You know, there's this theory that says that you can know how people think by the way they write. And you, my friend, write in a very incorrect manner.

That's interesting,I always thought I was a gay man in a womans body.So ,if your a lesbian in man's body and we dated would that mean there were four of us in this relationship .Could get expensive on Valentines Day but at least I would know that your could lift heavy weights and be sensitive to my needs AND we could go shopping together (i think)
Seriously though, how many pages is this homophobic claptrap going to yeild and as for 'choosing' to be gay?Is this brainwashing from the Palin Church of Whatsahola or what?At least if all gays are going to hell we can take comfort that it will be colour co-ordinated and neat and tidy and have some nice parades everynow and again.

Yours ,not gay but wish I was just to spite the homolimp*****s,

Candyfloss

No kidding . I thought thats why I fancied you the moment I read your post . That must mean we are both crossmosexuals !

I have always been attracted to women who are emotionally and intellectually strong but not butch ,cant handle butch . Ultra femminines nice too though .

But seriously, we are all a balance of male and female attributes .If a man does not have a stable and comfortable relationship with his caring inner feminine side he gets all angry and bitchy , same for women.

No , joking aside ,to many men are raised badly . In a world were women were equal in every respect a lot of these gender issues would not arise . I blame religion for most of this stupid nonsense .

Having said that I would love to jump in the sack with a lesbian couple .
Woo whooo !

I had a lesbian couple approach me to be a sperm donor once but I'm a bit old fashioned in some areas .

Funny old world innit love ?

Maybe he's caught on or something. Dwelling on his platform and mulling it all over. I think a little re-examination inward is a good thing. It doesn't weigh on my soul how TKain feels. I don't think he's wanting pity. I'm sure he's a little bewildered by the response, though.

Sorry TKain, we just seem to disagree.

If being gay was a choice, is it a choice made once, and then sealed forever? That seems completely impossible...have we ever once made a choice that we wouldn't be confronted with again?

If being gay was a choice, and you chose to be a heterosexual male at a young age, would you not have to consistently choose heterosexuality? Would you not have to choose to stay attracted to women, when confronted with a good looking man? When you see an attractive guy down the street do you think, "Wow, he looks so good in those jeans...oh wait..umm..my girl yeah she looks better."

That's why the choice argument is so silly, choices in life, especially sexuality, aren't choices made once and then sealed forever within your soul...sexuality is a behavior and a mindset you confront every single day of your life, without question.

Let's say I'm driving my car(sexuality), and I ask myself if I should speed (homosexuality), or stay under the limit (heterosexuality). So if I decide to stay the limit Thursday, won't I have to make that same decision again Friday when I'm driving home down the same road?

Lots of great responses in this thread, glad to see so many people actually are denying ignorance in their lives!

Yes exactly. Very well said.

A choice implies a regular reaffirmation of the choice. This doesn't occur with sexual orientations. We (people) just naturally gravitate towards a sex, and then we continue to without further reflection. We can reflect on it's nature, but it will drive us in a direction regardless.

Well my last reply to your comments got an extreme t and c !

Not sure why but I guess your not allowed to talk about genitalia in a frank and humorous way . OOPs ,did I use the genitalia word. may god strike me down and send me straight to hell with five hundred points removed !

Thats Americans for you . Puritan hang ups over the silliest things .
And yet no hang ups at all about genocide ,racism and the vicious ranting of right wing christians . well if this post gets me banned all I can say is 'whatever' .

I did not attack anyone in that deleted post. All I did was in fact make fun of myself . And thats the problem with this Forum sometimes. It takes itself WAY to seriously about 'dirty words ' and turns a blind eye to hate filled rants .

I mean really , did anyone get a t and c for calling richard nixon DICK ?

Whats so terrible about DICK ?. Or the planet URANUS ?. ATS will be giving said planet a Tand C notice and refuse to recognise it as a planet next !

So anyway ,I got slapped for using the words dick ,uranus and condom !

Just so you all know why .

I thought your post was a little much yeah

Not that I personally found it offensive, but I recognized it as the kind of post that is normally moderated. Just try not to use that particular style of humor and frankness.

Look, it is their rules. You agreed to them when you signed that contract for free

Sometimes that is very true.

Just a friendly reminder to all participating in this thread.

Please remain on topic. This thread is about students surprising their lesbian teacher on her wedding day with a party.

Now I understand that opinions can smack heads sometimes, and that's understandable, but we must all remember what it is that we're talking about here.

So again, lets keep to the topic, ok?

Thanks for understanding,

It's difficult not to have a heated debate when it's subjects like human sexuality .People in either camps have very strong feeling and can't understand the views of the opposition. It all seemed to be on topic to me so would you mind expanding a bit about what is considered off topic. That would be helpful, thanks.

Particularly, sniping at another member. Suffice it to say that personal attacks against other members will not be permitted here. When we lean more to attacking the person than the issue, we tend to stray from the topic. This has started to happen.

All that I'm doing is trying to remind everyone of what we're actually talking about, and to keep the focus on that and not each other.

I hope that wasn't too convoluted an explanation..

If ever a question, all you need do is ask.

Understood,it's just that with this particular story due to it's content there doesn't seem to be any way people are'nt going to get angry and snipy.
The anti-gay people don't undertand the pro-gay people. Some of it is due to religous beliefs, some moral and some just intolerant. However the tolerant people don't understand what they percieve as mis-information and some bigotry. What complicates matters are kids are involved.I think ,in general ,people do try to stick to the rules and with the exception of a few jokes, manage that.Personal attacks are wrong and maybe people should move away from the screen for a few minutes and count to ten.A really good well thought out reply is far more effective tan calling someone a moron etc etc....I think ATS should get a Naughty Step-(see Supernanny)Cheers Candy

Thanks for the comment. I think the offensive posts should be left alone; reading them is actually what made me look at myself, knowing that a short time ago I might have written them myself. Ugh.

These children should not be exposed to homosexuality. They are in their formative years (that's why they are in school beginning at a young age).

When I was a kid, I grew through several fetishes. Foot fetish (outgrew it at about 8), homosexual fetish (introduced by older kids, outgrew it by 8), and girl fetish (still like that one, kept it). If there were adults in my environment cheering on my fetish with other boys, I would probably have stayed in it longer. Therefore, from a personal point of view, I believe these are normal phases many people go through in their young life. The problem begins when they get stuck in one of the phases and never get out of it.

On the internet, you will see people doing all sorts of sordid sexual acts. I believe their conscience is inoperative, or they have given up on themselves and given themselves over to find means of satisfaction that they believe will fill their needs. Many of these are psychologically or medically destructive. For example, beastiality. Medically, beastiality promotes brucellosis and other contagion such as flesh-eating bacteria transmission, not to mention rabies. When I was young, there were about three famous STDs. Now we know of 57. Who knows what we will find next.
When the Frenchman brought AIDS to America on his gay tour across the US, his relations with multiple male partners infected the nation over the years. Medically, it is wrong to promote homosexuality. Look it up.

Morally, it is wrong to promote deviant behavior. Our country has tried to hold the line on the slippery slope of morality for many years. Maintaining standards is difficult, and you get called a lot of names. The gay community is particularly outspoken at condemning anyone who fights against their agenda. In Sacramento, we had a lecturer who was speaking to a group. The Gay Community didn't just attend, their group called Act Up yelled so loud and so long that the lecturer couldn't deliver any of his message. The message wasn't about gays, but because he was anti-gay, they destroyed his presentation. Would you, a homosexual, consider being this rude?

Ever seen a gay parade in San Francisco? Would you, a homosexual, ever go outside dressed up for a parade without most of your clothes on? And would you flaunt your sexual organs for the crowd? Would you French Kiss the members in the parade with you? These perverted actions are a symptom of the perversion of Sexual Affinity Disorder (SAD). It should not be promoted in any way to children. It should not be tolerated by the public at large.

I have to question the Charter School. Others have rightly asked if the parents gave permission for attendance at this perverted event.

I'm a lifetime Californian. I like to think of myself as a generous and compassionate person. I believe in saving the whales, and the trees, etc. I hate smog. I like helping the poor. What I don't like is these fringe elements. I don't like the homosexual perversion movement and I don't like people killing their babies while they are being born. Maybe you do. Maybe you should rethink your position. I think there are some very loud activists in California, with a lot of money, and they persuade the majority through their threat of "political correctness." Everyone wants to be kind and politically correct, but promoting homosexuality to the vulnerable children is just pushing their perverted agenda to insure it continues into the future of these young future voters. It's sick to do that to children.

The lessons learned are not always what you think. The kids are smart. Bring up the children at home the "right way" and they will take from the experience what was intended. The obvious is not always the message. The moment will forever impress on their hearts and minds exactly what they were meant to see and learn.

In fact, I think Jim Scott will agree, those are clearly all tenets of the Radical Homosexual Agenda
