Sorry to post this again,my goof,,, but what if...

What if, what if...
What if in our fear and maybe even ignorance of arrogance, we placed all our attention on Y because it is in our back yard , when the real focus should have been in Indo.?
What if Y were the hiccup to Indo. activity>?
And to note your thoughts on the planets..
If we all believe that the planets are held in orbit around the sun and that these planets also are able to hold their satellites in place again with gravity., Then why is it so hard to believe that the planets in alignment can have an effect on our planet.
My back ground is in Physics and Geology. AND , I keep an open mind.
I liken children who will line up holding hands and swing around in a circle to the orbits and planets. our planets do not fly off because we are holding on to one another.
Simplistic analogy I know. But that pull from our moon makes tides.
That same pull reaches to our core not just the surface. Any malleable material.
Though I have not seen a study on it , even underground Aquifers.
My folks have worked in the oil industry, I know they have done many output studies but I do not think any thought to correlate out put to moon phase. And why would they.
Maybe if someone had access to that data and had the inclination to look we might know.
My big point though is 'what if' we were looking at all this data - backwards?

Well cant exactly tell whats going on at Yellowstone, they cant get the lakes sensor up and running. Kinda weird I havent seen it go off for two days before. I looked back thru a couple years of recorded data. I didnt look at every single day but I didnt notice anywhere it cut out this long. Last time I checked the cam it looked sunny enough to power it, I mean it would be working just fine right now.

Its not difficult for me to understand how planitary alighnments would have an effect on our world. Thats what I am pointing out, that some outside influence on our magnetic and/or gravity field is creating pulls and pushes on the plates, creating these earthquakes. But it is also creating all the strange weather patterns that have been observed over the last few years.

Im not a astrologist, just a simple EE engineer who understands the physics of things, even celestrial mechanics..to a degree.

Its like taking 8 small ball magnets suspended on strings, with one mid sized one in the center and arrange them in a solar system pattern, then moving one or another off its normal orbit path or even bring another outside ball magnet near the 8 and center, and something is going to go out of kilt if not the whole thing.

There is definately some reason why suddenly, within the last 2 months, that all these earthquakes start showing up and now seem to be moving from one area to another. What that something is..is the question. These cant just be normal geological activity for no reason. Too many happening too close to one another in so short of a timeframe.

Or maybe its just the Earth relieving some stress and strain we have been giving it over the thousands of years and its saying "hey take better care of me or else"??

Cheers!!!!

I don't get the "problems" either.
I'm still thinking: there is more going on there then we know.

Oh, big time volcanos over there.
In the Philippines alone:

"Meanwhile, the geologic explanation of the lakes' origins is equally fascinating. The lakes, scientists say, were craters of ancient volcanos. They form part of what is known as the "San Pablo Volcanic Field" - which includes other mountains in the area such as Mt. Makiling, Mt. Kalisungan, Mt. Atimla, Imoc Hill, and Mt. Mabilog."

sorry - but I can't find the part where they're talking about an object in the sky - can you copy paste that part?

thanks

OK I'm totally confused why all of the sudden my USGS is alerting me to these events from a few days ago.

I'm trying to track down if they're all unreported before - I know for example, that the one from the Santa Cruz Islands hasn't shown up anywhere but on my Shakecast.

Yes .
We are talking the same talk.
We are both asking why it is so hard for others to even think about.
SCIENCE!! must have analytically proven facts.!!
A lot of things were discovered by people who dared to think outside of the box....
Interesting thoughts on weather. I will keep an eye out for such thoughts and possible anomalies.

Hi.. Followed since pg 97. Here in quebec -canada, and in Ohio with some friends, literally thousands and thousands of geeses were seen following the north-east path since august, all the way to a big rush in october, thousands at once, I saw them myself, quite weird. Then still some in november. Just so you know, nobody knows where they stoped, but I have some friends south of labrador and they saw it too

Peace and thanks for infos

This is interesting because typically down here in Dallas we see quite a few Canadian Geese migrating south for the winter, so much so that there are droppings all over the place and the parks that have ponds are usually full of them grabbing a drink. Two things I noticed this past Oct-Nov were that there were very few if any Canadian Geese and the migration of Monarch Butterflies was also extremely low.

RSOE is back up and is reporting a 5.6 just off the Western Mexico coastline in the Baja California region. Awful lot of earthquakes the past week in Southern Europe and the Middle East as well. Hate to say it but I think the Web Bot guys were right. Anyone in the West seeing anything
unusual related to animals or aural phenomena?

We are seeing mallard ducks in East Florida for the first time in my life, and I wish they'd stay, they remind me of Wisconsin. :-)

Unfortunately earthquakes older than 168 hours (a week) gets removed from the list. We should email the webmaster to add an option to extend this time so that we can see every earthquake occurred beneath Yellowstone lake since the swarm started. I already did, but if more prople start asking maybe the request will be taken more in consideration.
