Male Births Declining

Haven't gone through all of it, but did the first few posts, but isn't it natural that the less war we have, the less imperative to breed males for the front line. In different environmental conditions, primates have fluctuations in male female ratio, which are noticeable, but the sample size is (from the last I heard) still too small for us to call it statistically significant.

What part of the world do you come from? I'm a 26 year old male, recently married. I have yet to meet a single woman under 30 that wants children. Attitudes towards early marriage and early family life are certainly changing. My wife and I were together for 4 1/2 years before we got married. Heck I at least entertain the thought that I might want to have a child some day, my wife on the other hand, is absolutely repulsed by the idea of children. She'd get her tubes tied if they would do it for her. With the financial position that having a family can put you in, it's understandable to me why a lot of people don't want that. Kids are expensive. Makes sense to me why a lot of people want to wait, do you think you're going to be more financially stable at 22 or at 32?

I live in Australia

ok so the problem is that those who want children early are simply not finding each other?

i think we might also have been led to have unrealistic expectations

we all want Hollywood beautiful in the one we fall in love with, and of course everyday people are not like that

i talk a lot to girls who work as phone sex operators and the one biggest turn of for them? pictures of their callers penises

and you would think that would be the one thing girls would be delighted to look at.

so is that because the ones that are in movies are so diferent from real life ones that most guys have?

I think our wildest 'sci-fi' imaginations will be fully realized within the next 2 centuries tops. Maybe even within this century. Beyond that is simply beyond our imagination.

Of course this is contingent on our World's industrial society not devouring itself prior to this point

for young women to have babies at a young age we have to educate men to want to marry and have children early cos most girls want to have children with someone who will be a father to those children as it is known that it is not good for a child not to have a father's presence in their lives

so over to you guys - tell us how do we stop you lot telling us lies just to have sex so that we can stop wasting our precious child bearing years on you and move on to the guys who do want to have a family with us?

Two words OPEN RELATIONSHIP. Women have to come to terms with the fact that men are programmed to 'plant their seed' in as many women as possible.

Often times men that are cheating on their loved ones do it for the sex. Nothing more. There are no feelings other then the act of sex. So it may seem pig headed put if women don't want to be lied to and 'strung along' then they need to be a little more open to the male psyche.

Yep my thoughts exactly, where do inventions come from? The mind. That's why the so called sci fi stories will one day come close to reality, because if they can think it, it's possible to create it. We use our imagination for every new invention. That's the connection.

sorry - but anyone who thinks love should be enough is a dreamer - all divorcing couples were head over heels in love once

I think we have been set up by pop culture to believe that love is enough and that would mean that you and I have been watching too many movies and listening to too many romantic songs

This isn't neccassaraly true. I know a fair amount of women doing this as well. My SO's ex did this to him... she just wanted a babysitter for her kid and a roof over her head. She cheated on him several times, and when found out said he loved him, she just didn't know what she wanted, etc. In the end he stuck it out because of her kid, but he kicked her out one night after she started pretty much having sex with a friend of theirs right in front of them. She called the cops, but lost, lol.

I personally think we'll be ok. Everyone I know is pretty much having baby boys... at least in my family they are...

and I will NEVER EVER settle for that EVER

so that is that

If a man cannot love me and respect me enough to forgo his jollies for 'us' then sod him - I dont want him - no matter what - forever and ever - I would rather wait till I find one who is not making his decisions with his little head!
