Just like that? Did you even read or watch his story?

He speaks out for love, peace and forgiveness amongst all. Is this really so bad that people are now criticizing him and questioning him? Isnt this what we all want???

He is not calling for the death and destruction of anyone. He still loves "his Muslim" people and family, as he calls them. He isn't even calling for Islam to be destroyed.

I just amazed at some of the responses here. I suppose everyone would support him more, if he was still under Hamas' thumb and living the life he was raised to live. *shrug*

So if Bush and Hitler did the same you would forgive them just like *snap* that?

This is a conspiracy website, everyone has the right to be suspicious.

You wanna know something? These "terrorist" organizations are heroes in the Middle East. This guy would be considered as a traitor by the Muslims.

If George Bush converted to Islam, what would you say or where would you stand morally.

CIA abducts child for information and makes up BS to make dad abandon son.

Me bets anyone here $100 that CIA sends him to interrogation before and after interview.

Conspiracy! So much creativity, yet reality involved.

I think the real conspiracy here is muslims warping the news item and trying to turn it into a conspiracy it isn't out of guilt because it shows a negative side to Islam and the cause which is a sin which no muslim can endure.

The painting Islam as all perfect act does get tiring and predictable after a while.

He's converted to Christianity, ergo he's not likely to give an unbiased assessment of the situation within Hamas. Also, come on guys, this is on Fox News, hardly a wonderful source of information is it?

I think we know that Hamas isn't the most brilliant of parties in the world, but they were democratically elected and it doesn't excuse the fact that another democratically elected government is attempting to remove them, despite what Hamas is up to.

I am far from perfect. And forgiveness is something I struggle with. So is loving my enemy. However, this young man is trying his hardest to live this way NOW (as we ALL should) = completely opposite to how he was raised. And you FAULT him for that. That is absolutely crazy IMO.

He is considered a traitor. In fact, there is a target on his life. They want him DEAD. Because to them, converting to another religion is a big no-no.

He did not convert overnight. If you would have paid attention and listened to him, it took time and he was having "2nd thoughts" of how he was being raised for very long, while he was being raised. He weighed both "religions" and put a Bible and Koran next to each other and studied both and decided which one was best for him.

He is filled with love and peace and compassion, rather then hate and murder and revenge. Isn't this GOOD?! He is calling for PEACE & LOVE & FORGIVENESS !! Isn’t this GOOD? He is not calling for the destruction of anyone or any religion. Isn’t this GOOD?

And I never said you have no right to be suspicious. You do. But before you speak out against him, maybe you should read and listen to what this very well balanced young man has to say. He lived a life that neither you nor I ever did. If anyone knows anything on this topic, it is him. Deny Ignorance
and embrace what he is trying to tell the world.

Unless you can find a way to debunk him and his message? If so, I will most certainly read it and take it all in, just like I do everything. If you are suspicious, then please debunk it and show us how he is a liar and how Fox has distorted the truth.

Just because a source is biased in one way or another, doesn't mean the people they put on their station or in their publication are liars or the message untrue. They may try to portray Israel in a good light, and it may not always be warranted. Both sides of made major screw-ups. But you are kidding yourself if you think an extremist group is not running the show in Gaza. They train their people to hate Americans, hate Israel, to kill themselves for the greater good, and that killing civilians in Israel is OK.

Israel may try to paint a prettier picture, but Gaza is full of brainwashed soldiers who are taught to hate at a young age. They are not innocent.

There is no escape from what we are by nature except through a rebirth of the supernatural Spirit of Love in us. Neither Abraham nor Mohammad can do this for anyone; but the God of both, and all mankind, can.

Here, this is NOT Fox News:

www.telegraph.co.uk...

Oh, im sure you will say: hardly a wonderful source of information.

Which would be a reliable source? Al Jazeera which is posted on this site as a reliable source of information over and over. Iranian Press?

Something tells me that NOTHING would open your eyes (and others) and cause you to believe what he has to say, because you have no desire to believe it. You dont want to believe that a man can be raised in a certain way, a certain lifestyle and choose to change his life and speak out against it risking his life and his families life.

Whatever. All this hurts my head.

Oke, now we have the suspicion established.

What is the motive behind all of this.

Why the right hand man of the Hamas leader.

What anyone do if he was his dad.

Why Christianity and not atheism if he had a revelation and loves peace so much.

Guys look at this article from 8 years ago.

www.independent.co.uk...

'My Taliban son was a sweet kid, not a traitor'

The father of the American captured with Taliban fighters said his son was not a traitor but a "very sweet kid" who was the victim of his own bad judgement.

The father of the American captured with Taliban fighters said his son was not a traitor but a "very sweet kid" who was the victim of his own bad judgement.

...

"He's really not much more than a boy," he said. "We want to give him a big hug. I also want to give him maybe a little kick in the butt for not telling me what he was up to and for not getting my permission, because I would not have given him permission to go to Afghanistan."

The US Defence Secretary, Donald Rumsfeld, said that Mr Walker was in custody of US special forces near Mazar-i-Sharif and that his fate had not yet been decided.

This is the example of what would happen to the American counterpart of this Yousef guy. Death penalty, public outrage, media rape-age.

But look at how "Yousef" is treated here in the U.S. for treachery against his own belief and people.

Sigh. I'm not disagreeing that the Hamas movement is odious. However, it says on the daily telegraph link itself that he's somewhat against Islam and states that it is 'not working'. Surely that counts as bias on his part?

I agree with you firmly...Hamas are scumbags...no question about it....
but you need to look at Israeli deeds first before you come to your opinion...

Wow. Hiow can you not get behind a religion like that? Not mention all those virgins.

I would have strongly surprised me that this discussion here had lead to a solution for a problem that has been there for many decades.

May i phrase some hypothetical questions here ?

Would the region be better of if Israel was not created amidst Islamic countries ?

Would the region be better of when we had no Palestinians ? (and i do not mean to exterminate them, just imagine there are none)

Would it be a better place if Americans would stop interviening (miltary or politically) in all kinds of regions all around the world ?

Just some food for thought.....

To be honest, imho, it is a big NO on all 3 of them. Things would surely look different, but it wouldn't make the region a better, safer or more peacefull place to be, sadly enough.
