I do not know much about the "Gulf of Aden", but from what I have seen so far I am very interested in the topic. And it certainly looks weird to have such a large naval presence there.

Iran just announced they are sending a fleet to the Gulf of Aden as well with +100 cadets on it for training.

By "fleet" they mean 1 boat they made all by themselves which will likely need a tugboat to bring it back home.

The Gulf of Aden vortex was likely created by HAARP looking for submarines under the water. Oopsie it ended up creating a magnetic anomaly altering the Earth's core...sorry 'bout that folks.
