Multiple times I quoted Jesus in this discussion, and you dismissed them over and over. Multiple times you called me wrong, and then proceeded to repeat exactly what I said as your own. Just like when Jesus said not even he can change a fool in his ways, and you flat out called me a liar about it.

And then to make matters worse, just because someone doesn't agree with your interpretation exactly, you go off in a dualistic mindset and pretend that they don't know things. The rewards you seek in the Bible verses are only for those that have turned their life over to Jesus by his free will. You can't just pull verses of reward and blessings and expect reward without being born again. This is why I don't answer all the questions that you have. As evidenced by your "debate" you are not seeking truth, you are seeking to destroy the truth, but this is impossible since truth reigns and cannot be destroyed. Seek the truth you shall find it.

The challenge, I believe, is to get the wisdom and understanding to see how all the passages harmonize together.

If this is how you see me, then that is true for you. If I don't see myself the same way, then what I see is true for me. Those are relative truths... truths that change depending on the person who is doing the perceiving.

However, I believe in absolute truth. Truth that does not change depending upon who looks at it.

The Bible is a wonderful source of truth, yet, I do not look through your eyes and do not know what exactly your personal truth of the Bible is that you speak of...that you think I wish to destroy.

So, what exactly is the truth of the Bible to you? It may surprise you that I might agree, that is if I knew what it was.

I'll go ahead and tell you my truth of the Bible: It is a spiritual handbook designed to teach spiritual principles through the use of allegory and parable for the result of not only bringing us closer to God, but to understand God as best we are able. And, all of us "look through the glass darkly". I try to always remember the biblical verse that essentially says: whoever thinks he knows a thing does not yet know as he should.

There is so much more, too, that I could say.
