Wow, it's what, 13 years to the day since he was acquitted? That's what I just heard on the BBC anyway.

Apparently it was 12 counts of kidnapping and robbery - I wonder what his sentence will be!

No gloves with this one. He should write a book about it perhaps.

A bit of karmic balance here. I just can't believe he was dumb enough to do this after getting away with murder. I hope he gets life.

The following is my opinion as a member participating in this discussion.

OJ is a bit out of touch with reality, and has been for a really, really long time. He had actually come to believe he was truly untouchable.

Anyway, I'm glad that justice of some sort is finally going to be served.

15 years to life is what I'm hearing.

It's a shame it took 13 years for him to get SOME sort of punishment.

Regardless of what OJ did in the past - I find this case complete BS and I would of not found him guilty.

A couple of scumbags ripped him off and he went to get his property back. They set him up all the way and made all kinds of blood money off this.

No doubt the jurors were tainted 9 of them women that probably convicted him because what he did to his ex that had nothing to do with this case. Should have been an equal number of men & women and should of had an a couple African Americans as well.

I predict he will win an appeal and will be back in court within a couple years.

If somebody rips me off - I reserve the right to bash their door down beat the crap out of them and take my stuff back.

This case was all about revenge of the criminal court system against OJ for beating the crap out of them the first time.

You are exactly the type of person who was on the jury. Glad that they got a chance to get him for his past. That's not justice at all.

Edit - rest of post removed for inappropriate comments. I apologize.

YES!!!! Finally this scumbag is going to prison like he should have 13 years ago! Now maybe the Goldmans and the Browns will get some peace. Hopefully they throw the book at him! Hell, I hope they throw the whole library at him!

HMMM OJ kills his wife and and her boyfriend. he is acquitted in criminal court but found responsible in civil court for their death.

he claims his stuff was stolen but yet wheres the police report that he filed? He takes the law in his own hands, and steals stuff he says is his and kidnaps people and you think he should get away with that?

He got lucky with the first Jury, this Jury seen past his celebrity status and followed the law he is guilty as sin and i hope he spends the rest of his pathetic life behind bars. its just to bad it took 13 years for his luck to run out!

Now maybe if he gets life in prison the Browns and Goldmans can seize his property and get the money OJ was suppose to pay them.

OJ Simpson is not a scumbag - He is an American hero that really screwed up and probably killed his wife in a jealous rage. However that's not what this case was supposed to be about, but it appears that it was.

Goldmans and the Browns will never have peace - their son & daughter is dead and they remember that at least every night when they go to bed. Maybe they will get a momentarily laugh or smile and the thought of OJ being in temporariy pain, but that doesn't change anything tomorrow for them. If OJ did it he got away with it and that's over and done.

This is a whole new case and yeah the man was stupid, but I still don't agree with the premise of the prosecution.

He lost his 'American Hero' status the day he killed Nicole and Ron Goldman! I watched the entire trial and he was as guilty as sin!

They will not get total peace, but they will get some knowing that the man that killed their child is no longer walking around free on some golf course in Florida!

We have a legal system for a reason. If the merchandise was stolen, which I doubt, then he should have called the police and reported it stolen. Then he could have had the police recover the items. Instead he was either trying to steal it back, or take the law into his own hands, and he deserves exactly what he's going to get! This isn't the 'Wild West' anymore!

We're supposed to idolize murderers now?
Is that what I should tell my kid to aspire to?

Have you been drinking this evening?

Killing someone in a jealous rage doesn't get your American Hero trophy taken away!!

I wouldn't care if this case was fabricated entirely just to put him away. It was completely unfair that he walked after he killed his wife.

The police don't recover peoples property - they put people in jail and they keep as much property as they can get away with.

Yes - I agree it ain't the Wild West anymore, but anyone who's ever been ripped off before would love to do the same thing if they thought they could get away with it. While I don't have empathy with OJ for what he did in LA, I think this case was a complete setup and unfair.

I hope the scumbags that ripped off OJ - get what they have coming.

Vigilantism is exactly why OJ is going to prison and at his age he will die in prison.

OJ gets what he deserves. He won't be getting a next time to call police, if he thinks he's been robbed. He ran out of karma.

If this was an innocent man then I would agree with you, as I have my suspicions as well.

However this was a murderer of innocent people. No. This was poetic justice.

Well I have to disagree, once you beat a case it should be over, but I see by the responses here it isn't. I suppose were all human and we all want revenge, but the court system is supposed to be above that.
