I'm at work so I must be brief.

I call fake. Notice in the first video there is a distinct "whooshing" noise as the UFO's fly by. Why would we hear that noise, and at the same time as they are visually seen?

I'll come back and log in to explain better later if need be.

I have NOT read through the whole thread, but can't you find it on
www.bbc.co.uk...

Although they don't seem to record all the news, I wonder why...

On a serious note, I'm not sure what time it was nor have the internet capacity to look it up (nor am I really THAT interested AT LEAST I'M HONEST!) . But just trying to help.

I just phoned BBC World News and spoke to a gentleman there about it who (Surprise surprise) Seemed to be attempting to fob me off the second I mentioned "Something strange streaking past the window".

He went into this whole speil about people being able to manipulate videos.

"This was recorded directly on a TV from a video camera"

Then he went onto just how it all passed them by (inc' the GFL craziness) but they would "Take a look"

I don't know if it's birds (Looks too high around Canary Wharf tbh, IMHO) But I personally haven't seen anything around there, lately and I live in that general area.

Please do not bring the 14 October predictions into this thread. As far as I'm concerned, this has nothing to do with Blossom Goodchild and her giant mothership. As hard as it may be to believe, some of us are quite capable of seeing Goodchild and her predictions as silliness without rejecting every other piece of UFO evidence. I spent a fair bit of time over on the 14 October thread, goofing around with other ATSers who also think it's a joke (I apologize for offending anyone) and spotted this footage this morning. The two subjects have nothing to do with one another. It really is not that impossible.

Did he happen to mention if the background is live or not?

Actually the funny thing was... I twice mentioned that "You know, I'm not sure if your guy was using green/blue screen or it was a live shot but..." - And he failed to give me a definitive on that one.

Although recollecting the weather here in London today, I'd say it was pretty close to real-time lol

Hmmm. Maybe we'll get an answer to that if and when they respond to my email. I would have thought it would be a simple question necessitating a simple answer.

Great you actually called, I don't believe it really is anything, but if we don't make sure of that, this thread will just die with the conclusion: they were pigeons; without actually having proved they are.

About the weather related issue, this was shot a little before 7 am, so it could have been clear sky as it tends to be most of the time early mornings and then turned cloudy very quickly.

I see the bottom object making a strange manouvre, just before it ''hits'' the blue sticker on the window. So could that be, because it is a reflection ?
The top object also seems to go behind the last building, wich wouldn't make sense because it seems to go infront of the first building.
A good quality footage is definitely needed to make any conclusions imo.

I can't believe you still haven't figured out the background isn't live and that the flying objects are purely CGI. They're blatantly placed there to poke fun of the Oct. 14th hype and program people into subconsciously ridiculing anything related to UFOlogy.

Facinating video find. The objects do appear to fade which would make one suspicious of cgi manipulation BUT my own personal observations of ufos in the past have shown me that ufos can indeed fade out like that as im sure many ufo cases over the years will show. How far are the objects from the camera? because it seems to me that the objects appear to be quite large and if so that would rule out birds. I personally dont think birds even pigeons hitting top speed would look like that and then (disappear in to thin air while doing so) so my guess is it is either cgi or the real deal and it is a guess. Be nice to see some high definition video of this.

IMO they are not birds because I can hear the air splitting(or engines) as they go by. This seems fake to me, but I'm not a CGI expert.

I find it odd that you're quick to criticize my reasoning skills while suggesting that the BBC is attempting to subconsciously program viewers to ridicule UFOs.

I doubt this is going to read due to the size of the thread and the need by some to jump to the last post with excitement, but here goes

Ok Birds? Nope, a lot of you are talking about them (the objects)flying down, when in fact they are disappearing into the distance, field of sight, I know the place well, and you are talking maybe just short of a quarter of a mile,Birds? naaaa.

Also the thisrd video with the single Object, after the object passes behind the mans head, look down to the left to the black (i think) building, the Object reappears right there and easier to see because of the colour.

And third, the whizzing sound, could this be electrical interference from the actual objects, and the reason it isn't on the other video is, sound men hear things all the time from lots of different sources? they filter things out without thinking about it, if they are good at their job, BBC seems to ire the good ones.

These answers are just as good and valid, as the debunking answers, and be honest a damn long way more credible than some of the answers? dont ya Fink?.

Regarding the whooshing sound, I posted earlier that I think the noise came from the room around me rather than the TV itself. It sounds like something brushing across the floor or table; it does not seem to match up with the audio of the interview. I could have easily brushed something without noticing it. Just my best guess; I could be wrong.

Hi Paperplanes

I have been following this thread since this morning, and have to say, that it was a very nice find.

Clearly it is "unidentified"...could be a bird, ET, CGI, or whatever else, thus the title of the thread is quite appropriate, since none of us can definitively say "well that is a nose-diving pigeon". Until there is high-res images on here from the recording, I am inclined to go the route of Ockams razor.

S&F for u!

I think,as we're talking about the BBC here,it's probably alot more likley to be some kind of subliminal mind stuff going on,than an "accidental" airing of a ufo
. Anyone into that sort of stuff, what's the significance with stuff sweeping accross like that? Almost like the Nike swoosh.

That is much appreciated. I'm getting a little taste of my own medicine with the attacks here, as I've been one to poke fun at some of these stories in the past (though, I hope, usually in a gentler way). At this point, I still think they may very well be birds, but I just can't be certain without a clearer picture or some expert analysis.

Sorry, little before 7am?

Watching that it tells me 12:35pm local time?

Prove it. You can't. I think the man on the phone who I spoke to, who was clearly trying not to laugh at my thoughts on 'objects in the sky' would have been quick to shoot down my comments/questions by telling me it was indeed a blue/green screen.

I also don't think he would have asked me about the 'October 14th phenomenon" when I bought it up and he told me they had no stories about that come into the "BBC World" news office at all that day and it must have slipped past them; as I pointed out in my post.

And just quickly I'll add it was the head office desk I was transfered to. I wasn't quick enough to catch the guys name, unfortunately.
