Whats the story behind your Avatar and your profile name?

My Username CA_Orot, is an anagram... Its got some of my Last name, and my First Initials in there. Scrambled up It eventually evolved into CARROT. Which is what I'm Called around BTS.

My Current Avatar, features lyrics from the new Coldplay Album. "Lost" Its my favorite song at the moment, and the first two lines, are the most to moving lyrics I've heard in a while.

I had the picture for a long time, I love the White sketched against the black - I finally decided to use it.

I've been going by The Vagabond in various places for about 13 years. I originally chose it as a reference to Metallica's "Whereever I May Roam", but I got attatched to it because of a passage in Genesis that I saw a lot of my own life in.

As for the avatar, as I've told before, when my grandfather was murdered in 2004 I asked BastetNoir to put together a cowboy jolly roger with wrenches in honor of the 3 things my grandpa spent his life doing (wrenches count double-he was a mechanic and a roughneck- originally i'd planned on having one wrench be a ratchet and the other a pipe wrench, but the symetry was better).

My name comes from vig being part of my last name, and big being that I was over weight growing up. the 316 part was because i had to chose a number and Stone Cold Steve Austin was big. So bigvig316.

MY avatar is non other that the greatest defender of freedom and liberty a comic book has ever seen. Non other that Captain America. He is a symbol of freedom and the rights that have been fought fo that gives us the right to be able to post our ideas and views freely, with out persecution. He is more than a superhero, he is a symbol.

The name observer 'X' matches my avatar, being an alien observing us humans and our lives. Lots of psychological analyzing goes on in my mind. Of myself and others and stuff. I like the picture cause its clean and simple and stands out, and you can tell straight away by seeing it I like the thought of alien life as humanity is a bit of a YAWN at times and my mind is out there aswel as down here.

We are all observers here in life, observer X seemed more fitting than observer B.. (for Brian) lol.. so thats me.. picture of me on my profile by the way.

So my name would be a reflection of my innerself in some form. The soul part was added on to point that out. I don't think it does it very well, and I kind of regret not thinking it over a little better.

I think i posted this somewhere else but dont know where so here it goes again..
My good friend in Texas ( I know her online for 3 years now ) was having a rough time. As a joke she called me her SUGAR daddy.. so i got paintshop out and smacked my head on a Sugar daddy lolli pop to make her laugh and the rest is history.
I never really intended on posting here so i used it as my name when i joined ( i got sucked into this place LOL ).. but it kinda sounds stripperish.. NOT how it was meant.. It is GOOFY.. like me..

So , please.. call me " j" everyone does. =)

avatar started as the basic symbol of the absolut vodka bottle as the pyramid on the dollar bill (I think thats the one it's on I'm not american, it was then hande over to the very talented AshleyD who morphed it into what it is now.

The name? well only a couple of people picked up on the initials being WWW (before it was added to the avatar) it's just my little take on TPTB using the web to keep track on us, or is it our way to keep tabs on them.

Well the name comes from some of my favourite things out there. 'Doctor Who' and 'Lucky Number Sleven'.

In Doctor Who, one of the running antagonists in the show is a group called

"Bad Wolf"

And in Lucky Number Sleven my favourite character (played by Bruce Willis) goes by the name of

"Mr Good Cat"

and dumdada

"Good Wolf"

The moment it hit me I thought that it was perfect for me. Perfect! I've been going by it for years and wouldn't dream of going by anything else anymore, to me it's not an alias, it is a name, a part of my self identity (that which has been influenced by my activity on the interweb).


The Avatar is one I came across along time ago that I thought looked really cool, and suited ATS well. It was customised by AshleyD (link in my signature).

My screen name is utterly boring. It stems from the fact I joined ATS only to make one quick comment, without any intention of returning. So, I picked something quick which was my first name and last name's initial. Then I fell in love with ATS and the members, became addicted, and the rest is history. I hate my 'alias.' The 'D' at the end makes me cringe. Reminds me of the song from Grease 'Sandra Dee,' like I'm a bimbo caricature. 'Hello! My name is AshleyD!' Oh well. lol

Avatar: Signifies grace, strength, and calmness. Pretty much everything I'm not. The guardian angel with the sword is reflective of my overly protective personality. I often stand up for Christians/Christianity around here so I wanted something to depict that. And pink is my absolute favorite color in the whole world. Then, although not a spitting image, the angel looks very similar to me with coloring, facial features, body shape/height, age, and wavy (if not blow dried straight) hair. So I picked her, altered her dress to pink, and added in a sword to reflect my 'fighting' side in religious debates.

Random? When random is the norm, how random is it?

Oh alright then I'm just going to take an upsidedown picture of a vacuumcleaner and make it my avatar just to be randomly normal.

I didn't think I would be here long, so I didn't feel like getting very creative with my name. I have used Karlhungis for a long time on different forums. Once upon a time I went to sign up as KarlHungus but the name was taken, so I changed the u to an i and it worked. Rather than try to keep my name straight on different forums, I just use the misspelled version so I don't have to worry about it being taken.

The name is from one of the characters in the best movie of all time "The Big Lebowski." I thought I was being funny when I first started using it. Now I just use it.

The avatar is the serial killer from No Country for Old Men. I thought he was the most interesting villain that I had seen in a long time so I felt inspired to make him my avatar. I haven't been inspired enough to change it since.

I will get around to it some day. Maybe I will hit up some of the experts here on BTS....
