Seriously.
You are all far too paranoid.
This is definitely a problem on ATS. I sometimes wonder if ATS is filled with paranoid schizophrenics and people who are easily influenced by them?
In 1998, Celente told Money Magazine that, as the population grows older, “Americans will be spending more time at home than ever before both for pleasure and business.” Imagine that. You grow old, retire, and then you suddenly have more time. How the hell did Celente know?
Asked by CBS News in May 2005 to comment upon where Dillard’s planned to go, Celente had this to say: “There is nothing Dillard’s has that you can’t find in 1,000 other places. America is vastly overstored.” Take out “Dillard’s” and sub it in with another department store chain name, and you begin to see what little Celente’s remarks say.
"In the City of God there will be a great thunder, Two brothers torn apart by Chaos, while the fortress endures, the great leader will succumb", The third big war will begin when the big city is burning"

Again people are warning us over and over, and all we do is ignore them, and close our eyes and pretend everything is going to be ok.
Obama, CFR memeber, elitist who leaves his black brother live in a mud hut, is going to take care of our bills yea!!!!!
Celente was right! there is a huge problem because our nation is in denial, just like we were about the recession now soon to be depression.
I heard they are going to have protests outside the FED banks, find out where they are in your area and go shut the jerks behind this down and give power back to the people.

You're blaming this on Obama? He's not even in office and the economy has been in shambles for the past few years. Is that his fault too?
With Obama's help, people can avoid riots, because they will be able to feed their families.

I absolutely don't support what the Socialist Republicans are doing, but weren't a lot of people blaming the first Bush for all the crap that our second worst president ever, left smouldering for Bush to handle? It's called 'spend, tax, spend, overregulate, spend some more'. For awhile, it seems to do good, then that smelly stuff hits the fan, but hey, you are out of office anyways. It's the next rats' problem. I say second worst, because the first sold our highest nuclear secrets to our worst enemies, got caught, then SHE gave the money back and claimed innocense!

Just face it, it's all over. We can rebel all we want but the agenda of the global elite will be carried out regardless of what we do or how we feel. It's a shame that it has to be this way, but this is the result of people not caring. The next time I hear someone say "I don't care", I swear I'm going to pick up my fist, and hit them so hard, their entire head might fall off.

It serves no purpose to worry about these things. Too many of "us" (those that would even consider these situations as possible) lose sleep over it, sitting up all night on message boards debating how deep the # is that we're standing in. If you actually do something about it, you'll be amazed at the weight off your shoulders.
Some of us talk about crusading against "impending doom". Stop talking and start crusading.
Some of us talk about preparing to survive the "impending doom". Stop talking and start preparing.
I can't believe how many posts I see where people ask: "Should I buy a 50 lb sack of rice?". Well, if it's troubling you enough to ask if you should, then you certainly should. Don't ask again, just go get your rice and quit worrying about it. Once you've quit worrying about it, you'll feel better, and emanate a much more positive energy. If you're worried that the store shelves will be empty next Wednesday, do something about it, and move on.
Seriously, I'd like to see a study on the life expectancy of ATS members as compared to non-members. Seems to me that many of us are raising our own anxiety levels to unhealthy levels. How are we to survive a situation X, if we've been "freaked out" for 5 years before it even happened? Enduring the harshest scenarios requires a sound mind and body. Neither of which is a side effect of high anxiety.
Those that feel it's necessary, shut off your computers and go buy your guns and ammo, stock up on food and supplies, fortify the entrances to your home or place of refuge, dig your moat and fill it with acid, pop the top on a cold one, and wait for the S to hit the F.
Those that don't, well, probably aren't reading this thread.
I know one thing for sure, none of my neighbors think I'm a wacko for having a years worth of food and supplies stored away in my basement. It's like a gun for self defense: I don't have it because I want to use it, but I'll sure be happy to have it if any of the "wacko's" end up being right.
Good luck to all of us, we need it now, and will probably need more in the near future. Watch your neighbors back, and do something nice for someone before you go to bed.
