I sincerely hope that President-Elect Obama will be able to make choices in the best interest of the country and the world in the next four years. He's got a big mess waiting for him, and with any luck he'll choose advisers and staff members who can help him get this train back on track.

McCain's concession speech was very gracious. Good on ya, Senator.

Nontheless, my respect goes to McCain, he's a fair loser and delivering the best speech of his campaign right now.

Agreed. He is giving a good speech. Though the crowd booed obama.

Is the rest of the world really happy?

Well John McCain showed a lot of class in his concession speech.

George Bush lost this election for John McCain. I wish he would have won the GOP nomination in 2000.

I am hopeful tonight!!

I must admit McCain is giving a wonderful speech... but I can't feel the same for the many people in the crowds...

...I guess they are just filled with passion for their senator

I was an 8 year old African American child in 1968 when Martin
Luther King was murdered. I remember to this day how my mother
kept telling me to stay away from the windows that night and how
she & dad allowed me to sleep in the bed with them.

What I'm witnessing tonight is almost beyond belief. It will take some
time to sink in.. just like it took time for the magnitude Sept 11th to
sink in. I must be in shock right now.

Congrats to America from Australia, wise choice and i hope the next 4-8 years are peaceful and prosperous

But Palin is cold as ice, look at her forced smile.

New hunting rifle :200$
A complete new wardrobe 150.000$
Sarah Palins face right now: Priceless

McCain just in these minutes won a little sympathy from me, how he's handling the booing crowd and standing his man is honarable. Best speech from his mouth ever, but when Obama comes out it going through the roof.

I am stunned. Totally stunned. It is 11:30 PM I never expected to have this election settled by now and so decisively.
