Look I am Not against you and I am just trying to bring your attention to a couple of things...

Evolutionists bash the bible which is in fact a group of Hebrew and Greek writings thrown together by the Romans and proclaimed to be the word of God...

But in fact is the Roman Doctrine

But this book is actually against Christian teachings!

In that it corrupts the original knowledge through the Roman based church of Primates in order to try and destroy Knowledge.

There is No mention of any Primate church in the bible, Not the Roman church, Not the Anglican church or any other denomination or church what so ever!

Why?????

first off, this has nothing to do with genesis.

second, if genesis was altered, then they did a good job because they got it right.

third, if the OT was corrupted so badly, why did jesus quote from it so often?

It is Not your fault, but just put it down to my poor communication skills, and leave it at that.

I don't know how to communicate in any other way, for you to understand.

No matter what any one believes, or writes, The Truth remains unchanged, by you or me.

What really Matters, is the End result, and we all have to find it in our own way.

Having been through a death experience, where I was declared Brain Dead by doctors for more than 30 minutes, I was shown differently than what is taught on Earth.

The Strangest of all, is actually people in this world, as there understanding is so far from the truth it is Bizarre.

On Death you find just how different reality actually is.

After this experience I could no longer hold onto those things, that were taught to me, by people of this world.

Why say this About Scribes?

After All it was the Scribes that wrote the books of the bible for those that could Not read or write at that time.

But I can't expect any to believe me, as I have No proof other than in Medical records.

So we all have to find out ourselves in the End.

But I can say this what you expect shall Not happen and what you Don't expect Shall happen.

We all find this in the End.

Your experience on Earth, sets you up for that day, (your own death)as it is part of the revealing of yourself.

So what you think is true now will change as a result but it will be different than I witnessed!

yes, unfortunatly its not canon. if it was it would be in direct contradiction to jesus saying that the dead will live again. it would contradict the resurrection and it would contradict ezekial when he said the soul thats sins dies.

it would contradict gods words to adam, that if he ate from the tree he would die.

your quick to invalidate the bible and say that it was changed, yet you are quick to embrace apocryphal books.

do you have any particular evidence that shows the gospel of thomas to be more "valid"?

The days are 24 hour days, I know about the so called day-age theories but they are ridiculous and more stupid than evolutionary theory. Think about it for one second, God created plants the day before the Sun and Moon and Stars were placed in the Heavens. If the days were 1000 years long or the day-age theory how would the plants live 1000 years without sunlight. Plants need sunlight to grow I believe it's called photosynthesis and it uses the sun to turn something into sugar which is what plants use for food.

I can't wait to hear some Jehovah's Witness or other denomination explain this one to us. To date I have never found a day-ager that could answer that one simple question.

lol, i posted an entire chapter of a book that explains it. let me guess, you didnt read it...

the answer is that the stars and the heavens where created back in verse one. the verses after have to be read from the point of view of someone watching creation from the earth.

the day the "luminaries" appeared, it wasnt because they were created but rather because the atmosphere cleared enough for them to be seen clearly.

hypothetically, if moses was given this in the form of a vision, he probably wrote what he saw.

one more thing about the 24 hour day thing....

gen 2:[4] These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,

how can 7 literal 24 hour days be considered "generations" of the heavens and the earth?

later part of the verse says "in the day"... god made. so which is it? 7 literal 24 hour days or 1, 24 hour day?

there are many proofs taht the 7 days of creation are literal 24 hr days.

i cannot list them here neither do i fell like listing them down... but its not a hard job to find the proofs on teh internet. I personally believe in the Gap theory.

But evolution cannot be compatible with the bible because evolution has been disproved. I m talking about monkey to human kind of evolution. It has been proved that species adapt. BUt scientists cant even change a monkey to a human in labs, how can nature do it?

yes and that COMMON ANCESTOR WAS A WET ROCK! Deny that one, you can not as it is Darwin's theory. All life came from wet rocks Bottom line, someone doesn't understand his own theory.

Great thread. I agree. The remaining movement of anti-science (or even the pseudo-Christian science) really hurt their credibility. In my class, for instance, I have girl that argues with the teacher over EVERYTHING - simply because she refuses to believe anything that contradicts her interpretation of the bible.

This ignorant attitude makes her look silly, and at the same time, casts the entire movement in the same light. I think it would be wise for the church to release a statement, let the everyone know that creationism and evolution can work hand-in-hand, and help catch up the science-hating stragglers.

unfortunatley the entirety of science says no

the earth cant form without the sun first

the moon cant form without the sun and earth

you cant have light until youve created somthing to give off energy in the visible light spectrum which requires the stars and the universe (including the sun)

you cant have light or dark until you make somthing to give of the light as dark is an absence of light not an actual thing

you cant have day and night until you have a planet in orbit of a sun

animals came before plants

whales arnt fish

birds came after mammals

essential its a list of stuff people have seen put in totally the wrong order

god said let there be light and nothing happened till day 4 was it? when he made the sun

evolution has been proven literally by tens of thousands of seperate peices of evidence from a whole vast array of scientific disaplines and many of those arnt even in biology

its simply funny you wont list them becasue you to afraid we will rip them all to shreds and your worried incase some of this knowledge seeps in when you read the replies

if you beleive genesis is an accurate acount of what happened you also have to deny gravity(feel free to prove me wrong but id test with other objects first before jumpoing off a building)

you also have to say maths is wrong, so unless you think you can float around freely and 1+1=3 then your wrong

and even if you beleive the above your still wrong until you can prove other wise
