"Stunning UFO picture" huh...

It's not stunning at all but that doesn't mean it's not an alien spacecraft. It could be a bird, but there's no way of confirming that 100%.

UFOs sometimes appear blurred in photographs because of the distortion of light they create while operating.

Definitely not stunning, but you can't just write it off as a bird either. It could be anything.

.
No, it is not stunning. Most ATS'ers could probably find several dozen examples of this same flying out of focus bird, in numerous threads here. But it is not really worth the effort to drag those links into this thread. Yes, it is not going to be possible to do any meaningful analysis without the EXIF data for this photo.

UFOs sometimes appear blurred in photographs because of the distortion of light they create while operating.

Now THAT conclusion is a huge leap in understanding the nature of UFO photographs and the operational characteristics of the UFO.

Yep, after seeing dozens of bird ufo photos (just here at ATS) and no supporting data for the photo, we CAN write it off.
Peace

Isn't it about time Teslaandlyne chimes in about some Tesla coils and give us the explanation of how ufo's operate?

Man....when i think of stunning, i think of HD 10 megapixel, awesomeness.....what a let down.

That could be anything, my thoughts are a bird. But there's no way to say what it is, because its the opposite of 'stunning', its crud....

Now I have to wipe my comp. screen again. I was thinkin the same thing as I wrote my last reply. Tooo funny.
Who knows, maybe Teslaandlyne has it right. It just gives me a headache trying to follow his/her thought process.
I still say it is a bird.
Peace

Well, I don't know about all of you, but generally when I'm out and about, I notice birds in the sky, as well as aircraft, and a few other things like clouds, insects, seeds, paper/plastic bags, pollen, bats, meteors, satellites, stars, planets, space junk, balloons, sun dogs, lightning, rainbows, and even a tornado once (I'm sure I've missed a few!). I've also seen 3 UFOs, which were most probably one of the above phenomena.

Mostly though, when I'm outside it's birds... there aren't any "flying saucers" or "triangles", or "orbs"... so if I take a photo which has a smudge like UFO on it, and it's a toss up between "orbs" and "sea gulls"... well, it doesn't take Sherlock Holmes to figure out which is more likely.

To sllapur: Did you think to ask your friend if there were any birds or aliens flying around (even on the ground) that she saw when she took this photo?

Wow, another total ATS bashing! GJ! you all should be very proud! ATS has grown by leaps and bounds for this. Jump right out and totally SLAM a guy, LOL you sound like the media and the PTB would be against a credible witness!

Take a minute here to take a chill, The OP may be just an over excited kid who saw a weird image on a photograph. Now, granted you all are way too advanced to be fooled by such a site, but maybe he is not.

Why not just inform him of his misdirection, instead of flaming the crap out of him?

Don't you realize this kind of action may very well prevent a true sighting from being posted? Do you care? If not then quit coming here.

This crap makes me WAY more sick than overzealous thread starters.

I would love if people who have good abilities with image-editing programs or image-analysis programs would take a look at this image, and show some research. I am sure that I see a domed-craft, with a 'ghost' image chasing

There isn't anything to analyze IMO and Ive done my fair share around here. To me, it is a bird and what you see is MOTION blur from the camera and the movement of the bird, NOT 'ghost image chasing"

OR

I think it could also be someone taking a picture from a moving vehicle (thus the wonky leveled picture) and that is a bug or maybe dirt on the window. Looks like the trees might be a bit blurred too.

Its not stunning, sorry.

Also, why did you post a cropped photo with all the EXIF data removed? Impossible to analyze an edited photo!!

A couple of things here lend you no credibility. #1, of friend of your girlfriend took the pic. Another 3rd party pic and story.

#2 You say you live in Chile and type perfect English but yet your location in your avatar says Los Angeles, CA.

golly gee.....

The person that posted this didn't even take the photograph!!!
That kinda makes any rational questioning of the OP impossible.

Some girl he knows from another country took a random picture of a hill and some shrubbery and has a blurry looking splotch on it does lend itself to positive responses.

If the OP took the pic himself, maybe, atleast he might get a few people trying to be helpful.

I as A PLUMBER, was able to recognize the photo as rubbish.

I don't know anything about digital imaging. Yet people with far more knowledgeable and expertise agree with me.

So what does that tell you.

That was the reasoning behind all the sarcasm and "funny" posts.

Also the reason why the OP choses not to participate in the discussion.

They know it's BS! If you posted some "stunning" pic. Wouldn't you wait around for some conversation, or at least try to help?

They left almost straight after their opening post.

They had no intentions to find out what it might be

Yes, I agree with you all, I'm not saying there is any credibility here, just that maybe you should try to lead and not just destroy.

He got that pic second hand, yes I saw that. But if he's a bit "impressionable" he may have been so stoked he thought it was awesome.

Don't worry ATS'ers the fakes will be disclaimed. That is certain. That's why we're here right?

All I'm saying is ... Give you're opinion on the pic, respectfully, and let the truth fall the way it will.

You would want the same for a pic you posted right?

The PTB are here...get used to it. Oh and, please feel free to use the alert button to alert a mod. of any perceived violations of the T&C.(ie:"flaming") a serious offence here at ATS, as I'm
sure you are aware, seeing that you have recently read them.

Duly noted, and addressed in my earlier post's about exif data and providing other supporting data.

Don't you realize this kind of action may very well prevent a true sighting from being posted? Do you care? If not then quit coming here.

The aforementioned "PTB" most certainly are highly aware of this, and will utilize any and all means to disrupt it.The bar for the propensity of "stunning photos" has been raised. Thanks
Oh, and welcome to ATS!

This crap makes me WAY more sick than overzealous thread starters.

Stunning......just utterly stunning.

I feel no need to use the alert button. I'm not really trying to bash you guys, and Zeptepi, your comments were of an informational nature, so why did you take offense? Granted you laughed along with some stuff, but you were in no way "flaming".

And honestly I didn't mean to "bash" the bashers, just trying to make a point.

And I don't believe I ever backed up the OP that the pics were "stunning", I believe their "inconclusive" at best. (which means useless).

But I FIRMLY believe, for every one you totally blast, there's a guy out there that's saying, naw, I'm not posting it. What if he's the one? (And to big of an idiot to know it).

Then I say thank you to that person not posting it.

The "holy grail" is well worth a couple of sticks and stones.

Hell, I think even Jesus got sticked and stoned for standing up for himself. Of course, if you believe in all that nonsense.

I don't think we go that far here.

Besides, a few words here and there never killed anyone. Or did it? What was that news article about the kid who killed himself on his web cam?
