The fact is, to them, the objects are already identified. Identified as CGI. Remember, today is the big day of the Oct. 14th hype. They're merely toying with viewers, both skeptics and believers. But they can't toy with people who are keen on rationalizing what's really happening.

Where was their Oct. 14th hype? Blossom Crazychild has only been getting hyped up on sites like this, not the mainstream media. I find it hard to believe that the BBC would be putting CGI UFO's into their broadcasts to try and fool the viewers. Seriously, that's just completely ridiculous. If I had to guess now, I would say birds. To think that the BBC is in on the Oct. 14th stuff would be way too paranoid for me.

Originally posted by DemetriyIn an earlier post the originator of the thread had mentioned that he was unsure as to whether the sound originated from the broadcast or outside. Looking at the shorter clip, you hear no noise, which pretty much rules out the sound coming from the broadcast.

I'm not sure if this is UFO's and i'm not that kind of person to look for anything to say they are, I do hear a short faint sound resembling the sound of the first clip from the second clip though, it's very faint and shorter. We will see when he posts a better clip.

Watch the first one again.

Bottom left corner, right after the first two go by.

Doesn't look much like a bird.

I don't know about others but I could hear the swooshing sound in both of the videos.. Also, there is no way those are birds lol.. they do not look like birds AT ALL..

thats BS bad CGI... i've DL it from youtube and edit it frame by frame, the first one seem to oddly not match with its line of trajectory and the size doesnt seem to match with the distance, secondly the second one is nowhere to be seen if u judge by the direction its taking it would of wham straight into the building and you SHOULD be able to see something between the two buildings and there's nothing... downloaded a clip from BBC then added some CGI and then filmed his TV as the clip with CGI added was playing... takes about 5 minutes...

Here guys I took a minute to find the right pause spots and created a collage with enlargements.

From what I can see, it was clearly no living animal, it is metalic yet fluid at the same time. Indicating that perhaps the speed of it was FAR to fast for the cameras to get a 'real' photo of it. Or it was some sort of cloaking device coming online, as the crafts seem to simply just disappear into thin air, especially if you look closely.

The only other explanation is that its employees playing a joke. But when its your career at stake, that's a fairly heavy price for anyone to pay - for a joke.

But they do not look like any plausible specific flying object as of now do they?

Unless you count a Unidentified Flying Object as *specific*.

I think in threads like this its a good idea to make a check list.

Size appears fairly large. (unlikely to be birds)
They move at high speed. (unlikely to be birds)
They go from fairly close to behind a building in the distance. (not birds!)
Movement is odd (unlikely to be jets)
No visible disturbance or exhaust (unlikly to be jets)
Low flying through a city at speed. (not jets!)
Anymore?

So the possibility's are CGI or advanced craft of earthly or alien origin, but its unidentified and unknown for the moment.

WOW!!! At least there were some UFO's on the 14th circling around the Globe

The one thing that gets me though is how perfectly congruent both objects are when they blaze across the screen.

Take this into consideration, when watching the first clip as i've said on repeat over and over, you get the impression it's a misleading reflection, happens with windows reflections from skyscrapers, when the second object dives down, ie: that would be good CGI to pull that off. Then again the second object can be seen between 2 buildings.. Lol we will just have to wait and see when he posts a HD clip.

Could he of edited this in? I don't know

Edit:

This would have to be a very big bird and damn good CGI to make a shadow on that rooftop! Look;

Wasn't the message for the GLF supposed to be 3 days the crafts would be visible or 3 secs?

I think most people want exactly what was stated and nothing less.

it looked like pigeons or seagulls

It's never going to be possible to prove without a shadow of doubt that these are pigeons or something else. We can only say what is or is not likely.

Lets look at the facts:

1. there are 3 objects in a short space of time, moving fairly erratically, all going in the same direction. pigeons or UFOs? Well, there are lots of pigeons around here... I have yet to see 3 UFOs come along all at once!

2. these objects look to be about the right size, and color for pigeons.

3. these object are flying at the kind of speeds that you would expect a pigeon to fly at.

The above is not proof that these were pigeons by any means, but it's good evidence that these were most likely pigeons.

If we knew what the shutter speed of the camera was at the time, then I think we could plug in some numbers and work out how fast some of these objects were going. Of course, we'd have to estimate how far away from the camera the objects are, and depending on the focal length of the lens used, we could be off by a bit, but if we say they are 15 feet away (for arguments sake - and it seems about right if they were pigeons), and if the answer comes out within the range of speed attainable by pigeons, then I think we could be almost completely sure that these were in fact pigeons.

Finding out what shutter speed was used probably won't be easy though. If anyone here is already planning to get in touch with the BBC about this, perhaps you could add another question to the list - the focal length of the lens used would be good to know too

For those of you waiting on me to post an HD version, I'll redirect you to earlier posts in this thread when the issue was discussed. I have absolutely no idea how to get a video on my Dish DVR to my computer, as I do not have a disc burner to transfer television video to a CD. Someone mentioned that I could open up my DVR player, take out the hard drive and insert it into my computer or provide my DVR serial number so that someone could hack it and take my video (I assume they could also delete it if they were so inclined). I'd just like to stress once again that I do not feel comfortable taking a few hardware tools to my DVR player or providing access to my DVR player to a complete stranger. That cuts it down to working with what we've got. I have seen images as grainy as these cleaned up quite nicely on ATS, so I know that it's possible. I am hoping that someone with the expertise can do so for us.

Again, I need to stress that no sane person ought to hold any faith in my tech abilities. I will willingly admit that I'm inclined to let a man take care of the gadgets in my house (that's right folks, paperplanes is indeed a girl). I realize that this is disappointing, but I can't very well produce an HD version of the video when I've found simple uploading difficult.

I get the whole bird theory, and how pigeons are so prevelant in London, but seriously, in all my days i have never seen a pigeon move that fast, nor be that large. Sure the backdrop is most likely not live so there is no telling when this "incident" took place, but i cant see how these things are birds.

and i am also not saying they are 'Alien aircraft" either...they just arent birds.

Having looked at the video 3 times or so I think it maybe a bird or bird(s)
Just my opinion, great spot though.

paperplanes,

These images are not really grainy, not in the way a true photograph is. Grain can be smoothed, but the artifacts in these images would be extremely hard, if not impossible to remove. Unfortunately, image detail can not be created where there was none to start with. Trying to enhance these screen caps would have negligible effect on how clear they appear.

The hype is everywhere. Not just sites like this.

BBC isn't "trying to fool" viewers by placing CGI UFOs in their broadcasts, they're doing it to mock the hype. The purpose is to farce UFOlogy and/or to toy with people being suckered by their blatant CGI.
