IR camera - 7 UFO's seen.

fror one simple reason - the incidence of the sun is different - which makes a huge difference when imaging in IR

you admit that you have just got the camea - and are experimenting - so please stop pretending you now know everyting

Sorry, but not all birds fly in formation. Geese do but seagulls do not. I don't think we can put the bird issue aside yet.

I was stunned when I read your post. I have been seeing these bright blips of light very high in the sky for months now. I kept telling myself that it was planes or that I was somehow seeing glimpses of stars. Your post has just validated these sightings. I'm not at all convinced that they are ET, but at least now i know that I am not crazy.

OP, great catch!! I can remember that in Hurst, TX, some guy also got the same thing. He saw some shiny objects very high in the sky, and they were hard to see with visible light, but with the IR, they became very visible. I am going to try and find the photo, it was awhile back.

Can an IR camera pick up stars? To me it looks like part of orion the hunter's belt. Just a suggestion. I no nothing about IR camera's and what they can do.

I'll give it a whirl. However, this was a daylight early morning pic and the stars would of been under the horizon by that time for it to be Orion.

The bird issue is dead. The distance they were meant that the camera could not and will not pick up a bird at that distance. It had trouble with birds at short distances.

First of all very few gulls actually migrate. The reason seagulls dont fly in formation is because they are agreesive and they would not be flying together in any form of formation, migratory of not. So once again, even if they were gulls they wouldnt fly like that. Gulls dont cooperate with each other.

Just because gulls dont use that formation that doesnt mean gulls is a reasonable answer, and I think if we knew the location it would be very easy to rule gulls out because as I said very few gulls migrate.

Its clear that if those were birds, at that altitude flyign in any form of group they would HAVE to be migrating because thats the only time they would flying like that. When they are local they fly independantly or randomly, tend to stick around their territory. they dont just go cruising.

That is one crazy video Thanks for taking the time to hunt that down for me to see. Thats the reason why I was so up for buying an IR camera - looking at the world through a new 'eye' and opening up alot more possibilities for catching weird or unusual things on camera.

It's nothing but birds. Anyone with half a brain can see that. The first pic looks like birds in formation, the second looks as a bird in flight.

Sensitivity of equipment used, different wave lengths, oh the list is long. Yes IR and thermal imaging are used in alot of circumstances; however, after reading your 'half a brain' comment, and knowing mods have censored me for much less, i'll not bother replying to you in depth with any form of civilised reply.

has he been in the Armed Forces? because 'meet the [add what ever unpleasentness they had in mind]' is a favorite of some of the instructors in Infantry training school at Catterick when they either have some thing really unpleasent to make you do, or some thing really so fantastic its amazing.

My favorite was 'meet mr mop and bucket' and 'meet mr fifty calibre rifle'. The mop and bucket because some one was going to get their arse kicked and mr fifty for obvious reasons.
