What do you think are some possible Alien Motives?

2008 has increased my curiousity with UFOlogy. I don't know why but this idea came across to me tonight:

What do you think the "motives" are for aliens visiting our planet?

This can be an "approach" or a "style"

I for one, think, their approach, is business like. If aliens are real, and if their approach was business like, they would work with earthlings in an incentive program. They would approach those in power and hire a "group" to be their "bodyguards" on Earth. If you were a businessman this would be fairly easy.

What I'm basically saying, is the idea of a men in black, seems fairly reasonable.

"If I came to a planet with superior technology, and since, I didn't want to leave any evidence behind, I would hire a group to "handle" security to ensure no evidence was left behind, because the consequences would be tremendous."

If you came with a simple approach like that, then one would assume, that the possibility that we have a group currently on our planet is highly possible.

I know others have stated AMOTIVE, but I was wondering what you think?

Because I always think about how we use 5% of our brain, and I think a lot of answers can be solved by thinking!

This is highly speculative but the best thing I can come up with is research.

If they arrived thousands of years ago as some believe they could have studied human development.

While observing global warming changes they can study that.

Information can be sent throughout the galixty where ever they are.

Commuting or invading is much less likely due to the large distances. One possibility is that it took an enormous effort to send a mission here. Once they arived they would rely on local resources for whatever they are doing. This would rely mostly or entirely on automation and artificial intelligence. Perhaps once arriveing they would raise life and train them with the use of artificial intelligence and automation to get started or cryogenetics.

If this is true once they complete their research they could comunicate and share the benifits of the research. The fact that they haven't communicated yet if they arrived indicates an ulterior motive.

Or this could just be science fiction.

I've always thought we're part of some galactic zoo, with a lot of finger pointing and laughing involved. Only, it's not us doing the laughing.

Id have to agree, studying us, observing us, watching us.

The human race is very unpredictable. If I was an ET I would be concerned about what the human race was going to do next as well.

I have many theorys.

One is that aliens are curious. They want to know about and study other life forms in our multi verse. They are looking for the same answers such as how and why they are here.

Another is that we are a genetic experiement. For any purpose.

Its impossible to know what their motive is. Their brains have to be so much different its plausable to say that it is impossible to understand anything about them.

Were comparing a simple grass plant to that of a monkey. Both living, yet drastically different. Why does the plant grow?

In my opinion we will never fully understand aliens and our origins. Its not possible, our brains cant comprehend the topic. Try explaining nuclear physics to a dog.

I have been here on earth for barely more than five years. It has not taken near that time, nor the whole time this body has been incarnate, for me to realize why any other species would come here to watch earth. Humans, in their current form, are dangerous. They would conquer the whole of eternity if given the chance.

This is not speaking of the intent behind your species, only the mechanism of action. As long as humanity as a whole is controlled by a few, as long as this species is tricked into acting in such a negative fashion, you will not be trusted and will logically be watched. Any one of you has the chance to act lawfully in the Universal sense.

Be well to those you meet, do not go against the free will of others as long as it does not infringe on your will, and so on and so forth. It is logical in forward and reverse. Live your lives, in best you can. Nothing that is universally viable will judge you negatively. This planet will be split, and those who wish to serve only themselves and through them negative forces will be separated from those who wish to help anyone who needs it.

The only true motive of my race, or more properly those which are left of it, are to help you escape the control mechanisms of the dark. They love death and destruction and subjugation. We love all, but only approve of love freedom and justice. Everyone must make their choice.

Aliens dont use english. Why would they need to comunicate with such a "volitile and impervious" race? Thanks. Your a human, get over it, now go see a doctor, please.

And why wouldnt we use english? Since I am a guest on earth of your race, and was allowed the use through contract of a human body, why wouldnt I use english? Of course, the only aliens on earth must be the homeless people speaking "gibberish" according to you. They must be the real aliens. Im sure you treat every "insane" person you meet as such. Or for that matter the tribal people in Africa. After all, aliens cant speak english right?

It is a logical assumption to think that every E.T. on this planet has regular access to a ship. That is not always the case, and more specifically even if I did it would not be conducive to your good health for me to park right above your house and say hello!

Anways. It may not have occured to you, but some of the E.T.'s feel so bad about your situation that we have agreed to host ourselves in human bodies and "feel your pain" both literally and metaphorically. Members of my clan, a long time before you existed, came here and attempted to help humanity through a tough time by supplying specific technology... but it didnt help because the same beings who control your race now manipulated the technology into a further stranglehold on humanity. We didnt get you into this mess but it doesnt mean we wont try to help you out of it.

If at any point you decide to be more open, then there are plenty of beings to help you see. And my being "upset" as you say with my reality has a bit to do with my being from outside this earth, but theres a lot more to it than that. If you want to see things from such a narrow perspective, feel free. I dont enjoy this reality, but I accept it none the less.

No doubt. I subscribe to the galactic quarantine theory. I can't remember who it was, but someone of repute said it's not a matter us accepting the alien presence, it's the aliens accepting us. We have a long way to go in our society and evolution. I think we've intentionally shot at alien ships to gain technological insight. Look at our nuclear arsenals and world wars, the aliens are containing further human expansion until some point in the future.

To answer your question, you'd really have to ask an alien, then ask another alien, on and on, but you may arrive at 100 different equally truthful answers that vary dramatically.

Motives? Not "visiting", touring, researching, more like teachers, wardens, guides, they have jobs, like we do, only it's to perpetuate the illusion we live, to guide us and test us.

Motive well, clearly I think they have come here.

They obviously have no beer and don't know how to make it.
But they can smell it so they come 50 quintillion light years to steal it.

Another theory is they have come to cause mass pandemic's of male pattern baldness.
They are spreading a bacteria that is making men go bald, so then the women find them unattractive and don't want to mate with them.
Then eventually they will rock up with full bushy heads of hair and all the women will love them and they will have harems of many women.

Maybe "they" have always been here.

Haha, this was a great read, and thanks for your response.

I was more intending to use the "motive" as a tool to explain certain conspiracy theories. You don't have to say their overall motive and what their intentions are, who knows what the answer to that is.

But I guess whatever their motive(s) might be, they would certainly hire a "crew" to work for them on the planet ensuring whatever guidelines the aliens set out for the "crew" to carry out/follow alien orders. And the "crew" would supposedly be the underground gov't/MIB/whatever you want to call it guys.

Whatever they are here for, we cannot figure out on our own. However, I think one can assume that since they are sighted on a somehwhat regular basis, you can safely assume they are in communication, possibly under contract, with some sort of earthly agency. I don't think the aliens are just stupid buzzing around "sight seeing". They probably discovered our planet and thought, "what can we get out of this?"

That is if they "discovered" it, they may have created life on our planet.

So, it seems there are 2 possibilities:

1. Motives based on "discovering" Earth.

2. Motives based on "creating" life on Earth.
