Well, it is cute, and it do have some resamblance to the Devil, but only in that specific angle, and apart from that, it is not looking anything like the Devil at all, which can be taken as a fact, as there have been very detailed descriptions of the Jersey Devil in modern times, were the observers have seen the full creature in broad daylight. In one instance, even just outside the window of the car.

The sightings have continued numerousely all in to this day, and this year(2008).

So: Sorry, but it can't be that creature, although it is indeed very cute and leaves an impression, I will admit that.

The picture of the H Monstrosus does look eerily familiar to that of the Jersey Devil as described by witnesses. And there is always the possibility as someone else suggested in a post to this thread that maybe that zoo in Jersey that is closed now may have had an H Monstrosus that got away. In terms of how long people have been reporting sightings and experiences with the Jersey Devil, though, I would have to say no to that possibility because its been way over 200 years since the reported start of Jersey Devil sightings. A very interesting possibility.

In terms of Jungle Habitat, I live next to it and go walking there all the time. I've never seen a Jersey Devil nor noticed anything suspicious. It's surprisingly very peaceful land regardless of the horror stories.
