Dear Santa,

I was hoping this year that you could bring the people of Gaza something this year that they've desperately needed for years: some damned common sense.

Santa, the remainder of the world knows that there are two kinds of items: NEEDS, and then WANTS.

Since these Gazans prefer to pass on NEEDS and concentrate on WANTS, such as guns, rockets, and mortars to fire on Israeli civilians, I suppose its safe to assume they have spent sufficient of those millions and have already taken care of their NEEDS, more specifically, food, water, sanitation, medicine, and schools.

That would mean that with all the millions of dollars they get each year, they logically should have plenty of clean water, baby food, adult food, clothing, toiletries, and other BASICS they should require.

In fact, Santa, they should have all these items stockpiled.

If you do decide to bring these Gazans some common sense, be very, very careful on your approach. They are so busy lobbing rockets, mortars, and shooting recklessly across the border that you just may get your ass shot down by accident.

No use getting killed and messing it up for the rest of us.

Second thought, don't bother. Rational people, using rational problem solving, spending millions and millions of dollars will automatically take care of what's important to them. (In this case, munitions.)

With all the fireworks there, it's Christmas ever day!

I'm basically with you regarding your comments on p.2, however I wish to say that your punchline:

pro the Israeli and the Palestinian people being blessed with governments that have the wisdom and stature to work towards mutual understanding, deep, lasting reconciliation and a two-state solution marked by an end to violence.

To summarize: many Christians are appalled at the idea of being associated with the policies of Western governments. Not to mention the way consecutive US administrations have duped members of the electorate who claim to be Christian into supporting their policies under the auspices of 'God bless America'.

Now that was beautifully stated.

Sad that this so-called "child" is asking Santa for basic needs, when his own "government" would rather buy weapons than food, etc.

We all really understand that this "letter" is just another propaganda ploy, right?

Thats the whole problem, hoping for Santa to solve the problem and letting rogue groups derail national efforts to put an end to your little wish list. My guess is your sitting nice in warm in a home with four walls and will be eating a nice hot meal this xmas. Its a really sad thing that is happening and it is a shame the international community is not doing more to pressure Israel into sorting itself out.
What i find really hard to understand is that the Israeli people have been persecuted for two thousand years, having mot live in other peoples countries and being second rate people. Now that they have there own country they are doing exactly the same thing to ther people. You would hope they would have learned from there own past experience. If anything they have learnt the opposite.

As a neighboring Muslim country, do you feel no empathy for your fellow Muslims? Why is it that your borders are as secure as the Israel's.

It would seem to me that Egypt would want to help fellow Muslims out of their suffering. or is the suffering helping the cause of israel's destruction.

I hope your having fun isolated from the whole word at the North Pole. Sometimes i think not know whats going on is best way of keeping sane. Please keep this country out of any crap with Israel and tell our Government to stop supporting their war actions.

Also, please let all the Gazan PRISONERS have a nice festive season, even though that probably wont happen.

The ultimate reality is obviously that who ever has a bigger fist, wins.
People do not give a damn about each other, people want to see others suffer for enjoyment. Don't say that you like everyone because everyone in the West hate Muslims and Communists, and everyone in the West want to see those entities suffer and get bombed.

In the East, people thinks of the West as imperialists and selfishly wasteful munchers.

If you think what Israel is doing is correct then just forget ALL of your "human rights" beliefs.

Letter back from Santa.

Using the good will of the christmas message, when you don't even believe in Christmas or Santa is a joke. You are looking tears and thoughts from a world of pain, Israel are not one people, as your people are not, and if they were, you would, i'm sure, have stopped bombing busses, firing rockets and blowing their people sat in cafe into little bits many years ago.

Go away and ask yourself about the words "holy and war" and if you really want water, stop killing the people who are putting it into bottles. You say Israel is a terror nation, but if giving the choice, I would not land my raindeer in the muslim end without an armed escort.

The salient point I would like to leave is that we are all human beings, and we are killing each other over lines on a map - a map that was drawn by people who are long-since dead.

Why is that? Is it about 'owning' stuff? Is it about being 'obeyed'? Is it about you killed my dad, who killed your uncle, who killed my grandfather, who killed my great grandmother's cousin - your second cousin twice removed.....

Pathetic. They scribble a place name on a map and suddenly we have to kill each other over it. Real nice.

Its a shame to see so much Jews (as i suspect most of the racist comments, in this thread are) being so disqusting in their behaviour towards others, the man is making legitimate claims and i know some 100 or 1000´s of the millions who are living in Gaza are firing homemade rockets at israel, but still we have 51% population under 15 and they have never asked for any wars. So dont jugde the kids in this situation thats just not fair, humane nor in gods books anywhere.

For one, I am not Jewish if you are talking about me. Second, palestinians are not a race, so nothing "racist" has been said.

So, if what the OP posted is true, exactly how did 51% of the population get to be under 15? How many birth control pills could the government there have purchased for the price of one shipload of iranian arms.
