world united.

But from what I hear, this new world order is supposedly bad.

Can anyone shed some light on it???

Well, it all depends on how you look at it. If the world was under one flag, there would be no place to go if you were feeling oppressed. Let's say, for example, China took over the world. No where could you go to get away from it. There would be no hope, either, because you couldn't escape the Earth by slipping over a boarder.

The reason, I think, people fear the NWO so much is because of the potential opression that could result. Abslout power corrupts absloutly.

If something stupid happened to Canada, Id probably go to the US.

It could be. The whole american government would have to be revamped to account for the rest of the world getting (maybe) voting rights. In which case, it would be the few (Americans) who decide the fate of many, since they would be voting on the rest of the world's voting rights.

And just because you have a democracy doesn't mean you can't be oppressed. Right after 9-11, if the patriot act was put before the people for a mass vote, it probably would have been made into law. Fear can be a powerful emotion, and if you have a government who knows and uses that, the people aren't really choosing anything at all.

So maybe, it could be a good thing, or it could be a bad thing. I don't really want to find out which

Just because most of the time it's people from the US bitching about how they're moving to Canada if the government imposes a cheese tax or some crazy # like that

I love the US, too. It's my home.

ON paper it sounds like a wonderful idea, the world united under one flag. Much like JJ said tho, absolute power corrupts absolutely. The major problem that I have with the NWO is that it would not be beneficial to the people. The concept is basicly world wide communism. As we can see from history, communism is another one of those ideas that may look good on paper, but is an utter failure in the real world. The elite rulers love it, but the people suffer.

It does not have to be communisum or a dictatorship under the right leaders it could be a good thing.

That's my point, too. It could be a good thing, but we wouldn't have any guarentees that it would be until it was done. It would be a gamble, and not one I would like to make, had I the choice.

I think you're thinking of Stalin, not Saddam. However, my biggest problem with communism, true communism, Marx communism, is that there's not really an incentive to perform better then the guy next to you. You're not going to get a raise or anything if you go above and beyond, because everyone gets the same amount. A CEO would be paid the same as a mail room clerk, so what would be the point of dealing with all the stress and work of being a CEO?

well lets just think about that for one second....it doesnt have to be communism or a dictatorship, granted, but then i ask who would be president of the world? Would it be a "democracy" like we have here? Global elections, no doubt electronic, would be a farce. We all saw the NWO put king george in power here, EVEN THO HE LOST THE POPULER VOTE. They may call it somthing else, but it would be communism pure and simple. The world working together. If you are familier with scripture you will recall babylonia, that is a story of a one world government. God didnt like it then, he doesnt like it now.
